“I think she was scouting the tower.” The Human said. He gestured to a broken tower up on a hill. “We’re trying to get it as a foothold so we can siege their fortress, but...”

“We keep losing whoever we send.” The dwarf said angrily. “And the Guard’s stopped sending men.”

"They have not sent all yet, my friend."

From the darkness, another stepped forward to stand at the side of Wendy, a young man who seemed to tower a full head and a half over her or more. Expression set into a self-confident expression of determination as his lips cut a thin smile, the man bowed to them with a slight air of respect for them, even the small child who shouldn't have been on the field of battle in his opinion, "Diarmuid, son of Donn and first spear of the Knights of Fianna. I and my blades," His hands gestued to the mentioned weapons, a pair of crimson and golden swords that hung upon his back and belt with ease despite their size, "Are at your service. What needs to be scouted so that we can proceed?"

@RyuKeiko @Minerva

Wendy nodded in responses as she listened to the Dwarf and the human. Looking out towards the tower being pointed at, she moved to speak and thank them for the information, before she heard another person speak from the shadows. It startled Wendy, but he didn't seem to be a threat. "Hello Diarmuid," she spoke politely, smiling at the newcomer. "My name is Wendy, and I'm from the Fairy Tail guild." She returned his kind gesture by bowing slightly towards him as well, wondering how she had not once caught his scent while he hid in the shadows. Ignoring that, she continued on, "Are you looking for Xalliana as well? If so, I could probably use the help!" She exclaimed. Pointing towards the broken tower, she spoke again. "I guess it would be smart to make our way there, right? It seems that's the last place she was seen!"

"Come on, pansy, you can try har-" And then Scorpia would feel a mix of spit and blood after her puch connected. The guy looked startled, his mouth puckering in a look of surprise, and his eyes nearly popping out of his head.

And then he slumped over, out cold..

The woman watched with a stone faced look. She gripped the axe tightly. “Your commitment will serve Tiamat well.” She said to Kazuma, choosing to ignore Magi Mari’s makeout session with the statue.

She turned around to face the rest of the party, as if to turn attention away from the scene at the statue.

The Lord of the Manor has graciously opened up the rest of his manor to us.” she said, gesturing to the door Merlin went through earlier.

This would open up A ballroom, a sitting room, and a library as well as the bathroom Merlin had used to transform earlier.

She then grabbed Merlin by the collar and whispered. “One more show of disrespect and you will not get to revel in Severin’s New Toril.

The Orcs would collapse to the ground, letting out shouts of pain. They would twitch and be stunned.

As Lucina and static would continue, they would enter the main chamber of the Guild Hall. It was similar to a Modern Stock Exchange Hall, except more medieval and covered in smashed tables, blood, skulls, and large throne with an Orc sitting on it.

The Orc wore furs and ramshackle patchwork armor. He had the symbol of the Many-Arrows Orcs tattooed on his chest, and held a large sword which was buried in the wood in front of him.

Men of the Harp send more meat for Dhudrakk Flesh Destroyer.” The Orc said. “Dhudrakk Flesh Destroyer will eat well tonight.” A hearty laugh escaped him.

Beside him, chains rattled as a woman that appeared to be Xalliana from a description of her was bound upside down and hung from the large ceiling.

The guard would grab the man and Boward would continue on.

In the next room, which was even more on Fire, there would be two Nasher soldiers fighting what looked like rat men.

“They stole the crown!” One of the Nashers would shout. “They grabbed the bag with the crown!”

@Crow

Scorpia looked very proud of herself as her foe fell to the ground. "Ha! That's how it's done! I guess those kids weren't that strong then huh?" Having fought the man however Scorpia hadn't even realized that the mansion was now on fire and the group that she came in with seemed to have moved on. "...When did this happen? Guys! Where did you go?"

