Resolved/Answered Post counts

What’s the common amount of content one needs to be approved? I heard it was ten posts but I’ve since surpassed that amount and I still haven’t been approved...

It varies, and is never a specific number because content factors in. We tend to not really considercsingle response posts for example. Like if a thread is 'what is your favorite color'. Responses are pretty limited and don't give us a lot to work with when reviewing that individual. Not responding to people in introduction threads can also slow down approval if it looks like someone just ran around posting but aren't actually engaging anyone or replying to people.

I would say on average 7-10 really good and engaging posts get most people approved, but post counts can easily range from 5-20 posts for approval depending on the content of the posts. Usually if someone is accumulating 20+ post though, something is wrong. Examples would be poor conduct (which we generally would inform that person about) or someone just spamming the forums, which we generally would contact them about also.

Also I'm going to split your question off into it's own thread. Sometimes when people post into resolved threads their questions get missed.
