Ardin's School of the Elements/ASE (Discussion thread)

A. You're not a terrible GM.
B. Just take it step by step.
C. Take your time and work with the players to make sure all those who are running off are on the same page.
D. Anyone who tries to rush you, ignore them because you're the GM and can take the time you need to make a great RP.
 
I don't think that's the case with everyone. I for one, was trying too work my way around 'being new' and getting sorted because thought that that was just for the 11 year olds, and I was correct. sorry that was badly worded, ill word it a different way if your confused xD
 
Which is true, we were and can be confused. However, that is never a reason to simply give up. After all, numerous GMs, if not all GMs, have confused their players at least once. If all of them walked away after doing that, we'd have pretty much only terrible RPs. As such, treat this as an experience to grow. A chance to step back and get everyone on the same page. If some people keep shooting off without paying heed to what you've said, PM them directly. Work out the issue with them one-on-one. At that point, you've done all you can do to clear up the situation. Which means that, if they again go off on tangents and ignore everything you've tried to work with them on, it's not your fault. At that point, it's fully on them. And, at that final point, it's time to consider removing them from the RP.

Heya guys, so someone suggested making a list of the order to reply in, and I decided to do that, just in the order that people first replied to the Entrance Hall/Sorting Room thread. Does it look okay?

Im a little confused what its for, do you mind wording it a slightly different way?
