"Hey, hey, sister, tell me that story again?"

"Which one, Chimera?"

"You know, the one you always tell me."

"You sure you don't want the fifth book of the Odyssey?"

"Nope."

"Alright alright. A long time ago, there was a great king of the Golden Age. His name was Cronus. A prophecy foretold that he would one day be overthrown by his youngest child..."

One night, above the Winter skies of the small town of Kuri-shi, a small, young girl floated down, swaying from side to side like a feather.

A young boy, with features and name that rooted his origins in this very land, was fated to meet her, as his hands were the ones she landed on.

She briefly opened her eyes, then her mouth.

"My name... is Saturn... what is yours?"

It was not long before her return to the land of dreams as the boy carried her home.

(The Interest Check might help fill a few holes. If you're a bit lost, feel free to expel a few questions.)

Princess Cronus is an anime-themed, Greek Mythology-based Modern Fantasy Roleplay.

The Roleplay primarily takes place in the small Japanese town of Kuri-shi, obscure, quaint and mysterious. The appearance of a mysterious girl that fell from the sky was just the start of a series of events - one might even say it was the trigger of it - that would occur in Kuri-shi. Mysterious figures would pop up, come, go and the like, and odd things akin to magic will happen. If this was a bigger town, it'd make the news by now.

Within this town, a bigger story is about to take place...

Kuri-shi

This is a fictitious town that will be the primary setting of the Roleplay, although there will be moving away from it. The Northern area of the town is very akin to a traditional Japanese suburb, and is where Kurihara School, which hosts years from Middle to High School, is located.

The Southern area of town has some evidence of Roman architecture, even having statues of Roman deities where one would expect Japanese shrines, with an interesting tale to boot. The scenery contradicts the mix of Japanese flora and some Japanese suburb housing. Sometimes, it feels as if the Northern and Southern side of Kuri-shi are two seperate communities, and that is the case. If you want to find out more, try asking the locals.

Kuri-shi has no Japanese shrines. The closest Japanese shrine is in the nearby town of Karasuma-shi.

Information regarding an expanded version of Kuri-shi will come in time.

Terminology - Playable Races

Deity - Divine beings that sit atop the heavens and control all that is below, sometimes they sit below if they are Underworld deities. In Greek Legend, there are various different kinds of gods, most notably the Titans & Olympians. This covers lesser gods that thrive on the earthly plane as well.

Divine Monster - a monster or beast that is one or a small number of generations below a deity, specifically the offspring of a god that is a beast or monster. Such beings encompass the children of Typhon, the Pegasus and other assorted critters from the bestiary of Greek Legends. At times, they themselves are considered deities. Like their parents, most are partially immortal, and will eventually return if 'killed'. While the gods with their vast divinity can assume a wide variety of shapes to blend in, Divine Monsters can only inherit a fraction of this polymorphic ability to shift between two base forms - their beast-like forms that they are generally depicted as in legend, and a more humanoid form, which resembles a human with traits from their beast form, such as fins, hooves, wings, animalistic ears or even a tail. If your beast form is already partially-human, like in the case of Chiron the Centaur, it will be much easier to suppress one's monster-like traits. Some of them are one-of-a-kind, such as the Chimera or the Sphinx, while others may be of a Daimone race, such as Chiron being a centaur.

Daimones - They are similiar, yet far apart. This term is used to encompass all the powerful mortal races that have appeared in Greek legends, such as Gryphons, Harpies, Centaurs & the like. Unlike Divine Monsters, they cannot hide themselves with a more human-like form through regular means.
If you are playing this, insert in the Race section 'Daimones - Insertracehere'.

Human - Well, what do you think? Also, human legends that have left the Underworld or Elysium through some means will still be considered human.

Terminology - Affiliations

Main duo
- our main hero & Saturn herself. Their main goal is to live normal lives while helping Saturn regain her memory.

