Will cleared the stars form her eyes. That wasn't very nice of the enemy to do something like that. The Keeper looked around her new surroundings to find that they were in some sort of jungle.

"So we're lost now, too? Surely you would have countermeasures in case this happened, right?"

Will summoned her sword, War Song. cutting down a few branches in front of her to clear the view.

"Great. Now it's anybody's game. I say we stick together. No use in getting picked off one by one."

"With that, let's get down to business."

Ben says as he smacks his Omnitrix down, initiating a transformation as a flash of green light veiled the nature of this split-second metamorphosis.

His body was veiled in orange fur, including his eyes. His limbs were covered by fur and quills as they morphed into the limbs of a canid or vulpine beast, and his mouth widened. As a final touch, a collar formed on his neck as the Omnitrix reappeared on it...

... as the green light faded, taking Ben's place was a beast, comparable to the dogs, cats and foxes of Earth. Though intimidating to some, it was just another form of the many-formed hero Ben 10.

"Raaaauurrgh."

This form, Wildmutt, lacked vision. However, his echolocation, sense of smell and vast sound frequency detection in his supposed ears allowed him to pick up many things that others would not, as if he was the perfect watchdog, but better. On all fours, he prowled the floors as he stood beside the group's two leaders Zatanna and Carissa, using his enhanced senses to pick things up.

"Grougghhhaggh."

"Phew. Guess the mission's a go now. Everyone alright?" Zatanna asked everyone, pressing one hand on her temple as though concentrating on something as she spoke.

"I would certainly hope so. Frankly, it's a bit of a miracle the transportation was able to work at all with Touma Kamijou at play here," Carissa snidely said, running a hand through her blonde hair.

"Please don't describe me like I'm just a variable."

"You are. And a wildcard one at that," Carissa only went on, before clearing her throat, "In any case, shall we take a roll call? Nobody's facing any momentary disorientation, yes?"

As Ben transformed into Wildmutt, Zatanna pursed her lips, mostly nonplussed at him seeming to casually turn into the beastly alien form. "There's Ben if you wanna do a roll call."

As Wildmutt would analyze the surrounding den area, it didn't take long to detect something suspect. Mostly the distant sound of rapid footsteps in the distant corridor, gradually coming closer as it seemed the footsteps were growing louder and louder until even those with a normal sense of hearing could eventually hear them. What or who exactly it was though seemed to be a mystery for the immediate moment.

"Praprryrrsllllaf!"

Wildmutt prepares a combat stance when he first notices the noise before anyone else, and almost instantaneously, he uses his senses to determine the shape of the source of the noise, whether it be the shape of a man or a beast. He also tried to see if it smelled familiar, since Zatanna mentioned that Constantine was somewhere in the house.

" I hate to be the one to ask the obvious question, but I'm going to ask it. Is there the room where Origin being kept immune from the counterspell or is it possible that he was moved in when the counterspell was activated?"

"Oh, dear." Casta looked around at their new surroundings. "It seems we wound up in the wrong part of the house..."

"Ooh, a surprise!" Ingrid was practically hopping up and down. "Finally, things are getting good! Now, just to determine where it is we are..."

The hallway they were in seemed to stretch on forever on both sides, lit by grand chandeliers hanging above. Doors of all shapes and sizes were on either of the violet walls, along with the occasional opening for stairways. The carpeting was a lovely pink shag.

"I...don't remember this part of the house," Casta said, moving to an olive-colored door and opening it. "One of these doors has to lead us to Origin..." Opening the door, she found it only opened to the wall behind it. "May as well keep trying them out?"

❝ Haha, you sure are! ❞ Majima played along because well, what else can be said to a dude who was literally on fire without pissing them off? However, the topic change which directed them back to the more important business at hand, it reminded Majima of something else that was important.

Due to how they were divided to different locations to spread out the workload for this operation, that witch wasn't here to remind him or even be the one to give him his medicine when that unfortunate timing would take place.

"All right then," Morrigan said, speaking loudly enough so that all the groups could hear her. "There's no time to continue the chatter. The Coven will lead you to your station where you will wait until either the threat reaches you or we give you further instruction. No matter what, the Revanchist forces must not reach Origin."

Morrigan then nodded to her fellow Coven members and raised her staff in the air. With a flash of light, every group but Morrigan's disappeared from the hall.

"Neat," Meira said, crossing her arms. "Guess we're gonna meet the enemy right at the front door? Perfect spot for the group with the least amount of members if you ask me."

