The Convergence Series GM

Premise:

It was a cold but lovely Winter evening in downtown New York City. Well if it wasn’t for the crimson red skies and the giant hole looming menacingly from up above. The streets were all but deserted, by the living that is.

The ghostly community of New York were on a rampage and no one was safe. If only there was a group of heroes made for this job. Who you gonna call?

The Ghostbusters of course! But with even them on the case the massive ghost rampage across the city have spread them and their allies out thin, but then they get a call about a massive electrical storm at 550 Central Park West. The Shandor building created as a portal to other realms. Letting their allies deal with the ghost the four main Ghostbusters make their way to the building and as they arrive find a peculiar sight. On the ground several humanoid figures laid motionless. It didn’t take long for the group to realize that they were travelers from other dimensions who had somehow arrived in this world. Was their arrival and the sudden ghost outbreak connected?

Heading back to the Firehouse with their new travelers who are left in the hands of the very capable Janine Melnitz and a few other allies, the Ghostbusters ride back into the night to try to find the cause of the outbreak in the city while the people left in the Firehouse to try to figure out how and why they had arrived here.

However as they try to figure out the cause, little do they know that one among them has a sinister ploy planned for all of them…before the night is over there will be more dead roaming the streets.

Mechanics

There will be a single assailant among the group that every round will kill one of the other members of the group and it will be up to the living to find and killer in question. To make it a bit more interesting if you do not catch the killer by the end of the round it will move to a new character until the killer has been found.

With that out of the way welcome back to another Convergence series event! Up next is some rules.

Rules

1. Please be respectful towards everyone. As the GM my word is law, but I imagine there wont be a lot of problems.

2. This should be a given, but no godmodding / metagaming!

3. Players of all posting levels are welcome here. That being said, please at least put something whenever you make a post. You can also use images if you want, but keep in mind in that case that I'd like as little IC posts being nothing but image spam or so as possible. Speaking of image spam, please only post a maximum of three images / GIFs per post in order to not flood the page with images that make it harder to load.

4. I plan to go for a quick pace, so it might be beneficial to seek out other users to be your "posting partners" so that you have some people you can stick with. Using the tagging system is very much recommended just so that you or your fellow rpers don’t accidentally fall behind. This is actually very important. It's fine (and encouraged) to only keep up with a few characters / players for the majority of the game, as that is far easier than trying to keep tabs on everyone. Summaries and important GM posts will be made prominent.

5. Please post once a chapter. Chapters will generally last from a few days up to a week, so you'll hopefully have time. Not doing so will result in your character possibly being removed from the game. At the very least, PM me if anything comes up and I'll do my best to keep you around.

Short Bio
Shuchi's parents lived famous, busy lives and neglected their son. Shuichi was raised largely by his uncle, assisting the man at his detective agency. Despite this not being what Shuichi wanted for himself, he ended up taking on enough cases to develop his skills as a detective. Shuichi eventually solved a murder case and gained enough notoriety to be known as a junior detective, which earned him status as an "Ultimate Detective."​

Penelope is all means a normal human. Due to her studies in the medical field, she can cover adequately the needs of medical attention, especially with holding around a case full of first aid equipment just in case. Besides the usual belongings of her cell phone and small notebooks, Penelope wears a blue crystal necklace, which gives off a hint of magical energy but it doesn't appear to do so much.

~Short Bio~
The younger sister of Blake and Rinato Dormi. Before the two older siblings were gone from her life, Rinato gave her a necklace one day, telling her it would be her special good luck charm for the road ahead. Once alone, Penelope gave it her all to pursue a career in the medical field, hoping to help people out to numb out the guilt that she couldn't do anything to help her now gone siblings.

Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. It is possible to disappear completely and become almost impossible to be detected, even against a Servant's perception. However, efficiency will decrease once preparations to attack are taken.

A skill associated with the Servant's nature as a serial killer rather than as an assassin, which permits a preemptive strike against all opponents. Requires luck to work for sure in day, but unconditional success possible at night.

Information Erasure - B
The removal of information regarding the Servant's True Name, abilities, and appearance from the records and memories of all eye witnesses, including the opponent, following the conclusion of an engagement. This effect is enforced even if the battle took place in broad daylight or was recorded by devices such as digital recordings of a closed-circuit camera. However, evidence of the engagement is not removed from the scene, and by way of logical deduction, the Servant's identity may be revealed by examining those evidence.

The capability of surgical repair with use of a bloodstained scalpel.
Despite the technique being 120 years old, and somewhat unreliable by visual appearance alone, the procedures manage to attain their intended effect, boosted somewhat with application of Magical Energy. (The victims of Jack the Ripper were found with their organs removed in such a way as to require anatomical knowledge or skill with dissection.)

Mental Pollution - C
Makes it possible to shut out any mental interference Thaumaturgy due to possessing a distorted mentality. However, at the same time, it becomes impossible to come to an understanding with individuals that do not possess an equivalent rank of Mental Pollution.
In the condition that the Servant's master is of the Evil alignment, or perpetrates acts of cruelty against her, her Mental Pollution will increase in rank, further increasing the chances of blocking magecraft. However, as the Servant's psyche is inherently broken, this may result in irreversible corruption.
Likewise, it is possible for this skill to be removed if the Master is of a more Good alignment, seeing that Jack the Ripper as summoned by the more morally-sound pure-hearted justice-seeking protagonist of Fate/Grand Order does not possess this skill.

Unlisted Feats
These are feats and abilities shown that are not listed above. They don't exactly fit anywhere above, the same way FSN Rider summoning Pegasus from her neck wasn't on her profile.