Typhon's Alliance
- A faction lead by Typhon himself. The faction's primary goal is fueled on Typhon's primary desire, which is to bring Cronus back so that he can lead all in the Titanomachy and the return of the Golden Age. It mostly consists of the spawn of Typhon as well as any potential allies that might want a world without Olympians.

Olympians
- The 12 Olympians & many figures who are associated with them. They have many errands to run, but now, they are focusing on stopping Cronus.

Olympian Chosen
- A deity-chosen mortal, specifically of the Olympian variety. Introduced in & serves as antagonists for Arc 1.
They can be warriors that have their blessings, or even priestesses who tend to their shrines. They are devoted to their cause and will aid their patron deities in the current quest of finding Cronus.

Unaffiliated - Basically every other character. This will consist of mundane mortals who associate with the main cast, or mythical figures who just feel like frolicking about.

Over the course of decades, the various constellations have began to vanish from the night sky. That was part of the prophecy.
The prophecy of Cronus' return.

The first signs of the prophecy were the disappearing constellations that would only disappear at an alarming rate as the true day got closer.

When the true day had passed, the process would slow but continue. That was how the gods knew it had happened.

The Olympians knew that one could not alter a prophecy, only prepare for it.

The prophecy had also stated that the land that Cronus will step foot upon was distant from the lands of Greek Legends. All it said was that this land was the domain of a certain 'Amatheres of the Sun', whoever that was.

As such, it was decided that the first six Olympians - Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Demeter & Hestia, would select one of their worshippers each & bless them with some of their power.

It started with them, and it would end with them.

They can be warriors that have their blessings, or even priestesses who tend to their shrines. They are devoted to their cause and will aid their patron deities in the current quest of finding Cronus.

For Zeus' chosen, the reccommended abilities would consist of flight, strength and an extent of weather manipulation, to reflect Zeus' affinity with the skies.

For Poseidon's chosen, the reccommended abilities would consists of various water-based abilities & enhanced Equestrian feats.

For Hera's chosen, the reccommended abilities would be flight, strength, and an extent of weather manipulation.

For Demeter's chosen, the reccommended abilities would include ice manipulation to represent Demeter's sorrow, or outright plant manipulation, healing and such to represent her regular state.

Zeus', Hera's and Demeter's chosen would communicate with their patron god via any reflective surface, but Poseidon's chosen must specifically communicate via a body of water.

Hades has randomly chosen some random guy from the Underworld under the promise that this person will return to the realm of the living.

Hades' chosen would preferably possess powers relating to necromancy, or perhaps even some of Hades' weapons.

Hades' chosen communicates with Hades via reflective surfaces.

A long time ago, the Vestales were a select few maidens in Rome who help maintained the flame of Hestia, or Vesta as she was called in Rome. They were thought to have vanished, but a certain rather-isolated town in Italy continues this tradition. That is where the current Vestales live.

Hestia has chosen a Vestalis to aid in this. While the Vestales aren't the best at combat, Hestia has blessed this chosen one with the power of her flame.

Hestia's chosen will communicate with her patron god via a flame.

"My name is Saturn... can you tell me... yours?"

Name:
Saturn

Aliases:
Cronus, Chronos

Age:
Unknown

Physical Age:
14

Gender:
Female

Race:
Deity - Titan

Appearance:
Saturn's appearance is that of a young, Cacausian human, presumably Hellenistic. Her hair is wavy in tone and gold in hue, and her eyes sparkle a shade of blue. Her porcelain skin, dainty limbs and stature of a mere 1.4 metres give the impression that she is a doll.

Her outfit consists of a white dress with short, puffy sleeves. She is always seen with a medallion that has a ♄ emblem around her neck. This medallion is a pocketwatch that aids in her abilities.

Affiliation:
Main duo

Starting Personality:
Saturn is a kind, young girl who shies away from a lot of things, and prefers familiarity. She is not one to easily trust strangers and will tend to avoid those that she doesn't feel comfortable around. If she comes to trust someone as a family member or friend, however, she will want to hang around them. She is soft, and polite when need be.

Saturn is quite a crybaby and. Even though she can hold her own in a fight, she would prefer to run away and avoid trouble.