"We'll fall back if needed. 'Tis just about slowing the enemy down, draining their strength as they try to navigate the House."

"If you say so..."

The lights above the group flickered and Morrigan stepped toward the door leading to the front of the House. "Be ready," she said. "Hold your attacks until I say so."

The double doors before them shook violently and a flash of blue light emitted from them. There was a dull roar, followed by the doors being pushed by a great deal of force. After a few moments, the doors slammed open, revealing a group of mages standing beyond. One stepped forward, his eyes glowing blue. He was Anders, formerly a Coalition member turned Revanchist spy.

"In Revan's name, I've come here to..." He paused when the ground around him and the mages with him glowed a brilliant white. The ground shook and cracked with beams of light.

Morrigan wasn't surprised by his response, but when Anders lifted his staff to slam it down to the ground, she felt that something was off.

When Anders' staff hit the ground, the beams of white light turned blue. Energy began to shoot out from the magic seal. Morrigan and her group began to feel themselves lift off the ground.

Then, the entire room went blue. Everything felt numb.

Morrigan and her group blinked and found themselves somewhere new entirely. All around them was a vast jungle. The sky above was a dull grey, but the humidity was heavy and damp.

"The spell was meant to incapacitate the Revanchist mages and send them lost through the House until another group could meet them. Now... Now it seems we have all been lost."

Schala prepared to cast a spell, but unfortunately... She never had the chance, as the house quickly teleported her and the rest of her group to a dark room. Of course, she knew Revan's agent would eventually reach them, so she decided to try and get a good read on her surroundings first.

Murmuring some arcane words under her breath, a small orb of crackling, magical light formed between her raised hands, with any luck, it would help light her surroundings... In addition to Rider's burning body of course.

"Is everyone alright?" She asked, trying her best to take in her surroundings even if the lighting was a little poor.

"Hmm...perhaps Indigo might prove the most entertaining," Ingrid said with a grin.
"One Indigo Lantern coming right up," Guy muttered, slipping his Blue Ring from his finger. For a heart beat, his navy tunic and hand wraps seemed to fade away, only to be replaced by an Indigo sleeveless hooded robe. In his hand, a long, faux wood staff materialized, a glowing core hanging at its head. He spoke with an echoing voice.

Shigure Prologue: New Mission

The Pegasus Knight took a quick look at those in the House of Mystery, noting a few familiar faces among those gathered and splitting into groups--namely the redhead with twintails and the unmistakable armor of his aunt. Granted, the youngest of the two seemed...off, and he couldn't quite place why, while the other had a few differences to his aunt; lighter hair that kept it's original length for one.

This led the young man to the simplest conclusion: The Multiverse was a very odd thing, and was just a little confusing. Noticing the amount of people around those two individuals specifically, the young man decided he'd find another group so as to not feel crowded and hopefully help try to even out some of the numbers among them...somehow.

So, he decided to go to one of the smaller groups for the mean time, that didn't mean he wouldn't at least try to strike up a conversation with one of the aforementioned semi-familiar women later, however. So, he headed towards Clea and Merlin's group.

"Hello, I am Shigure. I hope I can assist you all to the best of my abilities." He greeted simply.

Schala spotted the Rider's head flaming up not too far away from her. "Ain't my first trip to the rodeo, girly."

Clea as well had formed her own light source with the magic but the intense darkness seemed to almost be absorbing the light into itself. "We can clearly not stay in this place for long. Quickly, we need to reach our allies."

Ending up in such a dark place caused the young man to sigh softly to himself. At least one of his allies could see a door.

"I suppose it's worth a try, as long as we don't get further turned around." He spoke up.

The shape of the source was indeed that of a man.

As the footsteps gradually grew louder, it became evident that there was more than just one pair of footsteps, though from Wildmutt's point of view, it was definitely clear that the first footsteps were much closer to the group than the latter ones.

Furrowing her brow as the steps got closer and closer, Zatanna wasted no time in charging her magical energy, ripples of pure energy surging through her arms.

"Looks like we've got company."

And then, lo and behold, from the shadows of the dimly lit corridors, he appeared.

A blonde man sporting a distinctive beige coat over a white shirt and tie, sprinting urgently as though something were chasing him. Upon spotting the group, he skidded to a halt right in front of them, huffing rapidly like a tired dog.

"Z! Am I bloody glad to see you!" He spoke between breaths, a heavy British accent present in his voice, even thicker than Carissa's. "Looks like the cavalry's here."

"Yeah. That's what we are. Cavalry."

"... You can turn off the scary magic lights now."

