Tell me 5 things about you.

1. Full time veterinary technician
2. Loves video games (Sims, Zelda, Genshin, random games that I buy on steam).
3. Not many friends in the "real world" (how do you make friends as an adult??) so definitely looking forward to making friends here.
4. I'm way to shy for my own good and have really bad social anxiety.
5. I've recently started identifying as Pagan with a Christian background. It's been interesting.

1. I live on a ranch. This makes me kinda isolated so I'm online a lot during my free time.
2. I love, love, love video games. Especially horror games and RPGs. (All time favs are RE0-CV, Devil May Cry, Tales of Series, Silent Hill).
3. I am getting back into drawing to resume selling art and paintings. I also make bath products for fun cause they smell oh so good.
4. I am a sushi addict.
5. I love thunderstorms.

Five Author’s Notes On The Author Himself:
1. I’ve rode a horse with some 300 other riders in a day-long Calvagada through rural Brazil.
2. I am bilingual, and learned Brazilian Portuguese through full immersion.
3. As a child I watched movie We’re Back! A Dinosaur Story and convinced myself I would have to run away to the circus as a rite of passage before I could grow up. So I started learning what I thought were “circus-centric” skills like walking on my hands, riding a unicycle, and juggles.
4. One of my high school plays was a court room drama; I received an award for best actor for my two roles: the plaintiff, a victim of a mugging, and the defendant, who committed the mugging.
5. The longest I’ve spent underwater was over 4 minutes during a near-death experience; as a child I came to the aid of a younger kid who could not swim. I kept them above the water as they struggled, with their legs wrapped around my neck and shoulders, forcing me underwater for the entire ordeal.

I sure wish I could play an instrument! When you can play and sing well, you can inspire and move people! What are some of your favorite songs to play? Do you ever perform?
Also, what video games do you play? I’ve only recently started getting back into gaming.

Yes, music is quite the catalyst. I used to have dreams of performing for people, but unfortunately life gets in the way sometimes. A couple of my favorite guitar songs to play are "Bodysnatchers" by Radiohead and "Rain. Sun. Gone." by Mudvayne.

I used to be a bigtime console gamer, but now all I play are mobile games for the time being anyway. I play Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, Call of Duty: Mobile, trying out this idle game Crush Them All, I somehow got addicted to a chicken farming game called Egg, Inc. lol, and I play CarX Drift Racing 2 which is amazingly realistic and has pretty good mechanics and graphics (I play this one with my SteelSeries controller).

Never too late to get back into something you love doing.

For sure, I’ve tried learning to play the piano, the guitar, and the ukulele but it’s not in the cards for me. I really just play one or two chords and improv jokes whenever I get to mess around with a musical instrument.

Those are some good games. I’m really into decision-based, story-driven games. I’m obsessed with Detroit: Becoming Human and Human Rain. I really love to play Injustice, too - superhero’s combined with Mortal Kombat? Yes, please! I actually just played a 1st person shooter for the first time the other night. I was surprised I enjoyed it so much, the types of games where you’re fighting a war, or just running around shooting other players have never interested me.
Yeah, I’ve seen the trailers and looked at the graphics for that new CarX game- it really is stunning to see how far graphics have progressed. Those cars look so detailed it’s like staring at a somehow enhanced photograph.

Some of the best comedians use only a few chords and joke around the whole time. I play other instruments, but guitar is definitely my favorite.

I saw the preview of Becoming Human. It looked pretty good. Never heard of Human Rain. I honestly couldn't really get into Injustice. I used to love Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter and King of Fighters, but fighting games just don't feel the same to me anymore.

It is amazing how far mobile gaming has come, that's for sure.

Oops, that was a typo- I meant the video game Heavy Rain (it’s older and I think it’s made by the same company who made Becoming Human later) but unlike Becoming Human it’s about catching a serial killer and solving a murder mystery so our main story’s hero can save his kidnapped child.
I liked Mortal Kombat growing up but don’t play it much anymore, I do go back to Injustice every so often, if not just to play as Black Manta. And I prefer written roleplay or in-person table top roleplaying like D&D over video games anyways. Plus, I remain loyal to GameCube and N64- I rebuke both the Xbox and the PlayStation! Hahaha.

Ah, Heavy Rain. Yeah, that seemed like a very interesting story and game. Kind of reminded me of The Indigo Prophecy.
I definitely prefer written RPs to video game RPGs. Man, I haven't got to play D&D in so many years. That would be a lot of fun to do again.
I never did like the GameCube because of the controller, but I loved the N64 back in the day. Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 64 were my favorites. I was always a PlayStation fan myself, and stayed loyal to the consoles all the way up through PS3. After I got rid of my PS3, I haven't owned a game console since then.

