    The Rules of Writing

Thanks for sharing this! I marked 'Good' but I would have said on this choice 'most' or 'many' instead of 'all' ... ;)

Why did you begin to do roleplaying?

Started RP'ng with D&D many years ago, then would write out character actions and roleplay them with my brother when we played board wargames like Squad Leader, B17, and Patton's Best. These characters would take on a life of their own and their stories would turn into bigger stories, etc. I got...

    Crossovers Between Roleplays

I've crossed over RPs for characters. My rock n roll musician Darrell has been in a lot of 1x1 RPs and I have used them in filling out his character bio. I've on occasion used scenes from an older RP in a newer RP, like being in the same location in different RPs and at different times, etc.

    any books to recommend?

I have to recommend Glen Cook's The Black Company. Its quite a good mix of medieval fantasy and some sci-fi with modern aspects of a Mercenary soldier of fortune company of men and women. Also, the lovely noir detective Phillip Marlowe, written in books by Raymond Chandler... love the style.

New User A Weatherworn Traveler Wanders In

The Shadowy figure wanders into the library and sits down at an out-of-the-way table. He gets his bottle of ink, a quill, and a parchment roll out of his bag and thinks about where exctly to begin... Hello! I'm new to this town and hope to stop and rest here for a time. I have journeyed long to...