A shrug was offered in response as Diarmuid glanced at the tower, observing the destructive toll taken upon it, "I was told to join in this mission and assist in changing our fortunes of war; if finding this Xalliana is the best means to aid in the Harper's aims at the moment, then I shall act as a useful bloodhound." Noting the distance involved to reach that point, he considered the most efficient means of reaching it. It would probably be best if they moved quickly to secure Xalliana... Which meant he should take advantage of his new freedom of ability for the sake of the group.

"Lady Wendy, are you capable of great mobility?" A perhaps odd question crossed his lips as he turned his head once more to address Wendy directly, crossing his arms as his mind raced with the potential numbers involved in the stunt he was considering, "If not, it may be best that I carry you to our destination. We'll need to move fast, and I'd rather not leave you breathless trying to catch me if your talents lay elsewhere."

Wendy nodded in agreement. He was right, they needed to find Xalliana, or else things could end up worse than they would want. Capable of... Great mobility? She thought to herself as his question seems to leave her slightly confused, before a light bulb went off in her head. "Oh, you mean if I can move fast enough!" She exclaimed and chuckled a little. "I can definitely handle my own. I AM a Dragon Slayer afterall." She said, a small bit of pride in her voice. Before moving on, she spread her arms out, wind bellowed gently around her again as it did when she helped fight the dragon in the other tower.

Balancing herself and her abilities, she spoke her spell. "Vernier!" She shouted out.

The wind ceased around her, and she smiled at Diarmuid. "Ready when you are!" She exclaimed, pumping her fist up.

"I'm very sorry on the behalf of my companion. She has taken a case of the vapors," Kazuma said solemnly with a sullen look, pulling Magi Mari back toward his side and pushing her head down, as though forcing her to bow her head, while the young man did the same. Infiltration or not, a part of him genuinely felt bad for troubling this woman.

Everywhere he went, stuff like this always happened.

With the rest of the manor seemingly opened up to them, it seemed that their work wasn't done just yet. If anything, if there was any reason it'd be already over, it'd be because of Merlin's endeavors. Just for once, Kazuma would have liked to have an awesome adventure where everyone was able to pull some serious weight together, but instead, he was stuck with two useless mages!

With that, he grabbed Merlin and Megumin away, along with others, leaning in as if to huddle with them. "Okay, team... Where should we go? I'm thinking the library..." He murmured softly, though a part of him was also tempted to check the ballroom for... personal reasons, befitting a touch-starved young man like him.

Arslan, while Magi Mari and Kazuma went off to the alter and put the infiltration plan in jeopardy, gotten a glass of water from the bar. He at least hoped they had water, at this point he simply hoped the group would make it out alive. Once he noticed the rest of the manor was open for them however, he excused himself from the two noblemen in his company and went to take a look at the library. Something could come from the books right?

@Minerva @Hida Tomonatsu

A brow cocked itself up as the little girl executed her technique; it was rather impressive, such a young girl calling upon a spell without reciting the incantation. So a Heroic Spirit made flesh and a mage seemingly skilled in enhancement magic, able to reduce spells to simply the name... Diarmuid couldn't help but smirk at the potential combination of powers they could make if they worked together. "Quite the display, Lady Wendy. I can see why despite your age, you're trusted with this assignment," He chuckled before gathering the magical energy of his own body, giving her a nod before turning away, "Though lets see how well you can keep up with a Knight of Fianna!"

With that, the servant broke off into a run, taking long, powerful strides that built momentum within his body as the charge began to coalesce in his legs. Finally, the reservoir exploded; he crouched and leapt forth as bolts of magical energy fired from his legs, propelling his body to soar through the air. Even if he had used this technique a hundred times before for both travel and combat, the flutter of his heart at the sheer peril and thrill involved always called upon him to enjoy himself an overjoyed shout echoed from his lungs.

Not exactly stealthy, but he had no doubt that he and his new sort of master would have an easy time of things. In this world of knights and magic, no one ever seemed to play upon his geas, meaning that he was free to fight as earnestly as he wished.