History:
As Cronus, many tales of the legendary Titan King and how he brought upon the Golden Age of humanity have been told, but the two most noteworthy tales are his rise and fall.

After castrating and slaying his tyrant father, Uranus, Cronus and his siblings, the generation of Greco-Roman gods known as Titans, decided to start a Golden Age where everyone would be equal. This era lasted quite a while, that was, until one day, his older sister and wife, Rhea, told him that he was, one day, going to be overthrown by one of his children.

Hearing this, Cronus devoured all his children but one - Zeus. Eventually, Zeus caused Cronus to regurgitate the other five - Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Demeter and Hestia. The first six Olympians then waged war against the Titans alongside any new allies, defeating them and casting them all into the depths of Greco-Roman hell - Tartarus. For some reason, Rhea didn't go down with them. No one knows why.

That was what caused Cronus to be so filled with vengeance for the Olympians.

After all these years, Cronus created a way out, and using this method, he escaped Tartarus and promised his fellow Titans that he would free them from the outside and start the second Titanomachy. Unfortunately, something strange happened and Cronus was reborn as a young maiden with anmesia - Saturn. Not knowing about her past as a Titan, she spends her life with a young man who catches her in his arms.

Abilities & Skills:
Saturn can control the flow of time, but not in a very controlled manner. She tends to do this subconsciously or when under stress. In time, she will relearn and take control of this ability. She can even control the 'time' of things, such as reversing an immediate incident that resulted in death. Generally, she can freeze or slow time down for up to 10 seconds under these conditions.

She can sprout a pair of raven wings from her back, blessing her with flight.

Due to her role as a Harvest Deity, Saturn's passive ability allows her to brighten plant life up wherever she goes - bring the wilted back to life and make the dormant bloom.

Saturn is able to 'consume' beings that have descended from Cronus. The closer the relation, the more effective the absorption. For example, a child of Cronus would be easily absorbed, while a grandchild would take a bit more effort, a great-grandchild moreso, so on so forth. This also allows Saturn to use their abilities.

As a Titan, she possesses the strength and dexterity of one. However, she has lost the full extent of her polymorphic abilities when gaining this body.

True Form Appearance:
According to the Olympians who were present during the Titanomachy, Cronus' Titan form resembled a mechanical bulk. The head area was a semicircle with gears and clocks of various kinds etched onto it, one of these clocks giving the illusion of a monoeye. The same could be said about the rest of the bulky main body, which resembled a machine. However, its hands were made from hourglasses that formed some sort of skeletal system. The sand that flowed through cared not for gravity. It was indeed an anachronistic form, fitting for the one who ruled over time itself.

True Form Additional Abilities:
Little to none is known about the true form of Cronus. Few wish to know.

Equipment:
Saturn has a pocketwatch that keeps her time manipulation abilities in check.

Saturn possesses one of two Legendary Harpes. This one in particular was the Harpe created by Gaia to castrate Uranus. It is a gunscythe made of Adamantine. It is able to become compact, resembling a small stick, before expanding to a large size of three metres. When the pocketwatch is inserted into a compartment, Harpe can fire 'time bullets' that create explosions upon coming into contact with a solid surface, as well as temporarily freezing the affected in time for about 8 seconds.

Other Information:
The personality of pre-anmesia Cronus is sealed within her as a form of split-personality.

Chimera

Aliases:
Kii-chan

Age:
Mellenia old

Physical Age:

Gender:
Female

Race:
Divine Monster

Appearance:
Chimera is a mere 1.39 metres tall. Her figure matches her height. She has feline ears in place of human ones, these ears appearing to be extentions of her hair. As an extension of her spinal cord, a scaly, ochre-hued reptillian tail that ends with a fang-bared head of a snake is present. No matter her outfit, she is never seen without her signature fluffy goat puppet on her left hand that she often calls 'Kii-chan #2'. Maybe it's permanently bound to her?
GlEjtuE.png

Her shoes and socks hide the true appearance of her feet, which end in some extent of white goat fluff and hooves.

