RULES :)
Hey, thanks for being considerate enough to read this, I appreciate it.
As you may know, I’m Aoi. If you are reading this then you might be interested in roleplaying with me, and to that I say: Huzzah! I can't wait!

Let's start with my rules for 1x1 roleplay.

Writing style
I only roleplay in literate form, sorry. Things like *nuzzles* or *she walks up and down the hallway* make me want to vomit. I know that sounds strong for just a writing style, but it seriously bothers me. It’s a story stopper and it gets annoying when I’m writing lengthy stuff because I’m interested and you’re all like *RAWR* XD. I will have you know when I’m not in a ‘serious’ (I use serious very lightly because roleplay shouldn’t necessarily be taken seriously) roleplay, and I’m in something OOC I will just in all caps without ** say basic actions for ironic purposes. It’s just easier to convey how I’m feeling through a screen, COUGHS.
Another thing, for every response I want you to find a purpose for it. If the sentence you’re writing has no relevance to the story or won't become relevant later on, then it’s unnecessary and you shouldn’t write it. Things like “her parents are dead” when the story never mentions them or she isn’t talking about it with someone is irrelevant, since you’d never really know that information in real life out of nowhere if “she” didn’t tell you herself. And I know exactly what you’re thinking! Aoi!!!!!! Character development!!!! To that I say: Go frick yourself. That information isn’t important. Unless she is talking about it (for ex. Opening up and talking to a character, which is a very important scene), it’s not important! Even if the death of her parents is the reason she’s reserved and quiet, I didn’t ask for that information so you just splashing it in there for no reason or purpose is ridiculous and you should be ashamed!
G A S P ok sorry for going on and on.

Writing length
Depending on the roleplay I ask for at the very freakin least a paragraph. This means 4-5 sentences. I generally write 2 paragraphs worth of information, one if the only thing to move the story forward depends on the other player.

Example for the bare minimum of writing:
Linda places her bag on the table of her living, letting out an audible sigh of distress. Her hand glides on the edge of the table as she allows herself to lean on it. Putting her weight on the table allows for her to exchange the pain in her ankles with the one sprouting in her wrist. She’s had weak joints since she was very young, and walking around too much made it unbearable to walk. Right when Linda was about to stand up straight again once more, she hears a knock on the door.

Example of my usual routine:
Linda places her bag on the table of her living room , letting out an audible sigh of distress. She had just been chased by a crazy man that claims to have known her, and it had somewhat creeped Linda out. Thoughts like ‘Who on earth could that be’ and ‘Who do I know like that’ ran through her head, things coming in faster than they were going out. Her hand glides on the edge of the table as she allows herself to lean on it. Putting her weight on the table allows for her to exchange the pain in her ankles with the one sprouting in her wrist. She’s had weak joints since she was very young, and walking around too much made it unbearable to walk. In fact if Linda were to push herself to much, her joints could give out completely Suddenly she started to panic, ‘God damn it I lead him here. I lead him straight to my house I’m an idiot!’. Though she was sure she lost him back at the convenience store she couldn’t be sure, and that alone made her irritated. This whole experience was extremely inconvenient. Right when Linda was about to stand up straight again once more, she hears a knock on the door. “FUck” she sputtered out loud as she made her way to the front door. Furious she violently swings it open, “What do you want?!”.

NSFW
I'm ok with it. I don't want it to be the focus of the roleplay though. Ever. If it becomes an issue I’ll bring it up only once before ceasing the roleplay session entirely.
Response time
I expect 1-2 replies at the very least per day. I will do the same. Inform me of anything that might delay responses or call for a pause in the roleplay session. I am very understanding as long as you inform me of it.

Onwards to the other rules that don't necessarily apply to roleplay :”)

Messaging
Do not message me with nothing to say. I will ghost you if you don't participate in conversation or you instigate something without a goal.

Respect
Be nice to me, I don't tolerate people. I only talk to people I like talking to, and if I don't like talking to you, I won't. Also, if you don't like my character because “they're a bad person”, I couldn't possibly care less. Hate the game not the player.

Language
Curse to your heart's content! I don't care, I curse sometimes too. Talk casually, I dont mind. Treat me like a friend youre texting. As long as we arent roleplaying, I dont mind.

Conversation
Please for the love of all things holy participate. Dead end conversations make me want to stop interacting completely.

♥ And with that you've read it all!

Thanks for that, it means a lot. ♥
