Gen curled around her pillow, rubbing her arm slowly and trying to sleep, to no avail. She quietly sighed, turning away from the wall and sitting up, whispering. "Is anybody up?"
"Hmm, no reason..." She smirked to herself, hoping nobody present knew of the historical significance of lavender. "-yeah, "Oar House" is really, uh...rhymable. Easy to mock."
Genesis sat on the bed quietly, crossing her legs and tugging down the cuffs of her leggings. Aithne seemed interesting, to say the least.
"How about...the Lavender Cabin? I like that name." She grinned to herself, leaning on her elbow.
"I've been to camps before, church camp primarily, but I've never been here before. Brother came here a few years ago, and my mom thought it would be good for me to go as well." She began setting her things up, shoving her still-full suitcase under the bunk bed. "I'll deal with that later."
"Oh...kay. Sorry for asking..." She pursed her lips with a tight smile and pulled out her sleeping bag, rolling it out on her bed. "Have you been here before?" Genesis had always made friends naturally, not used to being treated so coldly. But hey, she may have her reasons.
Genesis watched Aithne as she avoided eye contact, setting her bag down on the bottom bunk she'd deemed her own and unzipping her bag.
"Parents making you come, huh?" She joked, attempting to cut the tension.