Affiliation:
Typhon's Alliance

Starting Personality:
Chimera is a fun-loving, energetic little girl who enjoys playing around with others. She is also somewhat boastful, and often claims to be the best at things. She is not very good around boys aside from her own family, and tends to shy away from them, but gets along almost immediately with other girls. At the end of the day, Chimera just wants everyone to be happy.

History:
The Chimera was a terrible beast that plagued Lycia in the era of gods and heroes. She and her siblings were the sons and daughters and the Father of Monsters Typhon & the Mother of Monsters Ekhidna. She was born before Typhon's rebellion against Zeus, where his ultimate fate was imprisonment, and thus she and her siblings had to be raised by Chimera until they reached a certain age where they could venture out and wreak havoc. Chimera was the youngest of the brood.

Like all monsters, her destiny was to be slain by a hero - in this case, the mighty Bellerophon riding his signature steed, the Pegasus. She was suffocated when her flames engulfed Bellerophon's lead-tipped spear, which melted within her.

The Chimera was a Divine Monster, and while tales and legends would lead one to believe that she was mortal, her corpse degenerated into a human-like form with traits of her beastly true form. It was going to be a while before she could unleash her power once more, so she wandered about in her eternally young body. At some point, she had learned many skills from a great builder. This mentor, however, was ultimately slain by Daedalus due to the latter's envy. This was the trigger for Chimera to gain knowledge about carpentry, automatons, the art of the craft, and in this modern era, technology.

When she saw the constellations in the sky disappear, most notably the ones representing her fellow brothers and sisters, especially Hydra, she decided to crack some codes and do a bit of cross-referencing, discovering where the constellations were taking her.

Abilities & Skills:
Chimera is able to spew flames from her mouth, hand-puppet and prehensile tail's jaws. The latter two can light a small ember up to lead the way in times of darkness.
Chimera possesses the enhanced senses of the animals she represents.
With three different heads in three different parts, she can essentially see 360 degrees with few blind spots. The snake is always watching you...
It seems that her three heads(yes, even the puppet) are capable of acting independently, but are telepathically linked to allow for proper coordination.
Chimera possesses vast strength even in her false human form.
Chimera is immune to flames and intense heat, to the point that a dip in lava is no different to a hot spring trip for a person.
Her prehensile tail has poisonous venom. In her false human form, it is diluted to the point of being a hallucinogen or an agent of temporary paralysis.
Her hooves possess a great deal of kicking force.
In addition to those traits, Chimera has great knowledge in technology and engineering, developed from ancient craftsmanship that could grant automatons life. She has learned various software-based skills, such as programming and hacking, and may very well be capable of hacking Automatons crafted by Hephaestus himself.

True Form Appearance:
E3b38Sg.png

The Chimera of Lycia. A treacherous beast, many say.
Her basal body, the lion, is about twice the size of a mountain lion. The goat head is positioned to the left of the lion head, while the goat's hind and hooves comprise the creature. As a finishing touch, it has a serpent for a tail, much like most of its other brethren. Unlike the sandy, ochre-hued snake, this snake appears greener in appearance.

True Form Additional Abilities:
Her strength is enhanced manyfold.
Her additional abilities are primarily physiology-based, such as her great lion jaws and shredding beast claws.
Her flame-spewing abilities too are enhanced manyfold. There's also her powerful ram attack, where her goat head's horns aggresively smack into an opponent.
Her poison is now fatal, but is weak compared to Hydra venom. Mortals have a day before they perish. Its sole cure is pomegranates grown on Underworld soul, fermented by the saliva of the Chimera's goat head mouth.

Equipment:
Chimera's main equipment is her toolbox, filled with the tools that she uses to craft a great deal of things in her workshop in her house's basement.

