Distance heritage

Danielle and Tristan happily tag along, helping carry out the food for the barbecue.

Danielle notices Sylvan tied up with Eleonora and Leon next to him. Danielle decides to go over there and notices them trying to untie the knot. Danielle looks at Leon try to untie it and decides that she can probably do it better.

"Scooch over," Danielle pushes him out of the way and begins to properly untie the knot, giving a sly grin towards Leon. Tristan just watches her do her thing and tries to hide his grin.

when Leon got pushed aside, he frowned a bit and rolled his eyes a bit as he then just decided to stare blankly at Danielle's hands as she tried to untie the knot

Violet essentially gazed at the demigods who were attempting to untie Silvan. She had no problems with that, just using it as a distraction from the mysterious car that was just a short distance away. The girl placed the controller down, ignoring it for a moment and just proceeding to look right at all of them. "I tied the knot myself. I found the knot's design on the internet, on my step dad's computer. A lady was tied up on bed in a similar way." The girl commented. Perhaps she shouldn't speak everything that's on her mind.

Riley did hear Violet for a moment and gazed right at Mr. Sultan, not very happy about it. Not happy at all. She gave her husband a quick slap on the face then proceeded to walk right to the mysterious car in order to speak to whoever the person was.

The individual from the car isn't threatening though. When he stepped out, he just looked like ad awkward reporter. With the small notebook and pen, that turtle neck sweeter and that small beard. Text book millennial actually.
"This is private property, you do know that right?" Riley said to the person almost immediately.

Maria
Maria also heard the comment of Violets, “There are children here,” she said as she looked at Riley in the hope she would redirect her child. Then she checked if Zac and Oliver didn’t hear anything. When she spotted them she saw that Zac had found the Violets controller and was pushing buttons to see what would happen all the while holding it high up so his younger brother couldn’t reach. ‘Oh no that is not yours, You can’t just pick it up.” Maria called walking in the direction of her children to confiscate the controller before disasters happen.

Lyanne
After Lyanne put down the packages of meat on the table she walked over to the other demigods that seemed occupied with freeing Silvan. “We might have something in the shed that will help,” she suggested as she walked closer to them. She arrived later than her brothers and didn’t hear the comment Violet had made.

William
William watched his children disappear around the corner back to the BBQ. Then he turned around and walked over to Riley and the man. The man looked like he was a journalist something that worried him. ‘Indeed she is right, what do you do here?” he asked politely. There was no need to start being aggressive already. He wouldn’t scare away from it when he had to though.

Thomas
When they drove onto the parking lot, Thomas noticed some people were still standing around on the parking lot, they weren’t that drastically late after all. His father stepped out of the car first, Thomas was about to step out as well when his father turned around and said, “no stay in the car.” Thomas looked at him strangely and wanted to ask what was wrong but, he already walked away towards a group of people standing around a car. When he looked closer he noticed a man that appeared to be a journalist. Thomas despite his father had forbidden it stepped out of the car anyway and walked in the direction of the group as well.

Elle had been fine with getting Leon to help with Sylvan’s predicament but when Danielle and Tristan joined them it became it a bit too crowded for her liking, even more so when Violet interjected as well; although Elle did chuckle when Violet told where she had learned the knot, even better was that many of the adults seemed to disapprove of this comment.

She saw Riley walk back to where the cars were parked but assumed it was just to get even more food.

Eventually even Lyanne joined the ever-growing ‘Free Sylvan Team’ and Elle started looking for a way to sneakily leave them, she didn’t like being in big groups like this, which is why she was relieved when she heard Lyanne say: ‘’We might have something in the shed that will help.’’
‘’Yeah, I’ll help you look,’’ Elle jumped at the opportunity to get away before turning to the others, ‘’Maybe the rest of you could see if they need any more help with the barbeque. Or you could ask if anyone want anything to drink or something, I dunno.’’ Her instructions kind of fell flat towards the end but she pretended this was intentional by turning away and walking up to Lyanne, looking forward to the prospect of spending time with her.