Wendy blushed slightly at the compliment she was given, as she smiled at Diarmuid. As he summoned the magic energy of his own abilities, Wendy couldn't help but notice how much energy he gave off, noting that he was no slouch either. A race of sorts? She thought, as he spoke of keeping up. Before she had time to think of anything else, he took off. Wendy squeaked as she took off after him. The Sky Dragonslayer seemed to glide through the air, dipping and weaving between any obstacles that may had been in her way as she trailed closely behind Diarmuid. Grandeeney would be so proud of me! She thought excitedly, as she continued to follow.

Before long, Diarmuid suddenly disappeared from her sights. She looked around to and from as she moved, wondering how she could have lost him before she looked up. He... He jumped?! Wendy watched in amazement as he soared through the air, before she propelled herself upward to the best of her abilities, not having mastered flying to well.

Eventually, she too made a donation; a piece of cooked beef she had from a few days prior. Fortunately food never really spoiled in Gielinor, so it looked fairly fresh still, then bowed in response to more rooms being opened to them, forcing herself to smile in spite of the situation.

"Thank you. I-..." She trailed off a little, doing a slow 360 as she realized Corster was missing.

Shaking her head a little, she decided to go with what Kazuma suggested, and head to the library.

"I could do with some reading right about now." She said, quickly catching herself.

While she wasn't exactly the best at keeping a low profile, at least she hadn't blown her cover yet, right?

Everyone would hear the sound of steel being drawn.

@Gummi Bunnies @York @Ver

So this was where Xalliana had been kept. Taric was grateful to see she was still alive, but he needed to ensure that she was kept that way. His call for starlight already used for the time being, the Aspect needed to buy time before he could use it again on this orc. "Release the girl," he said, brandishing both his mace Bravado and his shield Bastion. "We can either do this peacefully, or in a way that will end poorly for you."

@Minerva

"Or what?" The orc snorted. He sat silent for a moment. "Of course. Let us fight as Gruumsh intended!" He grabbed his sword and threw off the fur cape as he stood up from the makeshift throne. "Let's end this, one on one. I win, the girl dies. You win, girl goes free."

Oh no, their cover has been blown by a single pin. Surely they couldn't find a good enough excuse for this one, and this mage had no plans on dying today.

❝ Oh dear, it feels fairly late all of a sudden. Now if you excuse us, we do best need to be going... hahaha... ❞ Magi Mari nervously laughed, and silently preparing some spells in case this got even worse. That sound of steel wasn't at all pleasant to hear.

@Minerva @York @Ver

So, a fight could not be avoided, after all. Taric grit his teeth, but still refused to back down. He had someone to protect, and he was going to ensure she stayed safe. "Very well." That was all he said as he took to a combative stance, eyeing his opponent. "Come at me, then, and face your own downfall!"

"Harper...? Wh-... Oh..." Elizia said.

While she had hudden her pin under her robes, there must have been some kind of magical presense that had given her away. She cursed herself for habitually equipping and leaving on stuff like that.

"Yeah okay! You got me! So what? You wanna go?!" She shouted.

With a quick motion, Elizia tried to seperate herself from Merlin and the others, deciding to try and preserve everyone else's cover... At her own expense.

Despite Merlin's intentions, she looked to be committed to the fact that she was a spy now.

Fjord

Fjord felt almost bad for hurting these rat people, but he charged his Lesser Demon to attack him. If this crown meant so much to the Nashers, well, he was going to make sure that they didn't get it " I'm so sorry to hear your loss, but maybe you shouldn't steal things in the first place," he replied back to him,

@Minerva @Crow @Jeremi

"There's a tower up on that hill." One of them gestured. "Harper Leoven can take you all there. We've established some scouts there already, but they're pinned down. We need you all to help them and get a further view so we can proceed to take back territory."

The scout nearby nodded and loaded his crossbow. "Indeed. I'm Leoven." He said, introducing himself. "Shall we depart?"

