Death Against Death [1x1]

Zulemia nodded slowly. "In Hell, we have good food, and our music changes depending on the new souls. We have feasts, sometimes," she commented, cradling the phone in her palms. After a moment, she slipped the phone into the front pocket of her jumper. Maybe Pater Tek would find some use in it. She slipped off of the bar stool. "Are you ready to go?" She asked.

Andria slowly nods. "Yes.. i think so..." Andria knew that this was either going to go wonderful for her... or terribly wrong... so she was still scared just a bit. Andria hops off of her stool as well. "Right... lets go"

Zulemia nodded, and turned to the bar woman. It was now apparent why she didn't care that the bar woman was hearing all about Heaven and Hell. She closed her eyes and transformed, a tall dark figure with glowing eyes. The bar woman didn't even get to shout before Zulemia reached out and touched the woman. Instantly, her body fell limp and her soul floated out. "I can't open a portal to hell without killing somebody," she explained to Adria, a portal opening near her feet. She carelessly dropped the soul down, watching it disappear. She reached out a hand to Adria, encouraging her to take it.

Adria had completely forgotten about the human... "Oh...ok.." Adria reaches out to take the demons hand but hesitates for a second but takes her hand away. "I cant believe im doing this....." You can clearly see she is rather anxious.

Zulemia tipped her head back slightly as she laughed. "Don't worry about it," was the last thing she said before she took a step forward and plummeted into the hole, dragging Adria with her.

The fall was fast, but still long. The two fell in darkness for a long time, the air rushing past their ears too loud to make conversation, the only light being Zulemia's slightly glowing eyes. Zulemia, frankly, seemed rather bored with the fall, never letting go of Adria's hand as she strived to fall down faster.

Finally, there was a faint light. It was a hot, red-orange light, like a bright flame. Zulemia smiled with shiny white teeth when she saw it, diving faster and faster. They came to the bottom, and Zulemia suddenly pulled up, floating in the air as she looked down. Directly below them was a great, massive pit, filled with pure burning fire. Inside, souls danced and flailed in pain. The pit was still quite far below them, but distant screams could still be heard. Zulemia looked to Adria, whose hand she was still holding, to see her reaction.

Andria held onto mias hand tightly afraid to let go of it as they fell and fell. It was very hot but adria was already getting use to it. Andria was horrified by the sight and sounds that greeted her as she watched the souls of people suffering and screaming in agony. "..they... they deserve it.... right..?" It was more like a question to herself then to mia. It was clear that Andria would of course be uncomfortable with the sight but with time she could become use to it and mia could help her along the way.

Zulemia faltered a little at Andria's reaction. "Don't worry. You don't even have to come here that often, if you don't like it," she reminded, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. "I'll bring you to Mater Sanctus, now," she said. Zulemia quickly lead Andria away, towards a tall, dark brick building.

A minute or so later and Zulemia landed. There was a great moat in front of the large castle-like structure, filled with lava instead of water and covered over with a bridge of stone. Zulemia let go of Andria's hand, walking across the bridge and into the Temple of Maters and Paters.

Andria happily followed mia wanting to get away from the screaming. Once mia let go of her hand andria was kind of disappointed that she didn't continue holding it. It brought her small comfort strangely enough. Andria followed close behind mia as they enter the temple. "Hey mia do you stay in hell or the mortal realm most of the time?" it was a very simple question and a good distraction from the screaming in the distance."

Zulemia lifted a finger to her lips. "If you must talk, whisper," she said in a low voice. Past the entrance was a massive circular lobby, with doors on all the walls with large gold plaques above them: Mater Praeteritum, Pater Tek, and others like that. At the further side of the room there was a large staircase up either side of the wall, with more doors on either side. Then, at the top of the staircases and at the centre of the wall there was a huge door. There wasn't a plaque near it, but it was sort of obvious that it lead to someone very, very important. She shook her head. "I stay down here, more. I eat and sleep here. All my friends are here," she explained. "This way," she said, steering to the right and towards a door that said 'Mater Sanctus' above it.

