Demon's Broken Promise Removed

He did not have to be flashy like these people. Asphodel was silent the whole fall. He was not going to show emotions. He was not to follow the chick and just laugh off the adrenaline. Asphodel was here on a mission and not on a vacation.

At about the appropriate acceleration and height, the hunter pulled on his chute and glided through the air. Here, he could see the vast expanse of evergreen and rocks. He frowned. He cannot see where the city was. Was it underground?

Landing gracefully, Asphodel removed the chute and followed the leader. He needs to keep a low profile. Flirting with Destrier or anyone would defeat that purpose.

Destrier smiled, "The city isn't too far from here, follow me." Abyssinia strolled along,
"How far?" She asked. Destrier hesitated,
"An hour."
"And that's not far?"
"Ma- Woman up.." He murmured, carrying across the vast field of mountains and grass.

Destrier's 'pet,' followed along, slight enhancements allowing it to survive the fall. "If we can get the bombs to explode, that'll cause Chaos, and hopefully, that'll be when we strike. When the demons are disorganised."

Asphodel took his phone out and studied the map. They were close to one of the territories but he could not recall the name of the clan. He only knows that two of the four clans were animals and that the other two were colors. He sighed.

He followed the group, looking closely at the structures. Hmm. Haven looks like a normal humam city. He frowned. Why are demons to adamant in following the human's footsteps? Why copy another species' living?

"We're getting close, ready up." Destrier shouted, several Ash Wolves pulled out their weapons, slightly scared of Destrier and Asphodel.

Abyssinia's hands boiled and bubbled. "I'll go scout around sir." And with that, she was gone, a very faint line of plasma in the air.
Destrier rolled his eyes, "Flashy much?" He asked Asphodel.

Waiting while seated in the back of the ship, Johnathan had crossed his arms while tapping his right index finger along his left forearm a few times during the entire trip. While the man had enjoyed joking around and being laid back most of the time, the group was heading to an entire city that was run by demons, this was not one of the times that he should be just taking things lightly.

An hour or so had passed and eventually as the sounds of his second spoke up to the group within the ship came up, Johnathan slowly stood to his feet just to approach the group. "Destrier, Abyssinia. Both of you, once you drop...head straight for the center of the city and get into contact with Shinji immediately. From his intel, the center of the city has slightly less commotion going on compared to the four sectors surrounding it. By no means are you to engage into any combat whatsoever--" As he ordered two of his troops, the sight of them already jumping out of the ship while in air had the man shake his head before directing his gaze over towards the Black Cross member. "You can choose what you do from here, I am not your superior...however, I'm sure your time in the Black Cross must have given you at least some general idea of what to do."

With that, Johnathan strapped himself with a parachute as well before jumping out of the ship to freefall. Placing a hand over his ear to get into contact with the pilot, he informed the pilot to get as far from Haven as possible but continue a sweep of the outskirts in case of needed air support. The barrier that was over the city was not something Johnathan had too much knowledge on so the idea of air support may not had been immediately realized, but it was clearly not going to be possible yet.

Once landed, the fact that Destrier and Abyssinia along with the Black Cross operative already on the move.
Johnathan made his own way towards the city. Rather than taking the direct route, he searched through the forest until he found a latch on the ground that revealed a sewer like system. "Hm, this might work." Even though it was not going to be the cleanest way to enter the city, it was at least a more quiet and hidden way inside.

Raymond Murray had the radio blasting as he lay on his back on a creeper bed. Trying to fix whatever was broken this time. He'd warped the breaks when he had driven straight into a demon. Claws catching as it went under the car. It was pretty spectacular. Fixing the car was less so. Though he enjoyed its part. It was cathartic. Things had an order. They worked here. There weren't any surprises.
He slid out from under the car and stood up. He spun on the ball of his foot and clicked at the car. "Aspect, turn it on." His heads up display lit up as the Artificial Intelligence connected to the onboard systems of the car. The deep thrum of the motor as it roared to life. He looked at the pin-up on the wall. Winked at it and grabbed the beer that was sitting next to the toolbox and took a swig. The car humming deeply in the background. He smiled at sat on the hood. Bopping to the music as he sipped his beer. He made a motion with his left hand and the car shut off. Standing up. He took another sip before tossing the empty bottle into the trash. "Aspect, a situation update, please. Am I needed anywhere?"