Name:
Hydra

Aliases:
Dora-chan

Age:
Mellenia

Physical Age:
15

Gender:
Female

Race:
Divine Monster

Appearance:
Hydra is about 1.65 metres tall and has a slender build. Where a human would have ears, the Hydra would have blue fins. Her fingers and toes are slightly webbed, and her limbs have light signs and patches of bluish-white scales. Her feet are closer in appearance to her monstrous form's, complete with claws, but thankfully she hides them well with shoes. She possesses a tail that extends from her spine, its posture akin to a reptile's tail. However, its texture has more resemblance to a scaly fish or sea serpent, even having translucent, membranous tail fins at the end. It's a lot more obvious than her sister's serpent tail, extending to a mere 20 centimetres above ground and measuring the length of her lower body.

Affiliation:
Typhon's Alliance

Starting Personality:
I just want a good gist of what kind of person your character is. Ultimately I am aware that characters develop and true personality comes from the writing and heart of the writer.

History:
The Lernaean Hydra was most famous for her battle against the mighty Herakles. Before that, she was born from the Father of Monsters Typhon & the Mother of Monsters Ekhidna. She was ultimately defeated when she was prevented from regenerating via cauterization. And thus, her corpse burned and her poison was used to power Herakles' arrows.
She was then placed in the skies as a constellation, where she slumbered for eons before her stars fell from the sky in recent times. She, alongside her comrade Karkinos, that represented the constellation Cancer, was but one of many constellations that fell when the day of Cronus' rise from Tartarus drew closer. She had, by coincidence, landed in an unfamiliar land in an unfamiliar time, but she soon learned to adapt.

Abilities & Skills:
Hydra's blood and the poison of injected from her fangs is lethal poison that can potentially kill mortals, and cause unbearable pain to immortals. In lighter doses, it has diluted effects akin to hallucinogens and temporary paralysis agents.
Hydra can very easily regenerate, be it from a small cut or a chopped limb, or even half her body. As long as it isn't her heart that is pierced, or if fire isn't cauterizing her.
Hydra naturally possesses vast strength, leftover from an attempt to fully suppress it.

True Form Appearance:
7MmSodv.png

The Lernaean Hydra is a great, threatening beast and is known for being one of Herakles' twelve labours. The lethality of its poison is a very noteworthy trait. Its primary body is the 4 metres in length, and each head can go up to 8 metres. Each of its web-footed legs can extend to 2 metres, and finally, its fish-like tail that ends in a tail fin is 5 metres long. At its core, it is a sea serpent, or at least, an aquatic beast with sea serpent-like traits.

True Form Additional Abilities:
Aside from the general additional physiological traits, when Hydra is beheaded, two will grow in its place in mere seconds.

Equipment:
Hydra carries a bow & arrow set. For heavy offense, she will occasionally dip these arrows in her own blood by making a quickly-regenerating cut on her neck.
Hydra has a small crab keychain that she occasionally attaches to her schoolbag. This is the sealed form of Karkinos, the crab that aided her in the battle against Herakles. Its true form is a tank-sized red crab, with vast strength to boot that exceeds her false human form manyfold, yet is inferior to her true form's power.

Other Information:
She is a member of Kurihara School's Student Council and has been since her second year of Middle School, and is also a member of the archery club.

Gender:
Male

Race:
Human

Appearance:
Adrian is 6' tall, and muscular, though it can't be seen through his clothing. He is also riddled with scars all along his body, which again are covered up rather nicely. Always keep his hair in a ponytail.

Affiliation:
Olympian Chosen

Starting Personality:
Fun-loving and easygoing for the most part, with a tendency to crack jokes and be rather carefree. Despite this, he still has the air of a leader, and an aura of danger around him, and will make his authority known when necessary. Arrogant of his own abilities, and a tendency to underestimate opponents because of it.