Andria followed behind her not saying a word anymore and was now just looking around admiring the building. 'She has more friends... i hope they are nice'

Zulemia approached the door. She lifted her hand and knocked three times, then immediately dipped her head. Above the door, but below the plaque, a previously unseen eye opened up. It was like the eye of a lizard, with a dark orange sclera and a viscous looking slit pupil. It stared down at Zulemia and Andria, scrutinising. "Who is it?" A deep, disembodied female voice asked, sounding disinterested.
Zulemia lifted her head ever so slightly, so that her red eyes could be seen. "Zulemia Malum, servant of Mater Malum, Demon of Death. I have brought an Angel of Death to you, Mater Sanctus," she said in a hushed, rushed voice.

The voice chuckled. "You may enter," she said, and the door slowly swung open. "Have the angel enter first."
Zulemia looked to Andria, head still dipped. She held out a hand, gesturing for Andria to go ahead.

Andria does as she says and enters through the door first she glances behind her to see if mia was following or not as she did not want to be left alone.

Zulemia followed after Andria, but stayed behind her, like she assumed Mater Sanctus meant.

There was a short corridor, followed by a semi-circular room. There was a throne at the top of the room, coloured black with little golden accents. Sitting on the throne was someone Andria may recognise from legends of old; Mater Sanctus was Mahley Dissimulato, a Seraphim who dragged hundreds of angels to Hell; or so the story went. She was short, maybe only 5'2", and her skin was pale as snow. She had long, shimmery blonde hair rolled up into tight 1940's curls. Her six wings were a light grey colour, and appeared broken in multiple parts and even torn in some areas, though she showed no signs of pain.

There were two other people in the room; a fallen angel that Andria may recognise as one of the angels Mahley dragged down, named Amicus. He was tall, with light brown curly hair and his two wings were folded by his side, in a similar state to Mater Sanctus. He stood next to the throne, staring at Andria.
The other person in the room was a translucent young girl with curly ginger hair and big brown eyes. She was curled up at the foot of the throne and seemed to have eyes only for Mater Sanctus.
Mater Sanctus's red eyes scanned every inch of Andria, sizing her up. "What's your name, angel?" She asked, voice like velvet.

Andria remembered the legends of Mahley it made since now thats why she was refereed to as the mother of the fallen as for the boy their was faint recognition but she could not remember his name and the girl she had no idea who she was. "My name is Andira Alva." (Means dark curse c: ) Andria glances at the torn wings that had to be very painful yet she showed no signs of pain it was somewhat surprising.

Mater Sanctus smiled ever so slightly. "Amicus, fetch some chairs, yes?" She said.
Amicus nodded, not saying a word. He disappeared for a few seconds, and then came back with two uncomfortable looking chairs made of warm stone. He sat one of them down maybe only two or three feet away, and the other at the very back of the room. It was obvious what one was for whom.
"Please, sit, both of you," Mater Sanctus purred.
Zulemia squirmed a little, and took the chair at the back of the room, sitting with her head dipped.

Andria was very uncomfortable with being so close to them but sat in the chair away. She glances back at mia seeing that she was in the very back of the room. Andria returned her gaze back to mater Sanctus not saying a word waiting for her to speak.

Mater Sanctus crossed her legs, placing a hand on her knee. She snapped her fingers, and a clipboard and pen appeared in her hands. "Take notes, Amicus," she commanded, handing the fallen angel the clipboard. "What sort of angel are you?" She asked.

"I am a angel of death" Andria shifted uncomfortably in the chair. (Idk what else i can really put XD)

Mater Santcus nodded in approval, and Amicus scribbled something down on the board. "Tell me about your life in Heaven," Mater Sanctus prompted.

"Cant really call it much of a life... It wasn't that great all of heaven basically hated me since i can remember they would pluck the feathers from my wings. they would sometimes tie me up and throw me down a long hole leaving me down there for days.." Andria continued to 'describe' her life in heaven and none of it was pleasant in the slightest bit. Out of all the reasons for a angel to want to leave heaven she had certainly some of the most.
