Chronicles of The Omniverse Archived The Core Systems: Ostra - Wielden Colony

@Generik Bay shook her head, chuckling lightly. "I like you, noble. I have a feeling we're gonna have one helluva ride." she clapped his shoulder before leaving the booth, slapping a few Oro on the table. "Good chattin' with ya. I'm gonna hit on some cute girls, might catch you later, Big Dick." Bay laughed, waving as she left.

Stone sighed, his face still slightly rose tinted. "I hate that name..." he groaned, rubbing his temples.

@Raffia Kiryuin
Annie thought to herself. "So you're a mother figure. Cute." The idea of a parental figure was somewhat alien to the average sli'f - but inside Annie was hurting. She was more closely tuned to other races than sli'f usually were; and that affected her quite a lot. She thanked herself silently for leaving the suit knowing it would have betrayed her emotions.

Hinata narrowed his cyan eyes at Mizumi briefly, aware that she didn't seem to believe him. "What're you doing?" He asked, reaching up to his head with one hand - the other still in his controls - preparing to get his goggles on to see for himself what Mizumi was doing.

Kyo smirked at Bay, partially covering his mouth with one hand, the elbow of which was rested on the table to help keep him propped up. "Good chatting with you too, have fun." He bowed his head in farewell, waiting for her to leave. After a brief delay, he turned his head to Stone. "I was under the impression it was a compliment." He told Stone calmly.

Titania nodded and betrayed a slight hint of a blush which faded moments later. She however had no clue what the Slif was thinking or how she was feeling...reading from a slif was next to impossible as their body was changing constantly.

"Changing my primary element...i still dont have enough mana to sustain Fire so im changing to earth which is much more efficient in use of mana." She explained once the change was complete.

Annie easily cued in to Titania's tiny coloration shift. Quivering a little, she was silent for a time. When she spoke it may have seemed quite abrupt. "I wish I had a mom." She stated flatly.

Hinata frowned a little. He had no frame of reference for how platinum shift worked - unlike Annie who had previously seen it in action when she witnessed the Magna Beam. Hinata however, noted the shift in appearance Mizumi was undergoing. "Please explain more."

Titania really didnt know what to say to that statement Annie put out. it was going against all that she knew about slif, though eventually she jsut decided to pat Annie on the 'shoulder'

"Hmm how would i even go about explaining this...Titania knows much more of its actual workings than me. All i know i get fused with an elemental spirit and physically take up the properties of a selected element." Taking up the properties of the element would also easily explain how Mizumi wasnt getting burned by that brazier earlier and was feeling super cold all the time.

“That’s one compliment I can live without...” Stone muttered, shaking his head. “Childish compliment aside, anything else you’d like to do with the day? There isn’t much to Ostra but what we have is interesting as it is...” he said.

@Raffia Kiryuin
Annie was silent, for now. Her body didn't seem to react to Titania touching her, lost was she in the thoughts of her one and only parental figure locking her in a glass box and leaving. She was clingy when she was young, she remembered that..

Hinata tilted his head, flipping his goggles down over his eyes. "There's a spirit housed in that gauntlet." He stated flatly. He could glean a good amount of information from that. Looming in the distance was a building floating attached to a chain, and the workshop was headed straight for it.

Kyo laughed a little. "It's good to know things went well with those two, though." He told the much larger man calmly. "After all, here you thought they were going to be trouble."

"There is way more than just the two... Theres half a dozen of em in there that i kniw about... Could be more." Mizumi stated as her gaze was diverted from Hinata to the flaoting building chained to the planet. Not thinking too much about its origins or why its even afloat she was excited to geat what this dangerous trip is all about.

“Honestly, I’m a little shocked. She doesn’t usually take so well to outsiders, let alone anyone of noble blood...I wonder what drew her towards you.” Stone mused, his arms folded over his chest as he looked at Kyo.

@Raffia Kiryuin
Hinata's eyes narrowed a little, the goggles visibly twisting about their lenses focused on the gauntlet. "That's an amazing device. I can see a tonne of mana poured into it too. You'd needa bee a Hyadn 'n' a half to keep that on.." He murmured quietly. Lifting the goggles, proximity alarms went off inside the control room he was in. Gasping, Hinata slammed his big-booted foot down and the whole workshop suddenly stopped in place. Thankfully he was wearing a harness so he didn't go anywhere, his giant mechanical hands already moving to keep Mizumi from feeling the full force of her momentum.

Annie was not so lucky. When the workshop stopped, her momentum was almost perfectly sustained. The ship above her and Titania shuddered and lurched, smashing through one of the walls of the hangar as the sli'f suddenly flew sideways through the air out of the Magius Engine's touch, slamming into the wall. Hina-boy was gonna catch hell for this..

