Some Revanchist went flying from the beams of light, but Anders and his garrison protected themselves with heavy magical shields. The energy was reflected off of the mages, blinding Morrigan and the others trying to stop Anders. When Morrigan could see, she saw that Anders had made it inside the palace. The woman could only shake her head as she followed the man inside.

Inside the palace, Anders and his mages stood before two women. One glared at the men while the other lay on a pedestal behind her.

"You will go no further," said Josephine Montilyet, a member of the Inquisition. She held a book in her hands. The girl behind her, Jennifer, was sleeping, still in a very long coma from the Coalition Civil War.

Meira had followed Morrigan's group, but she balked at the scene before her.

"Hey, what are these two doing here?"

"You will see," Morrigan said.

Anders seemed similarly perplexed. He stared at Josephine and raised his staff. "I don't see how--"

"You're an apostate from Kirkwall," Josephine said calmly. She squinted at Anders. "It was you who started the mage-templar war. Is that why you're here now, fighting for Revan? Do you really enjoy sowing the seeds of chaos that much?"

"You know far less than you think," Anders retorted. The mages behind him turned to Morrigan, Will, and the others.

Quentin looked up in fear as both teammates and monsters were killed or injured- his eyes continuing to widen as a large demon-like creature emerged. As the monster crashed down, debris flew up- and before Quentin knew it.

Impact.

He let out a pained scream as it hit his body, grazing enough to leave a deep gash in his chest, much like Freddy's twisted claws. A mixture of the pain and his memory churning his stomach, he could smell the blood pouring from his wound. He whimpered, attempting to stand with no avail. He could taste the damn copper in his mouth, his eyesight becoming bleary and darkened. He heard someone speaking to him, scolding him, but he couldn't really process it.

Quentin let darkness consume him.

Dorian paused in his spell slinging to give Ben a curious look. The kid was a bit older, but Dorian believed he did remember him from the strange incident half a year ago. "Why, yes," he said brightly, "I am indeed the Dorian from the thing. It feels so good to be famous."

He winced as Connor came in to toss his textbook, Dorian finding that to be a terrible use for the academia. "My dear Connor, I'm glad you took some of my advice, but I told you that you should have taken up a vocation of Thedas by now..." He found himself distracted by an incoming mage, not noticing until too late as another teleported behind Connor, ready to sink his blade into the back of his partner. "Connor--!"

A burst of magic erupted from behind Connor, sending his attacker flying back.

"You need to arm yourself properly!" scolded a girl, getting Connor's attention.

"Books are not proper weapons, trust me." Elizabeth Comstock conjured a sword and handed it to Connor before turning around to throw spells at the incoming mage masses.

Gratefulness poured from Dorian. "We'll all be going out for drinks after this!" he said with a laugh. "My treat!"

Mages were falling left and right to the might of the M.E.U. forces, though some were quite hardy. The mages practiced a number of different invocations, though it was the ones who suited themselves in armor made of magic and carried brilliant magical swords that seemed to be surviving the longest. Some of the mages saw how the tides were flowing and fell back, only to take out knives and other sharp weaponry.

"Blood magic," Dorian seethed, watching the mages. "Why am I not surprised?"

Cutting into their own skin, the blood mages began to summon forth horrible visions from the beyond. Even here in London, England, the veil between the living and dead could be reached through by the mages native to the world of Thedas. Taking from the Fade, the demons sprang forth into being, going mad and beginning to rampage amidst the battlefield.

The air began to turn thick and heavy. The acrid smell of blood permeated throughout the battlefield. Things were about to turn messy.

Morrigan had been watching Anders intently, recognizing him as the commander to this army of spellcasters. He had men and women flank him as he and a smaller garrison moved to invade the palace. Morrigan knew exactly where he was going.

"I will be following that one," she said, making a run for the palace. "He must not be allowed to go any further."
Quentin was extremely confused as it was if he completely teleported to a new place. His face twisted to anxious as he was now in a large crowd, and the other crowd didn't seem friendly. All of sudden, he heard a woman instruct to Charge!!
He was frantic as people flew past him, weapons in hand ready to attack. His brows furrowed, hearing Ben call for him. He walked over to him, floored as he transformed.

