"..."
Like a film unfolding before him, Izuru Kamukura locked his gaze upon the events that weaved in and around him, like a tapestry of violence. He sighed (as he is oft to do at this point), intending to move away from the growing crowd and isolate himself within his observing bubble for the umpteenth time. That is, until the wristband itself crackled to life again, this time with something that his diety-like interest couldn't possibly ignore.
Izuru pushed up the sleeve of his ebony coat and observed the words on the wristband like a businessman does a watch.
"... huh?"
The veil of god-like disinterest seemed to shatter for a split second as the widening eyes of something more akin to a human being watched the words scroll across his wristband.
The second passed, and so did that minute trace of life in his eyes. Izuru sighed. He didn't spare any words. The action itself was of literally no interest, but something was disconcerting about what it represented.
Forbidden actions, multiple 'teams' pit against one another; this situation became more and more like a true 'game' with each word that left the mouths of these boring people. Pieces being slid across a board, ultimately accomplishing some greater goal that couldn't possibly be realized in any other manner. These developments made it difficult for even Izuru to find any patterns to analyze; there weren't many opportunities for him to use his talent to cultivate a solution.
Even if he wasn't what he was, even if he had a fraction of interest or care for these people, the Ultimate Hope could not solve this issue instantly.
Would it be easy? Yes. If given a chance, it would be extremely easy to end this irritating pointless charade. But there is a presence that is actively ensuring it would not be
effortless. It wouldn't be
instant. It would require Izuru to recognize that there is a fraction of him that
isn't perfect.
There is a level of unpredictably and uncertainty that makes it... how should Izuru put this... It was uncomfortably
familiar. Like there is someone somewhere that is trying to prove a point, even if they aren't here right now.
This wasn't boring. This wasn't very interesting either. It was...
Without saying much to his own 'team', Izuru began to retreat from the crowd until the woman (her name is irrelevant at the moment) piped up about something, which brought the suited figure to a halt.
"How boring."
Izuru turned his body around, projecting an ominous presence.
"It is illogical to use the talent of your 'people' to prove your survival would benefit us. Especially when that talent is..." Izuru glanced in the direction of said arrow with a passing look.
"... boring. Completely unremarkable."
"I don't think you or your people matter."