Kyo had half a dozen ideas for why Bay would be this interested in him. He was something she wanted, had something she wanted, could do something she wanted, knew someone she wanted, or she knew his dirty little secret. He couldn't have detected any hints she may have dropped through memory of their interaction; so perhaps it was something benign.. He shrugged casually at Stone. "I ordinarily pride myself in reading people like a book. That one's like an ancient tablet." He told Stone.
"You wouldn't be anything like a Rosetta Stone, would you?" Asmodeus asked Stone, tilting his head sideways, his blind eyes sparkling in the bar's artificial lighting. Though blind, he was directly facing Stone for the first time - previously he'd been tilted sideways slightly or facing only closely to those he spoke to, if he even bothered to try to face them.

"Luckily i am a hyadn." Maizumi said as she watched hte building close in far too fast. "uhm....aren't we-" She got cut short as the ship suddenly stopped yet all of the momentum she had was preserved and she suddenly lurched forward. Smashing right into the two mechanical arms that tried to hold her in place. Hinata could feel the sudden increase in Mizumi's mass. She was just as heavy as a car now that she had switched her primary element to earth.

Titania wasn't as lucky as there was nothing to hold her one and a half tonne body in place, even anchoring herself down to the floor didnt help as she went flying though the workshops wall. Trying to anchor onto the ship once again the spell she used instead just ripped a large chunk of the hull off as she went hurtling down towards the floating building with the hull piece following shortly after. "shit shit shit shit!" Was all that she managed to yell out before going through a wall and a floor. The hull piece that she ripped off by accident slapped against the building, sealing the hole she made shut again.

Though it caused a rather loud creaking of metal and lurching of body for Hinata to catch Mizumi, he did manage to keep her from slamming into the glass window and cease her momentum. It was almost immediately after that he heard the loud metallic tearing sound characteristic of a sheet of metal being torn off as he spotted from the corner of his eye a small humanoid figure fly out from his hangar and into the building he almost crashed into. Flinching when Titania impacted the side, and again when the piece of hull lodged itself in the hole, Hinata turned slowly to Mizumi with his lips pressed wide and narrow in guilt. "...oops." He wasn't sure he had the money to pay for that.. The giant chunk of metal that was torn off was already dissolving like gel being melted, as the hole in the side of his workshop began to seal itself. Barely noticable, the repair could take hours to complete, as could the dissolution of that metal plate that came off. "Uhh, we better dock to see the damage.." Already, coming out of the big building was a number of mages in scholarly garb, onto the large grass yard that surrounded the building - also floating, on a large asteroid the structure was attached too. "We're in for it now.."

Mizumi Too flinched when she saw Titania fly out yelling something as a bright circle appeared on her back only to be shattered upon impact with the wall she went straight through it. for a split second she could see the pair of classrooms she smashed through before the view was obscured by a chunk of hull lodging itself into the hole. "I hope Titania is fine...Im in earth form so i could repair most of the structure...don't know about furniture." She replied.

Titania was feeling so well as she found herself under a few hundred kilos of rubble at the feet of some person. Groaning and twitching for a moment as she tried to figure out just what really happened. looking at the path she took through the building she at least was relieved that nobody was killed as she went between the rows of seats. She could see a head poking down below to look at her. It didn't take too long though for her to recover from that as she stood up while her red spear clattered tot he ground. it was all bent and deformed from the impact so she would need to get a new one from the weapons that Hinata had cleared out from the ship earlier. "Maaan....master wont be happy..." She muttered, already imagining the expenses of repairing damages like that to a building.

Hinata leaned forward, releasing the grip his secondary hands had on her body. "Looks like..." The mages who came out waved their arms at Hinata and Mizumi, before one of them raised a wand. Swishing it about, the damage caused was rapidly repaired as materials from decorations on the building floated up to patch the hole in place of the now dissolved metal sheet. Thankfully it seemed no harm no foul. "I'm gonna dock it." Hinata said softly. The little place he and Mizumi were in audibly detached from the rest of the workshop and flew on down to where the mages were.

Several heads poked out around the hole above the storage room that Titania was now inside. Relatively unused and empty save for desks and chairs. The heads all looked into the dusty room where Titania was, a magical light appearing over the hole. When Titania became easily visible, the variously aged students - all in adulthood - suddenly covered their mouths and noses with their hands and peeled back. Another cheered at the sight - apparently a beautiful elfen lady with a killer body! Quickly being scolded by a much older lady who leaned out over the edge. "Are you alright down there?" The elderly lady asked.