"Can I now?" Zatanna quipped back, her eyes still narrowed as she seemed none too pleased to reunite with the man who seemed familiar with her.

"Err... And who are you?" Touma asked with a furrowed brow, completely lacking context for the back and forth between the two of them. Zatanna said nothing, seeming to relent the introduction to the man himself.

"Call me Constantine. I'd go all out with the pleasantries, but ah, we dinna have any time for that," the man hurriedly introduced himself, yet cryptically, shuffling his hand through his pocket and pulling out what looked like four talismans, "You chaps are the Coalition cavalry, yeah?"

... Then he noticed Wildmutt, as well as the distinctive symbol of the Omnitrix on him.

"Ah, I didn't expect to run into you again... Ben, was it?"

"I like the sound of that, Blitz. Welcome to the Team. We've just been talking about out powers and stuff-- you got any cool tricks up you big ol' metal sleeves?"

There were a few clicking sounds as Blitzcrank processed things and turned thoughts into words, contemplating what might be considered 'cool' to Guy. "YES. MY CHASSIS IS MADE UP OF THE MOST RESILIENT AND ROBUST PARTS MY CREATOR COULD FIND. I AM RARELY IN NEED OF REPAIRS, EVEN IN THE MOST HAZARDOUS OF ENVIRONMENTS, AND MY STRENGTH ALLOWS ME TO REMOVE HAZARDS. As the white turned to blue, the robot knew that something had gone awry in the magic. Weighed down by the pressure and unable to stop it from happening, his sensors stopped responding.

Now in an unexpected location, Blitzcrank turned his head around, examining the rather claustrophobic atmosphere. He was still recovering from the teleportation magic, which often messed with his heatsinks and processors.
"Get back here you back stabbin--- and he's gone..." Guy groaned, his flickers of red that had sparked at the core of his staff slowly fading back into the sea of purple. "Good thing I brought along some 'hired help'. These two handsome fellas should help speed things up a little..."
Before he could start opening doors, Blue Lantern appeared to be one step ahead, summoning a couple clones to do the work for them. "THAT IS AN EFFICIENT STRATEGY," he said, giving a thumbs up, "GOOD JOB. I WILL EXAMINE THE OPENED ROOMS." With that, he trudged to each opened door and peered within, his mechanical eyes analyzing every detail.

....Now this was a surprise. But now that the novelty of surprise was now slightly removed by her blue gem, Kitty was no longer grinning and smiling at danger like she would have years ago. Looking around in interest for a minute or so, Kitty quickly reverted back to her determined, normal, serious demeanor.

In fact, she seemed even more serious then usual, now that the fight has begun. How did she go from wincing at that Mason guy break copied versions of her gems and being impressed by Guy's ring powers, to suddenly malicious teleportation as soon as they stepped through the door? The mood had changed so quickly...

And oh goodness, did Kitty HATE teleportation. It was a cheap, cowardly magic trick, meant to frustrate everyone but the user. Sure, her friend could teleport and all, but at least she wasn't going around teleporting herself and others needlessly.

That 'Revenchrist' guy....was annoying. The Guy in their group wasn't quarter bad, and in fact, Kitty didn't mind his company, even if there was his non-sense about needless truths and visions bring him back to reality. And that cheesy hope oath, although it wasn't as bad as most other pep-talk oaths.

Well. Let's get started. Holding her wand tightly (having have taken it out quickly once she saw that Revenchrist dude), Kitty flicked the blue gem, causing a weak ray of light energy to come out, operating like a flashlight.

She settled for quickness examining the doors, rather then spending too much time. Sure there could be like, a fake wall, but for now, Kitty would point her flashlight/wand at the doors to check if say...there was a dark room or some weird bricks, and walk along examining the ones that weren't on Blitz's side.

She didn't spend too much time checking each one, mostly relying on her light to find any strange spots. But she was far more quicker with the door checking then Blitz, who she was somewhat ahead of.

"Not bad, not bad at all, Mason. You've got talent." Guy replied, giving Mason a round of applause. "I mean, I can teleport in a bunch of my rings, but its more of a long range sort of thing. My rings tap into cosmic wormholes to help me teleport, so they're not much good in close ranges. My Indigo Ring- or the Indigo Staff it can summon- fixes that problem, but I've got to keep changing rings to stay on my A game- you've got speed, kid. Now that's a real gift."