As stated in her history, Jack is made from the souls of tens of thousands of abortions. When she is cut, she will not bleed an agonizing red, but rather, release a black liquid that is, in reality, these very souls. These souls can materialise into child-shaped wraiths or black phantom fetuses with fully-grown teeth, and possibly possess others. For balancing purposes, the possession ability will be used within reason, or possibly not be used at all.

She can identify people by smell to some extent, evidenced when she sniffs Mordred aka Saber of Red and comes to the conclusion that she was a woman. This event also occured when the Mist was activated, which shows that she is immune to the toxins of her own mist, as well as phenomenom similiar in nature to it such as factory exhaust, and she can even smell through her own mist.

London, 1888.

It was a time where whores roamed the streets. Whores who did not want their children, and thus, resorted to abortion, drowning their unborn children in the rivers, polluting them with fetal blood.
The resentment of the abortions amalgamated when the numbers reached the ten thousands, creating a demonic hivemind in the shape of a young girl. Her mind was geared towards an unknown path, an unknown path that resulted in the killings of many whores. The destination was to return to the warmth of their mother's womb. She soon became known as Jack the Ripper, and was elated that she had gained a something that only children with parents could acquire - a name.

She was soon extinguished by a magus who identified her as supernatural in nature, but that was far from the end of the Murderer of the Misty Night.

Powers / Abilities / Equipment: Theo is a talented liar
Advanced Combat Skills: Theo has shown himself to be a skilled fighter, making use of his Werewolf-Werecoyote instincts as well as his pseudo-supernatural abilities to great effect and what appears to be a degree of formal close quarters combat training. He was able to beat both Belasko and Josh, though he had initially taken them by surprise. His combat skills also allowed him to temporarily hold his own against the Dread Doctors, and survive multiple fights with the Ghost Riders..

  • Skilled Manipulator: Theo is shown to be extremely good at manipulation people, as he was able to fool and manipulate the McCall pack into believing he was a regular Werewolf who just wanted to join the pack for weeks. He was also able to manipulate the members of his own pack into doing what he wanted them to.
  • Theo posseses a weak form of all normal werewolf powers such as super strength, super senses, healing, agility and speed.
    • Theo also possess night vision.

      Theo can absorb pain from others.

      Theo can fully shift into a wolf and coyote.

    Other Info: Theo is a chimera a fusion of a werewolf and a werecoyote. He is drawn from post season 6. ( Later in the timeline than any other Teen Wolf character). Theo is an atheist. Theo is homeless. Theo watched his sister die and drown with a broken leg, so he could become a chimera by having the dread doctors implant her heart into him. Though never canonically confirmed, for the purpose of convergence, Theo is bi.

Zac is very obviously an amorphous mass of sentient ooze. He can freely squash, stretch, and manipulate the shape of his mass at will, move unhindered through tight spaces like liquid, and divide his mass into smaller pieces to spread physical trauma across himself and avoid injury or death - even then, he can really only be harmed by energy, and his seemingly squishy body is capable of immense strength.

Zac also seems to possess the some limited ability to absorb and experience the emotions of thinking organisms that come into contact with his mass.

Furia is an attack support and she does a lot more than just healing her team. She brings a lot of damage and a lot of CC with her Pyre Strike to the team as well. Her weapon Pyre Blade deals great damage up to medium range and could have increased attack speed by healing allies. Furthermore, Furia has a lot of defensive potential against flanks. Furia's ultimate Inflame, which grants the team bonus weapon damage and movement speed, is best used when the team is going into a point fight.

Furia's Pyre Blade is an unbreakable relic of the Holy Eternal Pyre and uses very powerful light and fire magic to help Furia dispense justice to the wicked. She can summon searing beams of holy fire, shoot multiple fireballs from her sword, encase herself in light and fire, fly at superhuman speeds, and buff her team members with a small dose of her mighty power, making them have increased combat potential and deal more damage while having increased moving speed.

Furia is also immortal, and thus cannot be killed by any means.

Short Bio:

Sarah prayed to the Eternal Pyre for the strength to fight the Abyss, to avenge her fallen sister (Seris). Her prayers were answered. She was saved from the Abyss, and transformed into Furia: An avenging angel of cleansing flame incarnate. Now the former sisters stand opposed, vessels of otherworldly powers far beyond that of mere mortals.

Powers / Abilities / Equipment: Cassata has his personal weapon, which is called a long gun. Also good for slashing and swinging around. And not being human, his wounds tend to heal a bit faster.

Short Bio: Originally created to infiltrate the kingdoms palace, he became extremely close with the people there and when the man who he was meant to serve came for him, he betrayed him and went back. A terrifying alchemist showed up and wrecked havoc among the castle, horribly injured Casatta's closest friend and taking his eye in the process, and blamed the death of the Princess and King on them. They have lived on the run ever since, the alchemist keeping a close eye on them, much to the trio's horror.

Name: Hazel Halfpenny

Age: 15

Canon: OC

Abilities and Equipment: Hazel carries a notebook around that she uses to write in, and it contains some confidential information (Confidential information from her job, etc.) She also always carries around a lavender pen to write in, but it can be used to record videos and audio discreetly. However, asides from a small usb port hidden by the detachable rubber and a small button, it can hardly be seen. She carries around a phone.

Hazel is experienced in spying, and not being noticed. To get her information, she's pretty good with manipulating people.

Short Bio: Hazel was from a somehow totalitarian, socialist town, although it was run somewhat lax. As long as they didn't question the leader or commit crimes, everyone was free to earn some money for some non-necessaries, and life was peaceful. Hazel's family was in charge of managing everyone's money and rations, and thus were relatively powerful. When she got older, Hazel began to write newspaper reports for the local newspaper, a gossip column. Soon, she began to take more and more drastic measures to find information, to the point of partnering with a notorious info-broker. Of course, she keeps that side of her well under cover.​