One of the mages sprung at Quentin, and out of reflex, he stabbed through it with the lance.

Maybe he was here for a reason.

He heard Ben yell out again, warning him this time- before he was engulfed in a barrier.

@Everyone
"Benjamin Tennyson, you have no idea what you are doing."

An unmistakably authoritative voice spoke over Ben's telepathy, piercing the edge of his mind and directing the boy's attention upward. The air screeched with a sharp hiss as shimmering lights consumed the sky above the boy and his allies, before flinging forward - a crackling orb of swirling red energy sailing ahead towards a group of Revanchist mages that emerged from the corner, already preparing to strike the transformed boy from behind with a lightning spell.

DEOXYS used PSYCHO BOOST!

A wave of force threatened to blow Ben, and anyone nearby him off their feet as the enemies vanished in a loud explosion of psychokinetic power, becoming naught but dust after the orb had made its destructive impact, vaporizing them in the blast. The source of the light show made itself known as the one, true Deoxys descended next to its bulkier brother, having adopted a new form.

The move seemed to have charged it with even more psychokinetic power, a purplish glow rising off of Deoxys' body like steam. Even Ben could feel the raw energy radiating off of it, humming with the same frequency as the energy he had used to fire that destructive beam just a few moments before.

Deoxys-Attack-Pokemon-Go.png

"You are full of surprises, boy," the alien eerily remarked as it ran its eyes over the perfect mimic of its defense form. "It has been a very long time since I have seen another deoxys, even if you are just a copy of my DNA sequence. So, that is what that device on your wrist does."

Deoxys lashed a tentacle out, wrapping around the other Deoxys and yanking it closer, despite the two being in the middle of a warzone. The two aliens were now staring at each other, their 'faces' just a few inches apart. Deoxys' pale eyes seemed to look right through Ben's alien features as it tilted and lifted its head, squinting and readjusting its sight to get a thorough examination of every single pore upon the copy's face.

It was like Ben was at the dentist if his dentist was a freaky alien.

"Yes, a very close copy."

Deoxys released its grasp, pushing the other Pokemon away with telekinetic force. "I would not have allowed you to scan me with that device if I knew you were going to misuse my moves. You are lucky that Hyper Beam makes a distinct noise; otherwise, you would have endangered yourself and everyone around you in the time it takes for our body to recover from such a massive discharge of energy."

"You will turn back n--"

An explosion in the distance silenced Deoxys for a moment, as it turned to look toward the sound of yelling, footsteps, and humming magical energy. A demonic roar filled the air between the two of them as Deoxys sensed a new presence enter the battlefield. It looked back to Ben.

"... The power of two deoxys may be necessary now. Remain in your defensive form and cover our allies, I will remain on the offensive. Use Protect, Iron Defense, and Mirror Shield to bolster the strength of your arms and carapace. And, above all else..."

A single tentacle poked Ben in the crystalline gem encased within the center of his torso. That touch alone felt like Deoxys had just jabbed him in the heart.

"Protect your core. You are Deoxys. This core composes everything that we are. Good luck."

Deoxys nodded to the other Deoxys, beginning to exert a pressure of its own as it lifted off the ground and turned to face the sound of torturous roaring and blood splashing against solid earth. A quick flight over led the alien to find itself hovering meters above the battlefield where the bloody demons had begun to pierce the veil, emerging onto the battlefield.

Deoxys, still empowered by the boost of energy it received from its Psycho Boost, soared down towards a wave of the demons, fanning out four tentacles and channeling more power from within its core. A rumble, not unlike rolling thunder, radiated from Deoxys. Golden arcs of electricity began to jump between its tentacles, buzzing with growing power before spilling outward in a wave of light.

DEOXYS used ZAP CANNON!

The thunderous energy seemed to split the air in two as a roar of crackling, powerful energy overcame the gnashing and bloodcurdling calls of the demonic forces, sailing down towards them from above. A fraction of the demons that attempted to push into the MEU formation were struck with a continuous beam of electricity being launched from Deoxys like a cannon, scorching anything that could be considered flesh.