"Thanks for the compliment," Mason said with a cheeky grin, scratching the back of his head with his left hand, "Trust me, that speed comes with practice. Some more complicated stuff still takes me time, like a gatling gun or a helicopter. If I ever need firepower over speed, maybe one of those rings would be nice. I consider myself a guy with a lot of compassion, but I don't want to weaken one team just to strengthen myself. Maybe between adventures, I can take a little vacation in your universe and we can find out which of those rings likes me the best. For now, I think I can hold my own."

@Sark
"C-Cute?" Severa was taken aback a moment, but ultimately huffed. "W-Well. At least you FINALLY notice it." For once, Touma was actually lucky; Severa was still very low on the rage scale.

Probably not the best idea to push it, though.

To Ben, she smirked. "You better believe it! Though I don't know the same spells he does...yet. But hey, not like I had time to master anything."

She did frown as Corrin and Mason spoke. "Hey! What am I, chopped liver?!"

Mason quipped back, "Of course not, Severa. I'm glad to have a healer on board. And two UN reps in this group is great; three's a crowd. So let's show them what the United-"

Mason got cut off by the more plot-important voice of Morrigan.

@Ver @Josh @Alex Azure @Crow @Yun Lee

"The House will eat you up and spit you out," Morrigan said, smirking.

"Hm." Anders appeared calm as he stared at Morrigan. "Very well. A counterspell."

Morrigan wasn't surprised by his response, but when Anders lifted his staff to slam it down to the ground, she felt that something was off.

"Brace yourselves!"

WEsp8zm.jpg

When Anders' staff hit the ground, the beams of white light turned blue. Energy began to shoot out from the magic seal. Morrigan and her group began to feel themselves lift off the ground.

"There's... a lot of magic in the air right now!" Meira yelled.

Then, the entire room went blue. Everything felt numb.

***

Morrigan and her group blinked and found themselves somewhere new entirely. All around them was a vast jungle. The sky above was a dull grey, but the humidity was heavy and damp.

"Great, we got teleported away," Meira said, stretching her limbs.

"Not exactly," Morrigan said. She sighed and looked around herself. "We are still within the House of Mystery, but as far as I can gather, we are now lost within the maze ourselves. 'Tis a troubling matter." She lifted her staff in the air as if trying to sense for something. "The spell was meant to incapacitate the Revanchist mages and send them lost through the House until another group could meet them. Now... Now it seems we have all been lost."

"All? As in...?"

"As in, every group was likely affected by the counterspell as well. We are all lost inside the House. We must... hurry and try to get to Origin before the Revanchist do."

Meanwhile, Carissa's and Zatanna's group found themselves in a wide den area, Clea's and Merlin's group found themselves in a dark room, and Castaspella's and Ingrid's group found themselves in a Winchester style hallway.

@Ver @Yun Lee @Josh @Alex Azure @Crow @Z+C Group
"Phew. Guess the mission's a go now. Everyone alright?" Zatanna asked everyone, pressing one hand on her temple as though concentrating on something as she spoke.

"I would certainly hope so. Frankly, it's a bit of a miracle the transportation was able to work at all with Touma Kamijou at play here," Carissa snidely said, running a hand through her blonde hair.

to-aru-majutsu-n5o-index-964306.jpg

A mystery in the House of Mystery.

Tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap.

"Uh, I'm guessing everyone else hears that too?"

@Josh @Crow @Yun Lee @Alex Azure @Z+C Group

"Groouurrrghh..." Wildmutt nods in response, signifying a yes, before smacking the emblem on its collar to turn back into good old human Ben.

"Haven't seen you in a while, Constantine," Ben responds, noticing his old comrade from the strange dark world panting and hasting. Raising an eyebrow, Ben did not hestitate to start. "So, what's the 4-1-1?"

@Ver @Yun Lee @Crow @Josh @Alex Azure @C+Z Group

Two priorities came to Mason the moment the group appeared in the Den. "Why does something like this always happen," Mason wondered. First priority: Defense. Testing his powers, Mason formed his Parallel Yato in his right hand, and in his left another copy of Kitty's wand. Did this wand deserve a cool name? No, Mason decided. Stupid attack, weapon, and move names come later. His powers worked, that was enough, and now there was another priority. Roll call.

"Ben, Ellis, Severa, Zatanna, Princess Carissa, and me. Looks like we're all here. Oh, and Touma, of course. Can't forget him." Mason casually pointed the wand at each person as he listed them off. "Not forgetting anyone, am I?"

Gradually, footsteps approached the group. Mason not quite threateningly pointed the wand towards the source of the footsteps. Only once Ben transformed back into his human shape did Mason finally lower his weapons.

