Finally, at around seven that night, it was finally time for the party to begin! No one really knew what to expect from someone like Ludovica-after all, she seemed to keep to herself so much, how could you know what she planned? But for anyone going to the party tonight, they would be pleasantly surprised to find the Grimmnasium looked fantastic.

Expensive furniture was arranged in makeshift lounges all around the dancefloor, which was illuminated with violet lights. Golden chandeliers hung from the ceiling, and fancy curtains draped over a few of the little lounges. The grazing table was on the opposite end of the dancefloor, brimming with fruits, vegetsbles, meats, cheeses, and other snacks.

There was also a table with small dishes that was slightly less packed, but more organized.

There was also a table full of drinks, from water and milk to all sorts of juice and soda. And music was playing, rather popular stuff, too.

It seemed like a fantastic party. The only question was...where to even start?

This was just another typical gathering, no need to get excited. Those words swirled through Pyry's mind as she entered the venue. There was so much to see, Pyry actually felt that she was getting some slight sensory overload, so with some uneasy steps she went and got herself a glass of plain water from the table and sat down in one of the lounges. This was going to work out, she knew it...if she could sweat she'd be a fountain right now.

After prepping for the party beforehand with Rochelle, Crescent didn't waste time to show up to the party. Though, she took a moment to herself to take a deep breath before stepping into the Grimmnasium for the occasion of the night.

❝ Um... ❞ What now? That was what she wanted to say out loud, but she held that thought back to herself. For a casual event such as this before Legacy Day later on, the princess heir wasn't sure what to do from here. There was potentially a lot that can be done to make this party worth while, but she wasn't sure where to start. Or how to start, to be more exact.

For those few moments to herself, Crescent awkwardly stood near the entry way into the party.

Mallory arrived just as Penelope had finished getting dressed in a simple, but pretty lavender dress. She had even put her hair up for the occasion. "Mallory! There you are...I was worried about you. A-Are you okay?"

Mallory blinked at the concern in Penelope's words, and grew a soft smile. "About me? Uh, yeah, I just needed some fresh air, is all. Really," she assured the miller's daughter, hefting her backpack filled to bursting onto her bed as she entered, "But you look great, Penny," Mallory added, seating herself as she began rummaging through her still packed belongings, "Go on ahead to the party, I'll catch up after I get ready," she said, giving Penny another smile to send her off, before pulling an unmarked pill bottle out of her things - the same bottle from earlier that day. Hunched over with her head propped up in her left hand, she stared hard into the bottle held in her right, idly rattling its contents about. With a huff, Mallory twisted its top off and dumped a prismatic pill into her palm. Determination in her eyes, the junior doctor threw the pill back and swallowed hard.

Entering the Grimmnasium, it was as though the normally neurotic and informal doctor had been born again. With her head held high, Mallory tossed her hair back and forth; its deep blue streaks shimmering like silver lining her golden brown weave; and continued into the Grimmnasium proper. She was dressed in a one-piece gown coloured like her highlights, which hugged her around the waist before opening up past her hips - rippling and glimmering like waves under the moonlight. While she walked, it appeared almost to float along unaffected by the laws of physics, giving her stride the illusion of an elegant glide. Though, with how low it hung above the floor, it would prove difficult to tell if it were an illusion at all.

Absorbing the full picture of the party as it currently stood, one person immediately stood out with their clashing colours and sour attitude. With a devilish grin, Mallory snuck up on the Snow Queen-to-be.
"Someone's melting under the pressure," the done-up doctor teased to break the ice.

"Oh man I loooove cheese. I should totally start a cheese factory after I become a full-fledged swan. Cheese is sooo legendary... gouda is for gods..."

Fledgeling held a plate of various cheeses in her wing, nibbling them with her beak. She briefly snapped out of her feeling of supposedly-eternal euphoria to speak to Georgia and Penelope.

"Mallory's right over there. S- shall we talk to her?"