Those demons that weren't immediately fried by the electricity, if it even hit them, had their movements seized by an overpowering paralysis. Demons, however, were strong; Deoxys wouldn't have assumed that they would also be slowed down by electric paralysis, let alone affected by it all.

For that reason, Deoxys dropped from the air before anyone had the bright idea to fire at the source of that dazzling light show, touching down to the ground between the encroaching demonic forces and any allies that were left standing.

Heat and energy crackled and exploded in the air, picking up a wind that tossed dirt and blood across the battlefield. Deoxys' attack was the flashpoint, setting off a chain reaction of superheated energy that cascaded across the demonic forces. The blood mages became lost in the carnage while many of the demons exploded into a spiritual mist. While the M.E.U. forces were spared the blast, the putrid smell that came off the rapid death made them feel sickly.

Out of the smoke and wreckage stood a hulking monstrosity, only its silhouette visible at first. It took a few giant steps forward, being revealed as the smoke cleared.

The monster roared, cracking the ground beneath its feet. It then leaped into the air and crashed down in the middle of the M.E.U. warriors. The impact was so harsh, debris flew up into the air and crushed some of the Inquisition forces.

The battlefield had darkened under a cloud of death, but when a bolt of lightning came down from the sky, the entire area was illuminated harshly. The sheer power of the bolt crashed down on Ben's group, disabling Schala's shield and sending them sprawling. Quentin got the worst of it, getting slammed by some of the debris thrown by the pride demon and giving the boy a cut across his chest.

"So that's Hyper Beam..."

So that was what it was called. Ben-Deoxys noted it as a great beam of energy that would need recharging. It would be unwise to use it so close to enemy forces.

"Alright, let's do this. You're the Sword and I'm the Shield."

At some point during the fight, Ben-Deoxys tossed the some little debris at the Revanchist group as a support attack in addition to its defenses, bonking some of the mages in the head and briefly hitting the blood demons. This debris, for a brief moment, shimmered.

Pointed stones dug into Pride Demon!

When the hulking pride demon finally appeared, the debris from earlier would rise, before digging themselves into the hide of the pride demon, dealing damage based on its properties and element.

"Don't see that everyday. I think that was from me. Sneaky Pebbles."

The Pride Demon prepared to attack Ben-Deoxys' vicinity with a great bolt. Seeing this, he wrapped his flat tentacles around Schala and Quentin.

"Protect!"

The move used would cause Ben-Deoxys to withdraw his legs into his body in the process as a the same green-hued spherical barrier would form, protecting him, them and anyone near enough to him.

"Everyone OK? And thanks, Severa," Ben-Deoxys looks towards her as she heals Quentin. When the green-hued barrier wore off, Ben-Deoxys looks towards the pride demon, morphing his arms into the cannon-like structures previously displayed, then launching the previously-seen purplish liquid at the pride demon, inflicting him with a poison status!

"Ain't no rest for the wicked, I suppose. I like the way you work, Princess Carissa. Now let's get to work!"

Mason charged forward, just behind Carissa. Pulling out the wand he made earlier, it quickly flashed with aura, charging up. He pointed the wand towards the mages and fired off a few bolts of fire. Retaliation for his poor barrier earlier? Regardless, he laid cover for himself and Carissa to get close. Once they were in range, he'd switch tactics. With a quick twirl, the wand disappeared in a puff of smoke, its glow transferring to his mimic Yato. The blade grew in length just the slightest bit. He slashed at the closest mage.

He only stopped his attack for a moment, watching Ben and Schala. "You alright there, Ben? Watch your time and stamina! Maybe now isn't the time to test out new forms!"

The green and golden mush one might call Ben Tennyson regenerated and returned back to the shape of the form he previously took.

"I've neeever been better, Schala..." Ben's new form shook his head to shake his giddiness off and returned proper. "Thanks for the assist, but I think I'm all recharged. Pretty badly damaged, but recharged nonetheless."

He looks towards Mason.

"Well, I was going for Humungousaur. But I guess you're right. Come on Omnitrix, give me Humungousaur!"