You would find the others in a room further down fighting several rat-people who seemed to have angered the Nashers in there. The rats were picking up gold and other things and scurrying away while the Nashers were panicked and shouting about the crown. It seems that the rats had gotten the crown in some form.

@Lucky @Crow @Jeremi

"Indeed." Was all the woman said to Kazuma. "Make sure she doesn't destroy anything."

As the group walked to the library, there would be a quick motion. The woman squinted her eyes at Elizia. "Is that.." She paused for a moment before shouting. "WE'VE BEEN INFILTRATED! WE HAVE A HARPER IN OUR MIDST!" She shouted, dragging Elizia into the main group.

Everyone would hear the sound of steel being drawn.

Being kind of overwhelmed over what was going on Scorpia's world froze as her mind raced to someone that always seemed to have a good head on her shoulders 'what would Catra do?' she thought to herself. The answer was an obvious one. Grab the thing that everyone seemingly wants. "Hand over that crown!" Scorpia shouted to the rats as she made a beeline towards the one with the crown tackling anyone standing in her way when she did so.

"Already ahead of you, Ser Leoven!" Seemed the men had missed memo that Diarmuid and Wendy were already moving on ahead, apparently in a race to the pointed out objective. Thankfully, the knight was used enough to roaring challenges over the din of battle and hearing orders passed down to him from afar, and thus he could easily yell back to the scout set to be their guide despite the increasing distance, "Lady Wendy and I shall meet you at the location, though be swift! It would not be proper if you failed to match us in this battle, scout!"

Following along closely, Wendy nodded her head towards Leoven and smiled. "Don't you worry!" She exclaimed as she smiled. "We will help the scouts out, get the territory back, and save Xalliana too!" She tried to sound reassuring and confident, just as much as Natsu or Gray would in this situation. She had faith in herself, to some extent. She had no fair judgment on Diarmuid, but he seemed nice enough.

Speaking of which, she saw that Diarmuid was speaking with Leoven, and propelled herself ahead of him, taking advantage of the opportunity to win their little 'race'. Giggling as she passed by, she pushed forward towards where the battle was with the scouts, ready to give her support wherever she could. "Come on Diarmuid, you're supposed to keep up! Let's go save everyone!" She smiled as she kept moving forward.

The cultists blocked the door, hands on their swords and presenting magic. They had angry looks on their faces, and were prepared to launch into a frenzied mob to tear the party apart.

"We're afraid we can't let you pass, Harpers." The woman in robes said. "Tiamat will rise, and you can not prevent that. Severin has declared it so." She held a large spear, which she prepared to swing.

The door behind you into the rest of the manor was unguarded and behind you.

@Minerva

As the orc stepped forward, his muscles and battle scars were clearly visible. His sword hand clearly displaying his biceps where his muscles rippled. His scars were numerous and covered his body, clearly the elements of a strong warrior. "I hope you are prepared for your death. Gruumsh will not be merciful."

"FOR GRUUMSH!" He shouted as he swung his sword.

Scorpia and Fjord would be a moment too late. The rat scampered into a nearby tunnel that had been dug into the foundation of the burning building.

"CATCH THEM!" Harper Boward shouted as she ran into the room, crossbow in hand. "We must get the crown back!"

She leapt into the tunnel.

The group would arrive after a small hill to a ruined tower. On a field below, several wearing Neverwinter Guard dress were engaged in combat with a group of orcs. One of the orcs cut a Nevewinter Guard before raising his head and shouting a battle cry. The other guards pulled back, spears in hand. In the ruined tower, a Harper Agent crouched with knife in hand, grabbing her shoulder.

Leoven would look towards her. "Cardiana, what's happening?" He asked, his voice calm.

The woman would wince in pain. "They blindsided us. Took Xalliana, I escaped but barely." the woman said, clutching a wound. "We're being massacred down there." She gestured towards the orc horde.