Layna watched the others doing whatever they were so busy doing at the barbecue. She couldn't wait for the food to be served, but beyond that she wasn't mixing with the others much. She was mostly people watching, while going over the seemingly endless list of things she needed to do when this was over, or could be doing instead of being here. And debating if it was worth her time.

"No no, just give a moment," Danielle insists after hearing Lyanne's suggestion.

Tristan steps forward, "Trust me, she'll do it,"

After another minute of fiddling with the knot, it falls down with ease and makes a loud thump as it hits the ground. Danielle smiles, "there,"

Silvan:
Freedom at last. The boy stood up for a moment and held his arms for a moment, it's good to be able to move again even though he's not very physically active. The boy took a deep breath, proceeding to look around at everyone else for a moment. He took a very deep breath and proceeded, getting used to his legs. "Thank you." Silvan said to just about everyone, there wasn't anything else he had to say other then that. The boy took a deep breath and looked at the available foods for a moment. "When do we eat?"

Journalist:
The journalist looked at the two adults for a moment and took a deep breath, he wasn't very worried, a bit confident despite seeming to be rather new to the whole journalist career. He had his little not book and his pencil. A laptop was inside of the car and there seemed to be a lot of documents inside of the car as well. The Journalist took a very deep breath. "I'm an investigative journalist and if it's alright, I'll like to conduct a few interviews."

Riley:
"We don't do interviews. This is a friendly barbecue for special children and their parents." Riley responded rather quickly. It's been quite a long while since the last time she had to deal with the media in some way or another. Usually, Silvan and Violet, most Violet had gotten involved in something a bit dangerous or stupid. Usually however, they weren't major or cause for concern such as when the twins managed to out scam a gambling con man in a festival, the claim was that the machine was tampered with, but there was no evidence of any such thing.

Journalist:
"This is important actually. I'm from Citizen's News and I'm planning on raising awareness about children who grew up in single parent households or who didn't know one of their parents. It's a growing problem affecting the community, so having a few interviews with the kids and single parents would help raise awareness of the problem." The Journalist responded and looked at Riley for a moment. He did have suspicions that the kids and young adults were a little bit special but he didn't have any real confirmation.

Lyanne
Lyanne nodded at Elle and was about to walk in the direction of the shed when Danielle insisted on trying it without tools. Surprisingly the girl did manage to free the boy as well. “When they are done with the BBQ,” she answered Silvan’s question as she looked in the direction of the BBQ if it was already on. They had put down two fairly large coal-BBQ’s they had bought years ago from the money of the club just for the annual BBQ.

William
William looked over at Riley, his wife would be annoyed by her intervening but, he honestly didn’t really care. Especially now there were more important things to worry about. “How do you know that there is a BBQ for single parents here?” William asked. He didn’t like having the journalist at his lands at all. The man maybe doesn’t know about the demigod after all but, the fact he knew about the BBQ is enough reason to be worried.

Thomas
Thomas kept his distance of the conversation with the journalist, but he made sure to stay close enough to hear what is said. He saw his father look around but, till his relive he only sighed, before looking back at the journalist. Thomas studied his father's reaction to the answers of the journalist, he knew that his father would gladly chase the journalist far away from the farm. He didn’t though instead of that he just stood right beside the other two adults and looked at the Journalist angrily, making really clear towards the journalist that he had to be careful.

Leon
he noticed the unknown car passing by a bit earlier, once Silvan has been freed. Leon decided to walk more close to the parking spot, as he walked past the shed, onto the more open field untill he was in a hearing range, close enough to hear the conversation, but far enough to not be directly noticed

Elle felt disappointed about not getting to spend some alone time with Lyanne but she was not about to show it to the rest. After Sylvan was freed she quietly sneaked away trying to make sure nobody noticed her. Without really having any sort of objective in mind she ended up next to the shed anyway.

Out of curiosity she tried to find the entrance to the shed but to her dismay she found it locked with a large iron lock, presumably Lyanne had the key. If Elle really wanted to she would undoubtedly be able to find some other way inside but she didn’t want anyone to find her and think that she was actually interested in anything at all.

Elle remained unaware of the arrival of, and subsequent argument with, the interviewer.