Ben's form prepared to smacked the Omnitrix emblem on his belt area, only for the Revanchist mages to decimate his right tentacles away with an attack that seemed to be aimed towards someone else, launching a chunk of the stone barrier away in the process. It slowly regenerated back.

"Ugh."

He did the same with his lefties, only for the the same thing to happen. This one, too, was an attack not aimed for Ben, but a stray blast, aimed for someone else in the group.

"Oh, come on!"

In a fit of rage, a strong telekinetic force surged through the Revanchist forces from the two holes formed, knocking them back with great intensity. As Ben's form's eyes glowed brightly, he used telekinesis on the Revanchist forces, causing them to spin around the stone barrier like orbits, then slamming them into their comrades, one by one.

Next, he assumed a meditative state, and during this, any magic attack that struck him dispersed instead of ripping a chunk of him off. Afterwards, he charged great spheres of water in three tentacles, aiming them through the holes.

"Hey! Uglies! Or... whatever you look like! Surf's up!"

He released the first sphere of water at the forces as they burst and rippled, dealing damage.

"This is for ganging up on me!"

Second sphere launched.

"This is for my right arm!"

Third.

"This is for my left!"

The rippling, pulsating spheres of water spread out, creating a gush of water that pushed them back further. Additionally, a good fraction of those hit with the attack became confused, causing them to hit themselves and attack allies.

"I don't know what just happened but I think it's working," Ben's form comments, looking at his enemies get confused.

Ben's form's body seemed to alter in shape as sudden bolts of attacks prepared to strike the stone barrier, layers upon layers of gold and green forming over his body in mere split-seconds. With the weakening stone barrier giving in to enemy attacks, it was likely that another strike would crumble it.

"Schala! Mason! Quentin! Look out!"

His form altered to a bulkier-looking form as a green-hued translucent barrier formed around him and the allies closest to him. This barrier dispersed as soon as all was good, but the stone barrier had officially given in. This form initially wrapped its tentacles around its body and tucked its leg, but soon undid it.

QaVoFmA.png

"My turn," Ben's form spoke as his tentacles altered their shape, transforming into what seemed like the ends of hoses or cannons, before a refreshing-looking purple liquid was launched out from them and at the opponent. Any of the Revanchist forces that were hit would be inflicted with poison that slowly sapped their health away if not cured.

During this, Ben Tennyson would be exerting his pressure.

The barrier was going to give... And Schala knew better than to just stand by and wait for the entire thing to collapse.

Instead, she prepared to face the Revanchist horde bursting through the barrier alongside Ben and Mason, forming a plan on the fly.

"We have to strategize! I'll... I'll be your shield, but you have to be my swords. Both of you." She said.

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught the eye of a small group of Revanchist splitting off from the main forces, heading into the castle.

It was then that a hulking monstrosity emerged from the battlefield, utterly decimating her stone barrier.

"... Ben... Mason... If this thing targets me... We'll change roles. What's important is we have to finish this... Fast. I think the Revanchist are making a break for the Great Spirit!" She shouted, hoping her voice could be heard above the chaos that was ensuing now.

Hearing his quick planning between him and Deoxys though, Schala blinked, tilting her head.

"Maybe we're both the shields...?" She said, then she shook her head a bit, deciding to focus on her present plan of action.

"I can only protect you as long as that beast isn't focused on me... If it goes for me... I'll have to fight it!" She warned.

With that, she closed her eyes, focusing on casting magic on Ben, Mason, Deoxys, and other allies who might be within her range.

Those who were affected could instantly feel their bodies becoming alot more fast and durable. Schala was mixing together incantations for both her 'haste' and 'protection' spells in order to help her allies in battle.

But should that creature attack her, she intended to retaliate by creating an elemental barrier of some sort... And switch to a more offensive strategy.

Deoxys' eyes only barely managed to follow the erratic movements of the monstrosity before a storm of sound, smoke, and debris consumed the alien's evolved senses. It responded with motion; darting around chunks of stone as they slammed back into the earth like meteors, thundering the ground beneath Deoxys as it maneuvered through the smoky air.