  1. I’m a gaming nerd; I love adventure games and story games, pretty much anything with a good story line or adventure and action.
  2. I used to watch a lot of anime in my middle school and high school years but I haven’t found anything I’ve liked lately (don’t be afraid to shoot me ideas!).
  3. Im actually really shy until you get to know me and Im open to meeting new people and make new friends to talk too!.
  4. Im currently in school working to becoming pediatric nurse.
  5. I have border collie named Odie from the movie/show “Garfield.

A great new anime you should definitely check out is The Promised Neverland on Netflix. It’s honestly an incredible piece of art, a psychological masterpiece.

What’s The Indigo Prophecy?
Yeah, I miss my old D&D group, we played every week with consistency for about two years before half of moved (life goes on, ya know) and now we’re all spread out across the states. I appreciate those times because it is truly hard to get 4-6 individuals together once a week and boy did we make magic when we made our schedules work. We became heroes.
Smash Bros is a childhood favorite of mine, all of the Mario Parties were big at my house, too. GameCube has a special place in my heart- I’m a huge Pokemon fan and my favorite Pokemon game, Gale of Darkness, got released on GameCube. And on N64, I never got tired of playing Pokemon Snap.
I’d prefer PlayStation over Xbox, if I had to choose.

The Indigo Prophecy an interactive story, guided by your decisions that was originally released on PS2 I believe. Almost like a movie where you get to decide what path the characters take and how the story unfolds.

I was big Pokemon fan when I was younger, but I eventually lost interest.

I definitely miss having a group of bright individuals to play D&D with. Some of the best fantasy adventures I've ever taken part in were in D&D.

1. I often play Wild Rift in between posts.

2. I prefer the high fantasy genre when I roleplay (specifically when I am making one). I also like action, drama, and tragedy.

3. I am a semi-literate roleplayer.

4. I write very slowly.

5. Here is an example of my style (as I am here to advertise myself to others of this community):

Thank you very much for reading :)

Hey, you seem like you have some talents in writing that I am lacking in. I would love to write more high fantasy stuff but I always end up leaning on the supernatural and paranormal themes and then bring my setting back to a modern time/place because it’s safer.
I’d love to write some high fantasy stuff with you and learn from reading your writing. If you’d like to write some shorter 1x1 stuff with me, I’d really appreciate your experience and your wisdom. :) Just inbox me if you’re interested and able! :)

1. I'm obsessed with Star Wars. I mentioned it earlier in my intro, but I'll expand on it a bit. My favorite character is Ahsoka Tano. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed with how she turned out in the Mandalorian, but since Dave wrote it, I trust him and I'll see what he has planned.
2. Like I said in my intro, I'm starting to get into other fandoms. For instance, I love Marvel, specifically the X-Men. Something about them really makes me love them.
3. I'm autistic, and I also have ADHD. My sister is the only one of my four siblings who is neurotypical.
4. Now I'm gonna go into a couple random facts about me. I can spell micropachycephalosaurus from memory, and I can also read and write Aurebesh. I'm very fluent in writing it, but I'm still working on my reading speed in it
5. I can pick my nose with my tongue. Yes, it's disgusting, but it's an interesting talent that has shocked many of my classmates and teachers

  1. My bookmark list is a sprawling, eldritch gestalt of my many interests, records of wise-seeming articles, and heartbreak from abandoned pieces of fanfiction/webcomics.
  2. I am on a quest to play every Dungeons and Dragons race one time with a named character, for a full session. My records are disorganized, but my most-used race is Lizardfolk (at two); other races I’ve used for at least one session are- halfling, half-orc, elf (huh, twice now that I think about it), dwarf, gnome, aasimar, firbolg (just for RP), githzerai, warforged and goliath. I’m currently struggling to make a new level one character that matches the strange stat rolls I got. Leaning towards Shifter next. One of my longest running, consistent games is an ongoing My Hero Academia game with an “elf” (mutation quirk) fighter who can make objects transition from 2D, to 3D, and back as his subclass.
  3. I love the lore of World of Warcraft and Blizzard entertainment’s older franchises. It was the first game I tried roleplaying in, so I have a big thank-you to the creators of RP-addons for WoW.
  4. I primarily exercise by walking my dog, but I enjoy rollerblading when the weather is nice.
  5. When I was little I wished I had a… complex-sounding name… specifically like Frankenstein. Haaaahhh… Childhood-me, you were a strange one. My creativity has changed a lot over the decades, but I’m glad it returned in full-force after surviving higher education.