Journalist:

"I have sources. This is extremely important though, at least allow me to speak to the ones who are 18 years old and above." The Journalist finially asked, the person does know that he'll need the parent's and guardian's permission to ask the minors any questions but the ones who are already legally adults should be able to decide for themselves if they want to do the interview. The Journalist waited for a response for a moment, he's not planning on leaving. Even if chased out, he'll keep.

Riley:

The lady considered it for a moment, she's dealt with journalist that like person before and she knows just how annoying these people can be. The harder people attempt to resist speaking to them, the more they'll try to get whatever information they want. And things can get very heated because of it. Riley took a very deep breath for a moment and looked to see what everyone else were doing. Silva seemed to have been freed. Allowing the Journalist to talk to the young adults once might just be enough.
"Fine you can go see if the young adults wouldn't mind the interview. But if you talk to the minors, I'll call the police." Riley said

William(Lyannes uncle)
William looked from Riley to the journalist. “All right, Thomas is 20, you can ask him questions.” He said as he nodded in the direction of Thomas ignoring, Thomas father who looked at him angrily.

Thomas
Thomas was about to walk closer to the adults, when he noticed three vans driving onto the parking lot. Multiple men in military-like clothing jumped out of the vans. One of them that was clearly in charge walked over to the adults. “We have an order to arrest,” then he went on to read up an entire list of names. A shiver went down his spine when Thomas heard his own name. But, was nothing compared to the shock when he realised the man was reading out loud all their names, one by one. Someone had betrayed them. His father turned around and gave him a look. He knew what his father wanted him to do. Without listening to the rest of the words of the man he walked in the direction of the BBQ. “Stop,” he heard yelling behind him but, Thomas didn’t listen instead of that he started running. As he ran towards the other people on the BQQ he nearly ran into Leon. “They betray us they have a list we need to go,” he yelled at the boy as ran passed him in the direction of the others.

What Thomas didn’t see was that multiple of the man had pulled a weapon as he started running. The man talking to the adults, however, notified the man to put it away and looked back at the adults. “We don’t have to use violence if you hand them over peacefully. We are not going to hurt them. They need to come for their own safety and the safety for everyone around them including you,” the man said trying to reason with them.

Wiliam(Lyannes uncle)
“No, there is no need for arresting,” he answered resolutely as he made himself look as imitating as possible. Then he looked at the journalist furious. It took everything in him not attack the journalist and yell at him. It wasn’t worth it, it wouldn’t help the children, he thought.

Eliot (Thomas father)
Thomas father on the hand didn’t have that much self-control. “Never, what do you we were just going to give our children away.” He yelled a the man before he turned to journalist and spit him in his face. “You knew right you self-centred cunt. What do you get out of this a raise?” he cursed at the man.

Lyanne
“What happened?” Lyanne asked as she ran in the direction of Thomas who was clearly panicked. She rarely saw him that upset so she was sure something must have been really bad. Her aunt, on the other hand, wasted no second and started yelling commands at the people around them. “Go to the house,” she yelled as she tried to get the order back. Most of the people at the BBQ weren’t completely new in dangerous situations. Despite that or maybe because of that chaos started as the parents try to get their children out of there as fast as possible. Her aunt was never very good at maintaining or creating order and most people likely never even heard what she was saying.

Besides the fact that the farm had multiple escape routes the government wasn’t crazy and had made sure there were agents everywhere around the farm.

Leon quickly followed Thomas as possible to also warn the others, he looked around and noticed more agents at other places as he yelled "we are stuck here, those men at the parking lot arnt the only ones" he explained, as he tried to calm the people down "if we escape, we will run right into them, that is what they want" he added to his previous statement

Viola Cheroutte would have spend some time in peace in the BBQ. She was sitting in one of the tables while her mother was chatting with local parents. Viola felt a little strange, as this was her first time in a meeting with so many fellow demigods that it made her feel a bit suspicious of the scene. It also is in direct sunlight, so it made her inherited bits of personality tingle with caution in case of any potential surprises. Viola spends her time in here as she got here a bit early, enjoying the scenery as well as she could.
