"Sure, I wouldn't be going very far, mostly just dropping Jane and I'm not too sure what to do after." Nuli stepped inside and waited for everyone else to get themselves comfortable. She just allowed the ship to do its the thing, with just a few commands written into the computer, she ship began to hover up and fly off into the vacuum of space. With another command written, a small cooler rose up. Nuli got a bottle from it and poured a glass of the liquid. The drink was weird though Even though it was ice cold, there was still some kind of thick vapour coming out from it. Plus the cup itself looked like it was shoved in some frozen wasteland.
"Picked a drinking location, Layton?' Nuli asked him

Layton was leaning against a wall like he always does, this time - reading th list of bar names he was provided. "I'm still looking for one that sounds good." he said as his eyes scanned the list. "Not gonna lie, you gave me quite the list here." he chuckled "Let me read you some of the names." he said with a devilish smile. He cleared his throat dramatically before continuing, "Nexus-Sexus, Plot Hole, Void, The CAN-tina, Star Phoenix, and..." he paused for dramatic effect "...drum role please,...... PEANUS!" he said "Honestly, there were more, but you get the picture. This place is fucking wierd. I honestly can't even choose." he said with fake sadness in his voice.

"I'm afraid one of you will have to choose FOR me."

Jane thought for a second but, let go of the suitcase. On the end, it would be saver with the woman. "Alright, but I will electrocute another time if you don't give it back," she warned following the others.

" I don't know, I don't go to bars," she answered the man. "Not here at least, " she added. It wasn't that the girl didn't like company, on the contrary, she loved crowds but, preferred at least vaguely knowing them. Afterall going to one of those bars by herself would be an almost guaranteed of getting kidnapped and sold or raped or killed or all three.

Vir nodded at Jane as she gently patted Jane's head. ''We need to get you to your parents so they can teach you manners. It isn't ok to threaten strangers, especially ex-cops, kid.'' Vir commented as she stepped into the ship.

Vir nodded at the pair's discussion. ''Pick whatever sells non-alcoholic drinks so the kid here can come in, unless she wants to go meet her parents first.'' She suggested.''If we drop her by her parents' house then we can pick what comes first alphabetically. '' Vir added after a moment.

"I'm allergic to anything alcoholic," Nuli commented while the ship flew off with everyone. She took the list from Layton so she can choose one that's somewhat decent... And, she found one. "Time's Shacks is a restaurant, bar and hotel all in one. Especially famous for brewing their beers and making fresh foods. The room is decent enough. There's even a 20% discount on a family with at least one child." Nuli commented immediately, "They also sell none alcoholic drinks."

Nuli was really just playing around with Jane being a kid thing. It felt sort of fun.

Layton pinched the bridge of his nose "I was trying to get drunk, but alright." he gave in. "But we better have a fucking feast then!" he said, clearly very hungry. "Well, guess that means I have to change clothes then." he deadpanned. They probably wouldn't let him in looking like a spy or something of the sort. He turned the other way, ready to do the deed.

Jane folded her arms looking angry, but, instead of looking threatening she looked kinda cute. " You were the one threatening to kill us a while back" the girl reminded the woman. "And I am not a kid you know, I am 20 years old. I am perfectly able to drink alcohol and take care of myself," she continued as she stepped further into the ship. " Well can we go now, I need to get my family out of this hellhole before they starve to death or get kidnapped or robbed or both," she said as she looked at the others unpatiently.

Vir looked at Nuli as she nodded.''Alright, guess we're one big family. I think we need to first go shopping and buy clean clothes.'' She suggested. ''WE've got enough money to do that, anyway.'' She explained. Vir then looked over at Layton. ''Do you know how to use soap? I think it will take a while to get the dirty stench off from you'' She said.

Vir then looked down at Jane as she proceeded to pat her head. ''Sure you are an adult, kid. You are one short and childish sounding adult. You clearly are an adult.'' She commented sarcastically. She then silenced as Jane mentioned her family. ''I see.. How do you plan on fixing your family's life? Buy them a home then get them move in?'' She suggested.

"Don't worry, there's a mall near the Time's Shack, you guys can get new clothes and there are showers in the ship," Nuli said to all of them. Luckily, the giant space station that housed the Time Shack wasn't very far away. The giant space station was very neatly kept and very busy, sort of like a space cruise ship. Restaurant, hotel bar, a mall and even some permanent housing were all in the space station. All considered part of Time Shack f course.

Nuli's ship flew to one of the hanger's and landed. There was a sufficient amount of oxygen but the air condition was always very warm, at least for human standards. The friendly droids locked the ship down and handed Nuli the packing card for when she was ready to leave. Nuli would lead her three 'family members' to the entrance of the hotel. Now the hotel had an old timely feeling, despite all the weird aliens running about. The walls were made of some alien wood just as strong or even better than the typical metal architecture.
"If we get checked into a room, we'll get the 20% family discount for everything," Nuli said to the group.

Perhaps the most interesting feature is the staff. All seemed to be made of tiny flying fairy looking alien. Many of them carrying huge and heavy bags several hundred times their size with ease.