Suddenly, a booming telekinetic force blew outward from the center of the debris storm, sending smoke and stones hurdling away from the hovering pokemon that shimmered with a telltale unearthly glow. Deoxys made eye contact with the creature that ruptured the M.E.U formation. It observed the abomination in silence for a few moments. It was already on a path of destruction through the scattered warriors; it hadn't even noticed Deoxys yet.

So, it had to get its attention.

DEOXYS is tightening its focus!

When creature opened it's putrid maw to let out another roar, a sharp telepathic screech cut into the cacophony like a knife, turning the beast's attention to the Deoxys that was now soaring through the hot air towards it like a bullet with an intent to kill. The pair of tentacles on the right side of Deoxys' body then twist into each other, morphing like clay to assume the shape of a thick, human-like arm; a hand and all, five fingers clenched into a tight fist.

Deoxys rapidly closed the gap between itself and the demon, drawing its fist back like a taut bowstring. The telekinesis pushing it through the air cut out - the alien and its cocked fist now being carried by momentum alone into the body of the enormous demon.

DEOXYS used FOCUS PUNCH!

The ground shattered like glass.

The shimmering fist of Deoxys slammed into the demon's jaw like a nuclear warhead, a booming noise accompanying a wave of force that cast outward from the point of impact. The demonic general, dead or alive, would be rendered naught but a living cannonball as it was sent hurtling away from Deoxys into a far-off pile of debris, the impact of its body slamming into rough stone causing another explosive release of smoke and debris into the air.

Truthfully, it didn't matter if that punch killed it or not. It was far away from the M.E.U forces and the rest of its allies now, and the longer it takes to get back is more time for the formation to reform. Deoxys managed to keep itself standing after yet another explosive display of its power... the body of a Deoxys could withstand a lot of punishment, but this was not easy.

It glanced back at Ben, Schala, and whoever managed to stick around. Its voice was uncharacteristically labored and raspy.

"... Pull back. If it is not dead... then there will be more coming."

Connor looked over at him. " You do know that I don't- thank you for the staff. I'll be more careful. Dorian, are you going in after or fighting the demon?" Connor asked wanting to be as helpful while still staying by his side.

Quentin kept fading in and out, hearing commotion and people speaking frantically. He tried to speak but was met with a slap- which made him groan in pain. He could barely see, just a blur of red and black in his view.
His whole body was on fire, pain searing through him from his wound. The uncomfortable feeling of his bloody clothes making him feel disgusting. Quentin tried to move, a yelp escaping him as he fell back down.

He would need some time.

Wade/ Deadpool

Wade looked over and saw that the kid wasn't doing any better and well- it seemed likely that not even his slap would be waking him up. The Merc debated what the next best course of action was to make sure he would be okay.

It was too bad that he couldn't just regenerate like- oh maybe he could. Everyone loved getting his- Wade would slash his hand and try to feed Quentin some of his blood, maybe it would give him some more leeway to regenerate.

" What's the worst that can happen?" Wade asked slightly rectorcal.

Dorian smiled. "My dear Connor, all I want is for you to stay by my side." He eyed the pride demon and the great amount of carnage being left in its wake. "It might be best for both of us if we focus on protecting and rescuing for now, don't you think?"

The pride demon roared. It was not clear if it was affected by the poison or not, but judging how it seemed to be just as dangerous as before, the results didn't seem positive. A countless number of spells battered at it. The barrage was chipping away at the demon but not slowing it down to a helpful degree. Corrin's powerful blast sent it skidding across the ground but still, it stood its ground. It lashed out with whips of darkness, slamming it down on its foes to cause ruptures and small earthquakes around them.

After a moment, Deoxys had set its sights on the demon and it responded in turn. The telepathic screech caused the demon to roar once again in response as if trying to establish dominance. It saw Deoxys incoming and reached out with its massive arms to catch the alien creature but only caught its powerful fist as a result.

When the demon went flying into the debris, it did not get up, at least not for the next few moments after the attack.

The assault had not ended. Though the Revanchist mages had been thinned out considerably, lingering remains of the demons still stalked the battlefield.

"We must ensure that no demon slips past us and into the city!" Dorian yelled.