"Glad to see you're friend, not foe. Some of us aren't exactly Coalition, and I don't see any horses, but we're basically the cavalry here. So, is everything alright, or is there a reason you were in such a hurry?"

SECOND, I AM ABLE TO PROPEL MY HANDS FORWARD AT A SUBSTANTIAL VELOCITY, TYPICALLY TO GRAB HOLD OF OBJECTS AT A DISTANCE. THIRD, I AM ABLE TO SET MY ENGINE INTO OVERDRIVE. LASTLY, WITH ENOUGH CHARGE, I AM ABLE TO RELEASE AN ELECTRICAL SHOCK WAVE THAT DISORIENTS ENEMIES FOR A SHORT TIME. I HOPE YOU FIND MY CAPABILITIES TO BE SUITABLY 'COOL.'"
"Sounds like you can hold your own, I gotta say." Guy called over his shoulder, raising his tone so that his words might swim above the sea of opening and closing doors. "You're 'cool' in my book, there's no doubting that. Gotta ask though- that overcharge-electric shock thing you mentioned? Does that leave you... out of charge, or something? Do you need some time to kick back after you've used that attack, or is it the kinda card you can keep playing? It'd pretty metal to see Revan get lit up by an attack like that, for sure."

"Now that will be easier said than done," Merlin spoke up her footsteps echoing through whatever place they found themselves. "Ever changing as it is, this mansion will be difficult to traverse with one particular goal in mind. Especially now that we're under attack."

"Or we just go through that door." The Rider pointed over his shoulder to a door a bit further away from the group.

"Or we could try that."

"That is the most direct option, yes,"
a telepathic tone spat back out from the darkness, as a purplish glow emanated from the gem encased in Deoxys' chest, slightly illuminating its alien features amidst the other light sources in the room. It shuffled forward to join the rest of the team, looking in the direction of the door as it continued.

"There is a problem. I can't sense any other organisms beyond these walls. It may be empty, or there is an ambush waiting for us just beyond the door. As such, I will go first."

Suddenly, as Deoxys spoke and turned itself to face the door, its body began to shift without pause. The alien grew in size by a few inches; it's head and torso melding into each other like a malleable putty that quickly thickened and formed a solid mass of red and blue matter on two legs. The thin pairs of tentacles on either side of Deoxys' body stretched out as well, flattening into full slabs that looked as if they were built of rough clay.

Deoxys stood in its newfound form for a second, shuddering from the sudden shift in its mass and shape. It began to lumber toward the door, folding its slab-like limbs in front of itself to form a shield over its core.

"Be prepared."

"Jeez...does everybody know everybody around here?" Except for her, obviously. Man, how come everyone else got to go on cool Multiverse adventures while she was cooped up on Avalon? And the one she DID go on was to stop the entire thing from getting destroyed! Why was Severa's life so unfair?

"...oh." Ingrid didn't seem all that amazed by the Indigo powers. But maybe that was partly due to the fact that she was now occupied with door-opening.

As for the rest of the doors the clones started opening, it seemed a majority of them only opened to walls, as well. A few doors opened up to small storage rooms full of simple furniture and a few oddities. "Careful not to touch anything!" Casta called, closing each of those doors before marking them with an "O" using her light magic. "Who knows how valuable those all could be..."

Ingrid, who was on the other side of the wall as the clone moving ahead, sighed as she opened the door to yet another dead end. Hearing a noise behind her, she turned. "Oh? I believe this one may have found somethi-"

"KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"

An unearthly screech echoed throughout the hall, sounding as if an entire house of glass shattered right next to you. Ingrid stepped out of the way as the clone was flung back into the wall, a multitude of crystal shards sticking out from its chest. Out of the door stepped a tall, slender monstrosity made entirely of crystal, itself.

Turning towards the group, it roared again. "KIIIIIIIIIII!" With a swipe of its arm, the creature sent several crystal shards right towards you!

"Beach bod ready in just a second huh? Not bad." Castle quipped allowing the Pokemon to open the door in front of them. As they did the first thing that caught their attention was music filling the groups ears.

The other thing that caught their attention as their eyes adjusted to the light was the utter massacre that was before them. Blood splatter adorning the walls, various body parts scattered about the area. Literal pools of blood on the floor.

It seemed to be a storage house area of some sorts if the large boxes in the corners were any indication. The music they found was coming from an older looking boombox stereo on a table further into the warehouse. "By the faltlines..." Clea stepped in past Deoxys to get a closer look at the horror in front of them. "What could have possibly caused this?"

"If you ask me it looks like a good time happened."