History:
Adrastos was born in the time of the Ancient Greeks, to a prostitute mother and an unknown father. His mother made sure her son knew how to read and write, something practically unheard of for people of their station, and hoped for him to make a better life for himself than what he was born into. Unfortunately, she died when he was eleven years old, and he stowed away on a merchant ship in order to start life as a sailor. Fate took a turn, however, when said ship was raided by pirates, and, realizing what an opportunity lay before him, Adrastos fled the merchant boat for the pirates, taking with him some scrolls to prove his merit as a thief. He would have been killed on the spot, had it not been for the fact that what he had stolen was a recipe for a highly potent version of Greek Fire. The captain decided to hire on Adrastos as a cabin boy, and for years he worked his way up the ranks.

Despite being the youngest on the crew, Adrastos was able to charm everyone with his outgoing demeanor and ability to accomplish any task set before him. That, coupled with his literacy, got him the spot of first mate by the age of twenty-one, just as the captain perished in battle. Now leading the band of pirates, Adrastos became known as The Mediterranean Monster, and for seven years became famed for his exploits throughout the Mediterranean. In spite of the nickname given to him by merchants and law enforcement, Adrastos had a philantrophic side to him, generously giving any money he had taken to the lower classes, especially prostitutes amd slaves lookimg to purchase their freedom. For Adrastos, a life of adventure was what mattered most to him, not the wealth that came with it.

Seven years came and went, and Adrastos was shaping up to run an empire of pirates all his own. But one day, during what he had thought was a standard run-in with law enforcement, Adrastos made the fatal mistake of underestimating his opponent, and he and his crew were defeated. Adrastos exchanged his life for his crews, offering to to take the punishment for them all, and took a small boat out to transport himself to the main boat of the enemy nearby. However, once he had gotten a safe distsnce between the two, he used one last trick: the Greek Fire he had brought to the ship years ago. He and his bost burst into flames, buying his crew time to escape, and creating a funeral pyre for himself.

Upon death, when his soul was brought for judgement, it was unclear whether his piracy earned him a spot in Tartarus, or his philanthropy earned him a spot in Elysium. Ultimately, it was decided that both cancelled the other out, and Adrastos was sent to the Asphodel Fields, to lose himself for all of eternity.

As Fate would have it, however, Adrastos had a bit of a lucky streak.

Adrastos was brought to Hades, given animal blood to retain his true self for a moment, and was given the offer to return to life and aid Hades in his cause. Adrastos eagerly jumped at the opportunity, and was given the name Adrian Castellanos and sent to Kuri-shi to stay undercover. Adrastos, now Adrian, is the newest PE Teacher at Kurihara School, starting his second life over on land.

Abilities & Skills:
Charismatic, and able to blend in seamlessly in Kuri-shi due to his looks and easygoing personality. Physically fit as well, and proficient in the sports he teaches students. Literate, though that isn't much of a feat nowadays.

Combatwise:

-Necromancy. A skill given to him by Hades, Adrastos has the ability to summon a shade using his bident (see Equipment), and will summon a former member of his crew, as they were tied to him in his past life. Randomly by dice roll, who will be summoned will be an archer, a swordsman, or a spearman. They only remain until the blood on the bident is dried up.

-Fire. As Greek Fire was his specialty in life, Adrostos has the ability to use it again, but only when the bident is bloodied. This fire, which burns a bright blue, is blessed with the flames of Tartarus, so anything lit with it cannot be put out by mortal means. Only magic, or otherwise otherwordly methods can dispel these flames.

Equipment:

Bident: A weapon symbolic to Hades, Adrastos wields one that doesn't do much...until it draws blood, that is. Once the bident has blood on it, it will activate, creating two effects: lighting on fire, and the ability to summon the dead. The weapon can only work if blood other than Adrastos' gets on it, so he cannot activate it himself. Furthermore, the blood is used up as the fire burns or as the shade attacks, and all effects will be lost unless Adrastos keeps fueling his magic by keeping the bident bloodied.

-Skeleton Key. A key given by Hades, as keys are a symbol of Hades'. This key can open any lock that has not been enchanted in any way. If a lock has been enchanted at all, however, it is useless.

Other Information:
Owns an apartment in the Southern part of town, while working at the school in the Northern section.

@Yun Lee

You're accepted.