Georgia wore a large red dress that was... a bit weird for her to wear, honestly. She usually wore armor and loose clothes she could move around in, so it was weird for her to be in a poofy dress, but, her mother, Princess Sabra, had made her pack it, so she had to wear it.. She made a beeline for the punch bowl, grabbed some punch and Hershey Kisses, and then went over to one of the fancy chairs to take a breath in her tight corset. She also waved the fan around because DEAR GOD was she hot in this thing.

The first thing that Caroline thought when she skipped into the party was: For such a rich girl like her...her dress looked very....un-partyish. Her dress looked more like a funeral dress, but hey! Everything else looked too girly and all. And besides, she looked like her mother, somewhat.

Food! Music! Everything! Caroline gave a very large, teeth bareing grin, and rushed herself over to the food table. Caroline stared at the banquet like table, reminded herself not to make herself sick with sweets, and then snatched a plate from the hands of someone who reached for the pile of plates. (Of course she said sorry.)

Picking out a large variety of foods (and an unhealthy amount of lollies), Caroline then continued down the table, and then saw someone who caught her eye. Her roommate.

"Georgia! You look gorgeous in that dress! It's so beautiful! You do look a bit flustered though, are you alright? Anyways, do I look alright?"

Caroline knew the answer to her question. No, she didn't.

Pyry seemed oblivious to the teasing. "I'm too cold to melt...this time." Maybe they'd some time forget the accident in junior high. "I appreciate the concern though. I do feel...overwhelmed slightly. I think it's the music and the lights."

"He'll be fine. He just needs a moment. Anyway, I'll see you at the party Jay."

When Hunter arrived to the party, he wasn't entirely sure what to do. He had never been to one before, and he found himself quickly everywhelmed. All the various scents, the noises, and all the people. On top of that, he started to feel slightly emabr He ended up gravitating towards the food table and snacked for a bit. After a bit, he noticed a girl in a kimono standing by the doorway. He recognized her face, but he didn't actually know her. She seemed about as clueless as he did. Thinking he might try to make a friend, he approached her. "Um, hey there! My name is Hunter."

Georgia smiled at Caroline. “Thank you! It was a gift from my mother. She gave it to me to practice being more ‘Ladylike’ in courtly settings. Because I’m still technically also a princess no matter how much I am my father. Also it’s just bad manners to not be dressed for the proper occasion.” she said with a small laugh. She continued fanning herself. “You look super cute too. Hold on...” She reached over to straighten the scarf. “Sorry, it was a bit crooked.

At Pyry, she would lean back in her chair, close her eyes, and let the cold wash over her.“Oh, thank you so much, Pyry. That really helps!

As a usual habit, Olive found herself literally gravitating over to the grazing table hoping to have something good to snack on before she took to interacting with the other students. She grabbed a small plate and began to place different fruits onto it. Strawberries, grapes, pretty much anything she could get her hands on and fit on such a tiny thing.

Once the night ended, Olive would probably end up in a food coma or something. Huh, she actually didn't mind that too much. A few pieces of stray fruit ended up falling to the ground below her and she gave an annoyed sigh, mentally facepalming and gave a note to clean up after she was finished.

Angel had showed up to the party in a simple red button up and black slacks, along with a black tie which was about the fanciest thing he had. He headed to the the punch bowl and poured himself a glass and grabbed a couple of snacks for himself to start off. So far everyone seemed to be having an alright time.

"Thank you, Georgia! Guess I didn't even notice my scarf being all uneven and all from the rush getting here..."

Caroline fiddled with her now straightened scarf while doing a small quiet giggle, and trying her best not to seem too bothered by what she must have looked liked before she walked into the gym, considering how she straightened up what she thought was all of her dress (removing creases, folds etc), and she still had an obviously crooked scarf.

Going back for just a moment and getting some cool iced tea for her and Georgia (because the princess obviously needed it.), Caroline came back with two cups of iced tea, and a smile once she saw Pyry using her powers to cool down Georgia. Thinking that she needed to help with Georgia's overheating problem, she held the tea out for Georgia to take it.