Anders turned his head to take in Will. His eyes were glowing blue and his expression was hard to read. "I know you," he said to Will. His eyes took in Morrigan as well. "I know both of you. You're like me, willing to do what we must in order to enact justice. What I do is not for the sake of chaos, it is to create a better reality. A reality without persecution and inequality. I can't expect the world to change. It is only possible by following Revan's path."

"Your justice comes at too great a cost," Morrigan said coolly.

"Only one who is truly privileged would think to say such a thing."

Energy began to burst out from Anders as a blue aura began to take him. The mages between him and Will raised their staffs, causing the air to crackle and pop with magic.

"This is the only way," Anders said, turning to deliver a powerful magic blast at Josephine. The woman flinched as the blast slammed into an invisible barrier in front of her. Cracks appeared along the magical surface and what appeared to be dark energy started to pour from the barrier. Josephine clutched the book in her hands tight to her chest.

"Hold the artifact close," Morrigan said to Josephine. "Without it, the malevolence will leak."

Morrigan raised her hands and the cracks along the barrier began to seal itself. Jennifer's limp body rose into the air and darkness coursed out of her body.

"Malevolence?" Meira questioned. "Isn't that stuff, like... bad?"

Morrigan barely made an expression. "Malevolence exists across all of reality. We were born from it. 'Tis not inherently evil... 'tis like a sword, it must have a master to shape it. I am using the energy coming off of the girl to form the barrier. It is stronger than any magic present in Thedas."

Anders continued to hurl magic at the barrier, but Morrigan seemed to have a hold on it. As for the mages with him, they seemed to be conjuring something special. The ceiling above cracked and broke apart as a heavy object fell from above, crashing before Will.

It was an automaton controlled by magic. It slammed its fist down, causing the entire room to shake. Meira let out a low whistle as if impressed.

Schala's boosts had caused Ben-Deoxys to instinctively take another form.

vn9nVrq.png

"Huh. I'm no longer assuming the Defense Form."

He then looks towards the demon Deoxys hurled away, then nods at Deoxys' instructions.

"If that's the case, I think it's time to take the offensive."

Ben-Deoxys turns towards Schala.

"This time, we're counting on you for Defense. That means I'm taking your offensive role for now."

Ben-Deoxys used his psychic powers, and Schala could something in her head.

"This telepathic link should allow us to speak no matter the distance. I don't know how much I can control my forms, but if one of your speed-boosting buffs activated my speed forms, then maybe... well, you get the point. Let's get in position."

Ben-Deoxys began to vibrate at high speeds, preparing an attack for when the pride demon would rise once more.

"Get ready for the worst, gang!"

"Let's do this!"

Ben-Deoxys starts off by splitting into many replicas.

"Hey, that's kinda like Echo Echo and Ditto!"

The only difference is that these copies were a type of illusion. However, they would feel and be sensed just like the real deal.

The illusionary duplicates would distract the various armadas of demons by whipping them, only to disappear instantly in black smoke if heavily struck back. This distraction served to give all other fighters a better chance at hitting them head-on.

The real deal disappeared nigh-instantly, hitting the various demons with Extreme Speeds, before swiftly reappearing in his original spot a single second later, assuming a combat stance. Other replicas followed this action to serve as feint.

Some of the Demons might trigger certain traps previously planted by a certain watch-bearing hero. These rocks would strike and dig into their underbellies and toss them upwards, dealing damage.

Deoxys watched as the Ben-Deoxys seemed to naturally shift into its Speed form, breaking off from the rest of the group and using a peculiar duplication move.

"... That move... I forgot I could do that."

Truthfully, for as much Deoxys thought it knew about itself, there was much to be discovered - or, rather, rediscovered. As far as Deoxys was concerned, however, Ben was making great use of its physiology, using combinations of moves that Deoxys itself never considered after it was able to vaporize any opposition with a single, powerful technique.

Meanwhile, Ben seems to substitute raw power with creativity. The human spirit is truly something to be respected. It reminded the alien of it's earliest memories; a stranger in space, awoken by a mere coincidence, forced to survive against an overwhelming opponent with limited resources.