@MelodyMeister

While I actually do like the application you've provided, I have a few things to say about it.

For starters, I'm unsure if it can actually fit into the world the Roleplay has to offer.

she became a seer and took care of the previous God of Knowledge's shrine. The God of Knowledge was a new role and fairly obscure, so there have been only three Gods of that type, including her.

As mentioned, this is heavily Greek Mythology-based. If we're taking from that, there are likely more than three gods of that type and title, not including her, and all with known, revealed names. If we're considering the possibility of other Pantheons existing, three is a speck of a number.

Physical Age:
Around two hundred...

... Kitty looks quite young, around 15-16. Her eyes are light blue, and due to her seer power, seem rather cloudy and vacent.

Not actually too big a deal but 'True Age' is meant for... well... true age and how old she looks is meant for physical age.

Not sure if I can really further comment on this now that I've said that I'm not sure if it actually fits into the world this Roleplay has to offer.

Right now, I'm unsure if I should reject and declare that this doesn't fit or if I should have a long ponder at this and see how this can be altered to fit into the world established without too much deviation.

Would a Minotaur count as a divine monster? Just asking for clarification in that regard so I don't have to waste time on a CS that won't be accepted.

I'd say that the closest it would go would be Daimones, based on the more immediate legends available.

Just a travelling human, I guess.

This one took a long time to do, So it'll take a while until I sumbit another one.

I also debated Perseus because of the Fate Apochrya(sp) anime that came out recently. Wasn't that great but man Perseus was a badass in it.

Kardia is 5'7 and muscular, with a form fitting shirt to show off said physique(he claims it intimidates his foes.) He has self inflicted scars scattered along his body as a result of his training. Believing that he needed to be at the peak of his potential, any perceived 'failure' was met with a dagger to a spot of his body picked at a complete random. In the hopes that he would learn from the experience and do better. He has dirty blonde hair and piercing blue eyes.

Affiliation:

Starting Personality:
Having been raised by an abusive father who believed Kardia to be 'cursed' due to the blonde hair he had when neither of his parents were blonde(his mother had cheated on her husband and claimed Kardia to be his son when her suitor/Kardia's true father declined to being a father) Kardia's adopted a rather negative view on life. Being chosen by the king of gods himself has only slightly changed this. Believing he finally has somewhat of a use beyond figuratively and literally bashing his body against the nearest hard object.

Don't joke around him. Not that he'd hurt you, but...he just wouldn't get them.

History:
"The boy is cursed, Ililsandra! Look at the hair upon his head! It's as yellow as the sun above yet as filthy as the dirt on the sole of my foot! This cursed beast is NOT any son of mine!"

Words like those were exchanged rather often around the Sidrou household. Beatings, often violent ones, ensued and left young Kardia with a loathing not towards either of his parents. The father who abused him without a care in the world or the mother who was too frightened and ashamed of herself to stop him. But rather the hate was reflected inwards as Kardia felt that if he hadn't been born, perhaps this all could have been avoided. Peace might have prospered between his mother and father.

Some nights he even wondered if he really was cursed as his father screeched. Often standing at the cliff side near their home, the temptation to jump and see if a cursed boy would swim or float lingered around in his thoughts. As he grew older, the temptation to let his father touch and abuse him as he pleased quickly faded away with time and finally, Kardia lashed out. Knocking the feeble old man aside, Kardia turned and left his home with little but the clothes on his back.

"Did you see the look in the boy's eyes when he struck me?! HE'S CURSED! HE MUST BE, I KNEW I WAS RIGHT!!!"

There was little left for Kardia to do other than test himself. To see if his father's words actually were worth merit. Running in the woods, climbing the tallest trees that he could find. He did whatever he could to get stronger and to see what limits someone like him could possibly have. It wasn't until he was chosen as Zeus's chosen one that he finally felt a sense of purpose that he'd been missing. To live for and possibly die for a god. Making his way to Kuri-shi, he has taken up a job as a groundskeeper, something he felt spoke to him personally. A job that didn't involve too much social interaction and he could be allowed for the majority of the day to plan and keep to himself.

