Hello everyone! I am Flannel&Leather, but you can call me Steph.

A little about me:
I am Twenty-five and work full time as well as go to college full time. I am a special needs teacher currently. so I work Mon-Fri from eight in the morning to four in the afternoon (EST). I am currently in a Grad school program, so sometimes school takes precedence over most everything. I am not on every day, but I try to be. I also try and get on and tell my partners why I haven't been on for a day or two. I do not disappear for weeks without explaining what is happening. I also am new to this site but have been roleplaying since 2008. So, I also do not update with all the cool coding that is on this site, so this is super plain jane.

I prefer to play the female in role plays. I can double up as well. That is never an issue. If you see something on my list that doesn't interest you, but you have ideas of your own please do not be afraid to share them with me. I normally only do MxF pairings. That is just my preference. I have no issue with same-sex pairings. I just do not have the experience on those. I am a hopeless romantic and romance is a must for me. I also do not fade to black in my role plays. I play everything out. Smut is okay with me.

What I need from you:
Understand that I cannot post every day due to the things I have listed above. I love getting to know my partners. So, I enjoy OOC talk. If you don't let me know and I will keep my chatter very minimal. I also like partners who are involved in plot development. Your opinion matters to me. I can do 3-5 paragraphs or more when writing and would like the same from my partner. I can do more depending on who I am working with and how into the story I am. I understand one paragraph once in awhile, but not every time. It won't keep me interested.

I'm not especially good with romance, though I do need to work on it, for the purposes of my book. I have a couple of characters who aren't currently spoken for if that idea interests you. But I don't dabble much in fandom when it comes to romance. And while I know who some of the people you mention are, I don't know enough of them, or enough about them to work with them. However, I am open to fan fiction role plays. I don't really consider a whole ton cannon to my personal characters though, partially because their universes are so different and far apart, that doing so would be kind of silly. Still, I'm willing to work with you, if you can put up with all of that. I should probably point out that most of my characters are sci fi or fantasy specific, so you have some basic time periods for characters.
