Greetings. My name is Teeloffel and before you ask; I'm not German.

These days I've been struck with a severe case of boredom. I can't really do much, games are boring and starting new projects this close to school opening up again seems irrelevant.

I want to be a member of this community because my fingers and brain is aching to write some interesting, long and complex stories. I want to try out ideas that i''ve had in my head for long (and tried to communicate through other means, such as short stories or just captions on an Instagram page).

I'm fairly interested in many many things, such as cinema. I love all of David Lynch's work as well as Kubrick. Please ask me more about that :)

I hope to be a valuable member of this community, I'll try to be as active as my other duties let me.

Best Regards - T

I personally like to include Romance, Fantasy, Drama, Paranormal, and Historical. (Everything can be mixed and matched.) Or a sweet heart warming slice of life. I'm a pretty easy to please person. I tend to start with a basic pairing and then plan it out further.

One roleplay I have is essentially a fictional Chinese palace drama revolving around a maid and her interactions with the Princes (competing for the throne) We can plan just about anything really.

That sounds interesting! I hope it was a good story/roleplay! I personally am not really especially invested in a genre but anything that's not purely real life (meaning it bends some rules of reality). Do you have any ideas you'd like to explain? If not I can surely give you some, if you wish to roleplay with me :D

Hahaha, I actually realized I have no concrete ideas but rather just things I'd expand on as I begin writing. I LOVEEE dragons and super powers so something that's a mix of MHA or Worm or simply media where powers are granted to the population and then we just take it from there (but set some ground rules). I also love Dragonball Z and how they just got stronger and their transformations change and it just escalates. Sorry for the weird formating :)

I'd go for something with dragons or superpowers

I remember there was this subreddit where we would roll for a superpower and then just roleplay in a city/country. This was really freeform though so there weren't any rules really except for overpowered characters. We can definitely include dragons since I think we should agree on the basic concepts of world-building first.

I also wanna try something new. I have two "genres"ish like for example a "Goodfellas"/mafia/gangster type roleplay where someone joins a very complex gang, maybe some of the more powerful ones could have powers or something.

The other one is a more reality bent situation. If you know of the infinite Ikea and "The Backrooms" type settings. A place of mystery where the laws of physics don't apply at all. There are monsters, there are strategies to surviving and it is definitely not safe.

I also like this idea

Maybe this could be the best way to design the world/story. Would you prefer a "always existing" or "unnaturally occurring" powers? One example of always existing would be Harry potter and naturally occurring powers would be something like JoJo where arrows etc give you powers.

If superpowers prefer already existing rather than unnaturally occurring.
Yes, I'm talking about superpowers.
Now how would this affect the world, in your opinion? I don't like a world where 50% have superpowers but something like 1>%, which would be something like 500 people in a city of 50.000. Does this seem like a good number to you? I'd love to hear some thoughts about this, and the rules of the world

I think I agree with you on the numbers yes, though I might lean to it even being a tad rarer to have powers and not a lot of people believe that there are people with superpowers if that makes sense.

yes. I'm not a fan of a world with oversaturated amounts of superpowers like DC and Marvel where there are SOOO many sources of powers and easily gained powers as well. Let's settle for 0.5% of the population.

Now that I'm approved I can make a post on the bulletin board and we can discuss this further.