"For a Snow Queen, that was a very heart-warming thing to do, Pyry! Even if you look a bit...discomfortable and you're going to be a meanie villian starting in a week or so."

Taking a sip of the cool tea, Caroline looked out to see the classmate(s?) that was Mallory(s). Who complimented her, for some reason, even though Caroline herself thought her own dress was bad. Well, that should mean that the person who's here is the nice Mallory, right?

Caroline giggled a little, and returned the hug (Even though she thought Mallory's hug felt a bit strange...must be where she's from.), and very much enjoyed the physical contact. Caroline was a little kid at heart, of course she would. Caroline replied with a chipper, high pitched, cutesy tone.

"Well, Mallory, I did choose this dress because it looked like my mother's one when she was in Wonderland! Thank you, by the way. But Georgia actually had to wear it because she had to! Something, something princesses or something..."

Was it just that? Pyry silently contemplated Mallory's words. A life living under her mothers rule in a land of ice and snow in what some could consider isolation certainly did nothing to the future snow queens abilities to handle normal social gatherings and interactions. As she pondered about this Mallory leaned in and whispered something into her ear. "...Are you implying that you smuggled an alcoholic beverage to the party?" You couldn't tell but Pyry was shocked by this news. The audacity of it all.

Hector had stuck around Ludovica up until right before the party up until right before it started. He barely had time to head to his room and change into the only reasonable thing he had.

He didn't remember packing this outfit in his things, but it certainly was convenient. It felt grand, proper for a hero, even just a future hero. Even if he wasn't seen for long, he would be seen.

He quietly slipped into the party and stuck himself by the snack table. He was adamant about not doing any of the typical party dancing or socializing, but the food was delicious and readily available. He stuffed a plate full of meats, sweets, and salty treats. His plate looked piled up for three people.

Seeing Olive fill up her plate, he pitched in, "I'd suggest the tiny sausages. Bite sized, but savory."

"Excusez-moi?!" Mallory gasped, taking exaggerated offense to the accusation, "I'm Dr. Jekyll, sweetheart, we deal in something other than alcohol," she rebutted with a coy smirk and a wink.

"Then the two princesses can mope about how much they don't wanna be here together,"
Mallory teased with a lighthearted ring to her tone, playfully turning her nose up at both Georgia and Pyry, "while we have some fun on the dance floor!" she turned to Caroline, and gingerly tugged her arm towards the centre of the Grimmnasium before quickly letting go and going on ahead whether Caroline followed suit or not.

As Fledgling suggested talking to Mallory, Penelope nodded. "Oh! Y-Yeah...though she is doing better tonight. I talked to her before the party as she got ready." Still, Penelope approached the small group of girls. "H-Hi, guys!"

On the way, Mallory ran into a very familiar face. "Penelope!" she gasped, giving the wallflower a vibrant smile, "When I didn't see you here I thought you got scared and flaked! Come on, dance!" Mallory giggled, tugging on her arm like she had Caroline's.

"Right...right...Sorry Pyry. I know you're the antagonist of your story, but I suppose that antagonists doesn't always equal bad. I guess..."

Caroline knew the outlines of Pyry's story. (Because really, it would seem a bit jerkish to be unaware of someone's fate EVEN after four years). Of course, Pyry was unfortunately the person opposing the main characters, so she was the bad guy. Then again, Caroline didn't remember the Snow Queen doing anything particularly bad...(Otherwise, Caroline wwould have not read the story, if the bad guy was slashing someone's throat or something. She liked lighthearted stories, not scary stories.)

"Ah, I love dancing! Sure I'm comi.....Penny! I'm glad to see you again! Come on, let's dance!"
......
Wait, does that mean that Caroline will have to ditch Georgia and Pyry? Because she didn't particularly want to, but at the same time, Caroline didn't really want to refuse Mallory. Caroline turned her head to 'the mopey princesses'.

"Georgia? Would you mind if I went with Mallory, or would you prefer I stayed with you much more then that? I do want to dance, but I don't want to umm, ditch you."
