My Character Dr. Bell is a clinical Psychologist in the slums that works for really ceahp. I saw that your character had younger siblings, maybe you can have one of them see my as a therpaist for some problems , which can in turn maybe lead into some sort of plot that involves the underworld. Just an an idea for ya

Haha thank you for the idea, I feel so rusty since it's been so long from my last forum roleplay.

You say she's a Mechanic/Inventor? How about this: Tegan is being held hostage by the cartel to make some sort of purification system for better drugs. Or maybe they kidnapped her siblings?

I only recently got back into it myself so I know how it feels to get all the rust out. Its been fun so far tho
 
This will be my first rp online with random people and I am so looking forward to it :)

@WiZ So I think what happens is that a woman came to the office saying that her family is in big trouble where some sort of criminal always goes to her husband and threatens him for money and is always harassing her and her children as well, so I accept the report and bring you(Cale) along with me because I know who that criminal and I know him to be dangerous around his gang so I needed you for extra firepower.

You got any ideas?
 
Damn. I was interested in joining, but it seems you already have quite the cast; I should have said something sooner. In any case, if there's room for one more, lemme know. If not, no biggie.

@Jag will we be able to have masks that mimic a person's appearance and voice, for extra infiltrationess?

Okay, went ahead and moved this into the Somnium Aeternum OOC forums :)
 
I've got a starting post drafted up, pretty much ready to post. Set in the bustling Red Lights District of New Arcadia, crime lord and mob boss Mark Mavers owns a nightclub called The Blue, from which he runs a variety of illegal services.

I'm thinking there's going to be something of an uneasy relationship between the NAPD (namely Erin) and some of these vigilante characters. It's been established that the NAPD can't be everywhere and there are certain elements of New Acadia that have to rely on underground and black market justice or have no justice at all, so Erin would realize that, to some degree, the vigilante acts are part of the greater good despite the harm they may cause and operating outside the law.

So I'm thinking that she probably has come contact with them and it's a bit of "I'll give you a leash to do things you want as long as you're doing the things I need, etc."

Thoughts?
 
PLEASE READ​

  • Newcomers are more than welcome to submit new characters and this is the place to do it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask or shoot me a message.
  • For those of you with approved characters, please take your character and post a thread with that characters name (ex. Erin "Evie" Valle) with that character's profile in the Character Sheets area. One thread for each character.   • There are a couple of plotlines that people seem to have ready to go. If you're ready to start something, go ahead and start a thread in the IC section.
RULES FOR POSTING IC​

  • Try to come up with a good name for the thread. Since this is something of an episodic RP and has a cyberpunk/noir feel to it, lean into that vibe when coming up with a thread as if its an episode name.
  • At the beginning of a post, make sure you put the following things IN BOLD.
    • 1. Your character's name
    • 2. Your character's location within New Acadia.
  • As certain locations become fully-fleshed within the RP, we will consider breaking them out as sub-forums of their own.
  • Feel free to make use, in moderation, of NPCs as necessary. I'll let you know if it gets out of hand, but I trust y'all to handle it!
