Searching for partners

Hello there!

Well, as the title says, I am looking for one or more male partners to participate in some 1x1 RPing that can take place either in messages or as a thread (I'm not fussy). I have been roleplaying for about eight years (or more, I don't really keep count properly...) now and usually like hefty, paragraphed posts (i.e.-more than 8 sentences ). I expect my partner to be literate and also post at least two paragraphs.

My post rate is not set, I can post anything from three times a day, to three times a week. Depends a lot on how busy I am at the time but the minimum I will post is probably once a week.

I find the genre's that most pique my interest are:
  • Fantasy (this includes supernatural-based things.)
  • Historical
  • Sci-fi
  • Action (Not too gory.)
  • Adventure
  • Romance
  • Crossovers of all of the above (and any extra ones my brain left out while I was typing this)
I am not interested in:
  • Anything overly and extremely erotic (Hell to the no.)
  • Anime
  • Real life (A tad boring in my opinion)
I usually play original characters. I prefer my RP partners to be over the age of 19 but this doesn't have to be set in stone. I also ONLY play female characters who are between the age of 19-22 (This doesn't apply for any random NPCs I might use).

Some plot ideas:

Basically, some unpredictable disaster has wiped out most of humanity. The survivors need to scrummage around and look for a way to keep themselves from getting killed by both nature, other people and maybe even something unnatural

A noble woman is expected to marry someone she has never met so that her family can end a war and form an alliance. Someone is sent to find her/ stumbles across her and now has to decide whether they are going to take her back or help her to continue running away.

Your character and my character are in a secret facility. Either you were created with some sort of supernatural ability or you were captured when the facilities staff heard rumors of what you could do. The reason behind your capture is that the facility is trying to unlock the secrets of your DNA to somehow weaponize your gift by giving other people your abilities or training you to be a soldier. You have to find a way to escape the prison-like setting and keep out of the grasp of the recovery team sent to bring you back.

I also don't mind hearing any ideas of your own or different takes on the plot ideas I've set out.

I don’t usually 1x1 but i’m actually really interested in these story premises so here I am.

Also like, tryna get better at romance.
 
Did you happen to have any characters made for your Escape Plan plot already (I mean... for yourself to use, lol)?

As odd as it sounds, I tend not to create character sheets until I'm actually involved in a rp. It prevents me from just falling back on old characters/ ideas and forces me to come up with new ones that will perfectly fit the rp or create new concepts. I can have a rough outline of a character for you for that roleplay if you're interested but it won't be as detailed as a proper character sheet.

That's what I was looking for!

I just figured since you had that pairing listed, you'd have some vague idea of how things would go, whether that be through plot or character skeleton.

As for making new characters every time-- I don't think that's odd, that seems to be the norm that I've encountered. =)

Message me for the details. Just so that you're forewarned, I won't be able to reply everyday with my current schedule if that's what you're looking for. When things get less busy I might get more active.

Well, I don't have any specific plot plans in mind. But I roleplay fantasy and sci fi. That's what most of my characters are. A few are fan fiction, but beyond that, they're all OCs that are fantasy and sci fi. Maybe I should drop you a pm and we can discuss roleplay possibilities, if you're interested.