Not bad for a supposedly 'cursed' boy eh?

Abilities & Skills:
Having spent a good chunk of his life training and enduring beatings left and right, Kardia is not one to bow down to pressure, no matter how big or small. Meaning any conflicts that have a potential of boiling over won't get under his skin and he'll keep his cool for the most part. He makes it a habit to keep himself in ship and in order not to disturb passerby, he puts makeup on the scars on his arm showing a somewhat decent skill with makeup and disguises.

Combatwise:

-Flight: Just as the skies are Zeus's domain, so too has Kardia been granted the pleasure to traverse them as he wishes. It takes a bit of a start however for him to go from hovering slightly to blasting off to straight up flying.

-Electricity: Due to being Zeus's element of choice, it's also been granted to Kardia. It can be manipulated in a variety of ways going from giving someone an annoying zap to coating himself in the stuff to act as a sort of defense and he can also shoot it outwards to electrocute any poor fools standing too close.

Equipment:

Zweihander: Just as the name implies it's a zweihander and due to his training, Kardia has taught himself to be able to wield it effectively with both hands(in contrast to characters like Siegfried and Nightmare from Soul Calibur who wield their zweihander like swords with one hand)and he can even channel his electricity through it.

16

Gender:
Female

Race:
Human

Appearance:
160 cm tall, reddish-orange hair, green eyes, thin build with small bust. Naturally curly hair that she likes to wear in braids tied with colorful ribbons. She looks like she could snap in half if you hug her too hard.

Affiliation:
Hestia's Chosen

Personality:
Hadrianna is very compassionate and extroverted. Although she has fun around others, it can take awhile for her to open up to them. However, if someome is hurt or in need, she will put aside her feelings to help them.

She is also curious to a fault. She doesn't open up easily, but is eager to learn more about the people and world around her. She will stick her nose in where it doesn't belong. Usually, this is so she can learn who to trust and find out if others are in need. Sometimes curiosity gets her into trouble that she has to talk her way out of

The most important thing to Hadriana is her devotion to Hestia. Her discipleshp is the reason she is eager to help those around her, but it brings conflict when her curiosity drives her away from the hearth she is meant to protect. Hestia calling her to travel to Kuri-shi was a dream come true.

History:
Hadrianna spent most of her life with the Vestales. She was orphaned at a young age, but the Vestales took her in and raised her as a maiden of Vesta. She was given basic education by the older women in the town. She was raised to be kindamd learned how to take care of a home and a hearth. She also picked up some basic first aid skills, mostly from getting herself hurt by her own curiosity.

About a year ago, she began to notice the signs of Hestia's gift. Candles around her would light and snuff out suddenly, and she would hear a voice in her head when near Hestia's fire. Eventually, she discovered that her powwrs were coming from "Lady Vesta" and that she would soon have a purpose. That purpose required her to travel to a faraway land.

She packed her things and got on the first boat headed towards Japan. She moved to Kuri-shi and applied go to school at Kurihara. Now she attends class and waits for her duty to Hestia to come from the flames. Every night, she lights a candle amd listens for a message from Hestia.

Abilities:
Hadriana can create and manipulate flames, provided there are proper materials nearby to sustain the fire. (Basically, something to burn.) If a fire is present, she can use it to communicate with Hestia, who she refers to as Lady Vesta.

Equipment:
An exessive perfectly reasonable amount of hair ribbons, a box of matches, a make-up kit, some snacks, some bandages, all held in a completely messy neatly organized purse.

Other:
She's a little bit behind the other students, due to not having a formal education and not being native to Kuri-shi. She does her best, but won't always succeed.

Sorry @Crow but Im gonna need to drop out of this rp orz. A bit more than I can chew atm

@Crow
Am I allowed to play a Dryad or Siren? What race would they fit in?

They'd be among the Daimones.

Also, Dryad's might need a bit of justification on how they got to the setting given their grounded nature. Daimones are not native to the setting, after all.