"That does sound pretty good." he remarked while stroking his chin "But why do you care if there is a discount? Were rich now!".

On a side note, Vir was correct. Layton reeked of sweat and dirt, a shower was mandatory. "Oh well, I'll be back in a few." he said as he headed towards the shower room with a bag full of fancy clothes. Resisting the urge to flex his muscles at them (Even if he did, he was certain they would be impressed). It was time to make himself look breathtaking! And so he would.

" I am not even that short," she argued, " Not my fault you are all giants," she complained folding her arms in front of her. " I try to pay someone that can bring us all to another planet, where there aren't thiefs everywhere and not everyone is trying to kill us," she answered the woman.

" When are we going to my family, I have been gone for a really long time, perhaps they think I am dead or abandon them," she said nervously. "Showers can wait," she said as she went through her filthy knotted up hair.

''Yeah, you sure are short, kid.'' She commented. WHen she said about leaving the station she frowned.''Why would you want to leave? The reason why the station is a shithole is that good people are leaving all the time. If they stayed then the percentage of criminals compared to law abiding citizens would shrink and the companies could see profit in coming back to the station to offer jobs. Emigration is number one cause for growing crime rates and shrinking population.'' Vir commented.

"Evacuating the good people from the station then executing everyone else would be an almost instantaneous result." Nuli commented immediately, "It's surprisingly effective at maintaining behaviour for certain groups." She stated casually for a moment. Nuli thought about it for a moment and looked around for a bit. She walked up to Jane, of course, not paying attention to anyone else.

"There's this farming planet that might just be perfect to escape too, no much government there so it's every man for themselves. But the community is pretty decent enough." She suggested to Jane. Nuli, of course, made her way to the bar area and got herself a regular drink to enjoy. Expecting the group to follow eventually.

---
"You guys looked like you just escaped some ice temple not too long ago," the owner of the hotel randomly said to the group.
He looked monochromatic, everything from his skin to his clothes was just black and white. He was slightly translucent, like if he's some kind of hologram but there wasn't any hologram device

"You have no idea." Layton commented. After he had taken that shower, he found himself wearing a dark green 4 piece velvet suit. And the new shoes he was wearing, produced a soft *cling* every step he took. It looked suprisingly good on him, even though the color didn't fit his style. Where he found it, is a mystery.

"I would be grateful if you could point me in the direction of the bar." he said politely. He needed to get smashed, ASAP.

"Easy saying you aren't sharing a small stinking room with way too many people. Besides, there aren't really law-abiding citizens at the station. You either steal or you starve." the girl answered the woman. She might look like a child but, the woman clearly has no idea how the real world worked.

"Really? are they open for refugees?" she asked Nuli hopeful as she followed her to the bar area. As the owner suddenly started speaking she froze up. " How do you know?" she asked looking at the man mistrusting.

Vir followed the rest to the bar. SHe hesitated a bit, but eventually decided to take a drink for herself. ''Alright, One soft drink.'' She said. ''Maybe Jantaberry.'' She added soon afterwards. SHe gently got irked by the kid. ''Law exists. I worked for the cops. It's just hard work to do and only select few people are able to behave normally in this station.'' She said.

Then they somehow got to a hotel. She raised an eyebrow as she looked at the man. ''No, we never went to anywhere. Do we look wealthy enough to go visit icey places as tourists?'' Vir asked, frowning.

"No, but you look desperate enough to rob a temple." he walked off to personally grab their order. A Jantabery for Vir, a large Uraip beer for Layton, champaign for Jane and apple juice for Nuli. He then brought some plates of basic restaurant foods. The two humans got burger and fries made from actual human cows and potatoes, Jane got some blue mashed potatoes thing made from an alien fruit and Nuli got an entire roast alien bird.

"Oh, you folks talking about that abandoned station, rough place. Heck just a few hours ago, word got out that an entire family was kidnapped, something about unpaid debts or whatever," he added casually.

Layton silently drank his beer whilst giving a glance at Jane. He was certain that were her parents he was refering to. But waht he found suspicious was the fact that he just so happened to tell the right people at the right time. How convenient. It went without question that he found that suspicious.

"I have a feeling those might be your parents he's talking about, Jane." he said as he took a big bite of his burger. It tasted good. Really good.

Jane suspiciously glanced over at the drink and the food. Carefully she poked in the blue potato. Her stomach rumbled as she smelled it. She took a small bite tasting it as she clamped the plate close to her. As she decided it was safe she started eating it surprisingly fast. As the man mentioned the family she abruptly stopped eating. "What? Who? When did that happen? At the station close by? Do you know who they are? Where did they brought them to?" she rattled off questions panicked with her mouth still filled with food. " We need to make sure they are ok, now!" she exclaimed as she jumped to her feet, ready to run right back into the ship.

Vir quickly turned to grab a hand from Jane. ''Take a seat and relax. Your parents are more worth to the kidnappers alive than dead. We've got time to eat and enjoy a warm meal before going on an another suicide mission. That and if they are kidnapped we need to plan a way to rescue them before heading head on first.'' She said. ''Sit down and let us think of a rescue plan, ok?'' She suggested.