That is the nature of all life. Unfortunately, the time for philosophy and nostalgic waxing would have to come later, as Dorian's command rang true for Deoxys. The alien began to shift away from its Attack forme, assuming a form most would recognize as Deoxys' 'Normal' form - organic matter returned to its torso and limbs, providing a natural appearance that was balanced between protection, offensive power, and speed.

"If Ben is getting faster, then I must make them slower."

Deoxys' core hummed, a telltale sign that it was channeling energy for another move. The alien closely watched as the other Deoxys darted around the battlefield, catching the attention of any remaining demonic/revanchist forces and beginning to gather them into a tight spot. When the clustering was at its peak, Deoxys lashed out; it's tentacles morphing into a hand that opened, revealing a shimmering palm.

DEOXYS used ICY WIND!

The air itself seemed to bend to the pokemon's will as it manifested the move; a storm of wind billowed past Deoxys and its allies, washing over a wide area of the battlefield that was mostly inhabited by the clustered enemy forces perturbed by Ben's tricks. Even those who weren't caught within the rushing winds could feel their bite, as visible flakes of snow and diamond dust revealed the bone-chilling nature of this ill wind.

"Talk about Déjà Vu," Guy muttered to himself, casting his eyes across the palace. "Still, the real thing looks better than the Red Lantern knock-off... Kinda sucks that it's gonna get the crap smashed out of it..."

Letting the Red Light flow through him, Guy shattered his chain saw, transforming the latent rage energy into a new, larger form. molding the light with his thoughts alone, he summoned a large, low-riding motor cycle.

"Time to crack some skulls, I guess" He lowered a crimson baseball helmet over his head. "Nobody's walking away from this unscratched..."

With a roar and a groan, the Red Lantern motor cycle leaps forward into the fray, a stream of smoke and ash roaring backwards in its wake.

Raising his body heat to shield him from ice wind, Guy rolled is bike to the side to cut a sharp turn, throwing a wave of flames across the first of the stunned demons. Once behind the first wave of the horde, his extended his aura to form a flaming, wire wrapped baseball bat, striking at the knees of the next few demons.

Will snapped her head upwards and swung War Song in an overhead arc, slicing through the large debris like a magic knife through hot butter. The holy blade cleaved through the rock easily, cutting it in two and leaving the smoldering rocks to crash far on either side of her

The robot was actually kinda cool, if she hadn't seen gargoyles bigger than it. Also it was trying to kill her and her friends.

Ben-Deoxys, once more, disappeared nigh-instantly, albeit a bit of his blur in his speeding routes still visible, reappearing and disappearing by occasion. A telekinetic charge sparked on his head as he rammed forward cranium-first.

Using his blitzing speeds, he smashed forward with the heaviest of forces, dealing massive damage with each of the frozen demons he had smashed with his head, turning to each one with the sharpest of momentums. Despite being slower than the attack he had used early on, it was much more powerful in the grand scheme of things. He smack them towards a rather specific direction, this reason becoming very obvious once their bodies smacked the ground once more.

The pointed stones swiftly emerged from the ground at the speed of bullets, digging into the frostbitten demons that lay atop them.

His illusionary replicas followed suit, some overlapping paths with others to increase confusion.

You get the idea.

The demonic forces, naturally fueled by a raging fire, suddenly found themselves billowed with the chill winds, frost beginning to gnaw at their joints. Any living thing that didn't avoid the icy wind would find their movements have slowed down to a crawl, making Ben one of the fastest things alive on the battlefield. Of course, Ben would have easily out-sped the demon's regardless; it's everyone else that now finds themselves with some open targets.

"Attack them now, before the frostbite wears off."

Deer-Dragon Corrin would swing her head several times in an attempt to kill several of the monsters. Another energy ball charged up, and she prepared to fire it again.

"We'll burn them all! That is their fate!!"

"Now that they're slower... I guess I can try something else."

Schala Zeal

@Others?

Schala nodded wordlessly... Deciding to trust Ben on this one. She carefully tried to manifest stone barriers to impede the Revanchist forces, humming under her breath as she did so.