Standing up straight now that her momentum was absorbed Mizumi nodded. "Lets dock it... im gonna get Titania back before things get out of hand." She remembered what happened back on the dust ball and she does not want a repeat of that.

Titania looked up once again to see several people back off after a strict sounding lady yelled at them. "Yeah im not in pieces so that a plus." Being in an empty room Titnaia touched her right shoulder as lingering energy left a streak following two of her fingers to her chest. "Experimental spell # 37 revision 2...execute." She spoke. This time more than just one circle matching the one from much earlier appeared. one on her back four smaller ones around her legs and two around her arms. with a short pause the circles burst into jets that pushed her up towards the floor where the woman was at. once hight enough the circles all disappeared as she landed on the floor just in front of the woman. "So sorry about the building..."

The little pod that the duo were in floated on down the the courtyard where the mages were. Once they were safely landed, Hinata climbed out and gingerly greeted the mages, two of which frowned at him in reasonable frustration. "How old are you, girl?" One of them asked snappily, to which Hinata squeaked, clearly intimidated. "I-uh.." He glanced at Mizumi. "I can reimburse you?" The mage who questioned him tsk'd and shook his head. "Don't bother, just be more careful." He snapped; to which Hinata quickly nodded. "Our friend got shot into there, can we get them please?" "Yeah, sure."

The group quickly backed up when Titania shot up and out of the hole. "Woah, who'ree you?" One of the apparently more venturous young gentlemen asked, clearly attracted to her. The teacher tsk'd. "Sorry," She curtly murmured. "There is a class in session, if you're well enough, please just leave."

Mizumi dropped out of the pod after Hinata with the side where she was in raising to be level with the rest of it. "Hes not a girl...he had me fooled too." The fox girl Explained before moving on to retrieve her friend, without even waiting for Hinata to ask that.

"Sorry miss..." Titania said quietly before moving out of the classroom. on her way out she passed a table with the one who asked her who she was. Passing a hand over an empty piece of paper he had on the table she burned in an arcane circle with quick instructions as well as her radio frequency. Just before leaving the room she extended her left arm towards the gaping hole and only a second later the red spear returned to her. With that finally in hand she left the room and closed the door behind herself.

@Generik Stone cracked a smile at both analogies, holding back a small laugh at Asmodeus’ quip. “I couldn’t tell you, not honestly.” He stared after were Bay-ala once was, smiling. “And as for the wolf fanatic, get used to not understanding. Like the animal she chooses to mirror herself after, she just does as she deems fit for the situation.” For a moment, Stone didn’t even realize that Mod was facing him, neglecting, temporarily, that he was blind. When he recalled such details, he scrunched up his face, confused. “You can...see me?”
———————————
@Kiki Zapatos Twelve clung to the door’s banister, holding on tight. He could hear a few dishes break from the kitchen as the rumbling continued. “My word...I’ll have to pass on the message.”

@Raffia Kiryuin
"Eh?" Hinata quickly looked at Mizumi as she outed him. "Ah-" The mage cut him off. "Oh, I'm sorry young man; I'm mistaken!" He bowed his head a little. "I-it's fine, really.." He awkwardly bowed as well, before he ran off after Mizumi, calling for her to please slow down and wait a second for him.

The young man whom flirted weakly with Titania looked wide-eyed as she passed him, and quickly looked down at the paper she scrawled. Only briefly interested in that, he watched Titania as she left, his heart pounding. "Woah.." A hell of a "woman"..

Kyo sighed, removing his glasses and rubbing his face thoroughly to massage it. "Well she has to have some reason, you don't get that kind of power if you're really that capricious." Kyo reasoned. He was currently forming a few contingency plans per possible reason for the wolf-woman to be interested in him. Shit, it'd really cause him trouble if she had enough interest in him. She was a danger for sure - a very useful ally and probably a good friend, but he could tell her son was less dangerous than her and even he was close to on par with him.

Mod laughed. "Sort of." He replied calmly. He after all, never explicitly stated he was blind.

With a sigh begrudgingly she stopped to wait for Hinata to catch up. "You know....who ever put this building up here is a complete idiot. theres traffic up here." Mizumi said once Hinata had rejoined and they had resumed walking to the entrance of that building.

Outside of the classroom Titania looked over her spear as she walked towards what she thought was the exit. Not paying much attention to people or what they thought when she physically with her hands simply bent the thing back straight...or well as straight as it would go. "Wonder if he'l figure out how to use that spell..." She muttered after putting the spear back in its place on her back
