I'm ok with doing a solar system but nothing larger

Alrighty then. So it seems only Shadras has a defined idea of what they want. Everyone else, including myself, is stating that they don't want anything larger then a system, which in my mind is at max 7 planets.

Since Shadras is in favor of one planet, and everyone only states that they don't want anything larger then a system, is everyone ok with the RP taking place on a single planet? Any objections or new ideas?

No objections. It allows for a few different races, but only if they've happened to migrate or have been moved to another planet. Going with the idea of one system with a few planets, but only writing about people on one planet.

Yeah, same here. I was trying clarify some of the ideas about systems in my post above. Not sure it turned out real great, but we can blame that on my lack of sleep and a few little issues I've been having.

So, focus on a single planet inside a system with multiple races. Let's begin then designing the planet itself. Should it have a specific focus, eg: a desert world, or have a large variety of biomes scattered across it?

I vote for multiple biomes. Each biome could have a king, or leader of sorts.

I like the idea of a single planet and Multiple biomes and different leadership and Medieval sci-fi, but just want to check because we haven't heard from everyone (I think I might be counting wrong). Would medieval sci fi be considered overly specific? I just realized looking back that that was one of the things to avoid listed.

Ok, we'll hold off on progressing until we get everyone to check in on what they think about the current concept of a medieval sci-fi planet in a multispecies system of planets. Just sound off with an Aye or Nay if you think what we have is ok.

Multiple biomes. Makes more sense. I mean I like star wars with their simplistic 'Desert Planet, Ice Planet, Forest Planet' thing, but it isn't that realistic.

As for the overly specific thing, I think it's more or less more of to avoid very specific gimmicks. Like 'Everyone is using Macguffium to fuel everything but it is running out.' or 'Everyone is currently under attack by zombies and all nations must live on tower cities'.

Though Lazz could probably tell us more.

Aye....I like the multiple bioms idea. I live in a state of constant tiredness so understanding that was easy for me

So what biomes should we have? I can write up a quick list of like 6-7 biomes if you guys want.

Also, if we can make a robot faction/race, I call dibs.
