Deus Ex Machina The Abandoned Factory

Beeswax could taste the iron in his mouth. A rough shard of shrapnel just tipped his lip, leaving an open cut. With a contort of his lips, the wound teased further, spilling more of his blood upon the grime below. Beeswax flared with anger, rising from his prone position, just to catch the...

Deus Ex Machina The Abandoned Factory

It was clear that the situation wasn't defusing. A breath of silence emanated through the cold air. The automaton gripped a small length just-revealed rebar, picking it up from the ground. Now, a distraction. Arc pivoted upon his front-facing leg, extending his right ar and spinning his chest...

Deus Ex Machina The Abandoned Factory

Eyes alike a cat, Beeswax blinked with emphasised iciness, with the invisible words poised upon his lips, reading clearly 'So what?'. He was still taken off-guard, but he did not let that take influence upon his features. The man adjusted his glove, carrying with it a wordless whisper, with a...

Deus Ex Machina The Abandoned Factory

Careful steps filled the building, was it night, was it day? None of that mattered to the trained eye of Beeswax. Moving through the rubble with graceful steps, he dodged and weaved, making his way towards a shiny item, a faulty bronze turbine, caught underneath several tons of hardened...

    Best Games No One Remembers

Armored core? I use to play it! It's a pain getting a hold of some of the copies though. My ps2 can't run the ones I bought cus they're from the US, lol. I only really played nine breaker, never finished it due to its draconian difficulty.

    Smarmy, pen-twiddling

A line of heads sprouted from the sand. The tumbleweed of voices rolled over to each, terse whispers and frantic clambering. The sand twisted and coiled, fickle to the wind. The armoured cap was thrust in quickly, heated under the desert sun, beating down their pails skin. One quivered, two...

    The meaning of life.

As a traditional nihilist, I mean, old-old nihilism, I believe our goal in life, is to find the meaning of life. Don't ask for it, because you no-one can give you the right answer. That's a question for yourself. I personally believe life is a constant war between utilitarianism and hedonism. We...

    Is the paranormal world real?

I'd love to say I do, but as a realist, I think it's important to assess that ghosts are most likely ideas passed down by our ancestors over superstitions they could not explain, leading to this idea of the supernatural in modern culture. What our ancestors could not understand through their...

    Accurately protective outfits?

A bit of a thread necro, but for anybody else wondering the same thing, kevlar. Plastics, etc. Steel plating underneath garments. Tricky, yeah, but technically possible. With practicality, leather works fine as well.