However. She also maintained her more support oriented spells, keeping the allies in range both protected, and moving fast... A sudden idea formed in her mind. If Ben's forms were changing with each spell she was channeling into him, perhaps she could make him... Stronger? It was the first time she used her magic to boost someone's offensive power rather than her defensive power, but it was worth a shot.

"Ben... Get ready. I'll be giving you strength...!" She said, taking advantage of the telepathic link they had.

It allowed her to maintain the stone barriers she had manifested by humming consistently, though she wasn't sure how long they will last.

And with that, a sudden burst of magical energy could be felt throughout the bodies of those who were under the effects of her support spells... Resulting in allies that were close enough to her feeling strength surging through their bodies.

Sweat was forming on her brow now, as her attention was split between temporarily suppressing the Revanchist forces, and providing support for her allies, but Schala was pulling through... For now.

As Wade would discover, the worst that would happen was that he would get a hefty whack from Severa's staff on his head.

"Are you INSANE?!?!?! You can't can't make people drink you BLOOD, you FREAK!!!!!! Is NOBODY NORMAL around here?!?!?!?!" Her shrieking done, she shoved the tip of the staff into Quentin's chest, right below the wound. "And YOU! Stay put until you're fully healed! Everyone else will deal with the monsters! Jeez, what is with you men wanting to fight when your bodies are all torn apart?!"

"Oh, hello there, Guy! You seem awfully angry, don't you?" Ingrid waved to the (currently) Red Lantern, before spinning and delivering a powerful kick to a mage creeping up behind her. "Do you need help calming down, or does that red ring of yours help in battle?"

"No world can truly exist without those things you speak of, fool." Medea spat her words at Anders, uncaring that she blinded their own forces a moment ago. "As much as we detest it, evil has to exist. You cannot expect mankind to stay away from conflict for very long, if ever."

CRASH!

A window within the palace shattered as a lavender Pegasus flew straight into it. Lancer leapt from his steed and onto the ground. "Oi, Master! I was wondering where you ran off to."

She didn't bother to look at him. "Oh, you finally arrived. Eliminate his army for me, won't you? Urbosa and I have to deal with whatever is coming next."

"I thought you'd never ask!" Lancer grinned, his spear at the ready as he rushed into the crowd of mages, ready to knock them down and stop their chanting!

"I think it's high time I show you lot why they call me the Hellblazer," Constantine said briskly, suddenly appearing before the group's side holding a simple lighter in his hand. Flipping it open, he lit it, the device immediately eliciting a small, normal-sized flame. Stepping forward, he blew on the flame, but instead of going out, the fire suddenly blazed forward, practically exploding into a larger and wide-spreading flame that set some enemy mages in front ablaze.

Following that, with one swift move, the man spun around with his lighter outstretched, the flame swinging around unnaturally like a lasso to afflict even more mages, the flame conveniently dispersing and then rematerializing when it would have otherwise burnt his allies. With a cocky smirk, he nodded toward the group. "Am I on fire or what?"

Zzzt!

"If you have time to gloat, you have time to keep pushing!" Zatanna exclaimed in a reprimanding manner toward Constantine, blasting magical rays at the enemy, her shots possessing properties similar to that of electricity surging throughout.

"And for the record, no one calls you Hellblazer."

"Nary a moment where you're not tryin' to undermine me, Z! Even though that's what I love about ya, if I wanted constant emasculation, I'd rub shoulders with Morrigan instead, like she did with L--" Constantine began to shoot back, before Zatanna cleared her throat, signifying that he was just proving her point here.

Meanwhile...

THOK!

The body of a Revanchist mage was sent flying a few feet forward, propelled by the abnormally powerful right hook swung by Touma, having been occupied all this time dealing with his own fair share of enemies alongside Constantine and Zatanna.

"As long as my spirit's still intact, my body won't ever yield no matter how much it takes!" Touma exclaimed, as if to answer Severa's incredulous question, "I guess having a doctor like the one back in Academy City doesn't hurt either."

Gazing upon the situation Quentin and others were in, the boy furrowed his brow. "Do I even want to know what's going on here?"
