You have quite a knack for humanoid proportions that I've always struggled with.

Yeah, people tell me that quite often, so I guess proportions are kind of my jam.

For that I am not good at adding detail or texture, I just somehow can't do it haha.

I'm fine with proportions for animals. I just can't seem to get them right on humanoids. Takes me a lot of time and effort. Not enough practice as a kid I imagine. I always loved drawing animals as a kid, but had no interest in drawing people.

It's the opposite for me, even though I only drew animals/dragons as a child, when I liked anime I switched to humans, now that I am not in the anime fandom anymore, I still kind of stick to humanoids, but am changing my style to a more semi-realistic one.
I can draw animals/non-humanoid creatures only from the side, I somehow am always stuck with front views, it is a puzzle to me.

Love your style. Reminds me of the beings from Avatar. Wishing I could get the proportion part of humans down too!

Is it weird that I love the way you draw collarbones? Yes? Okay I'll go back to the corner now.

"Eat one waterpouch grape every day kids, it will keep your hair strong and teeth white!"

"I don't think their mothers will be too happy seeing their kids slowly turning their teeth purple with all that waterpouch grape juice.."

I am so jealous of how good you are! I really need to practice more, but it just gets me down every time I try to draw something. I loved drawing for the longest time, and I still do, or at least I want to. Yet since nothing comes out as good as your stuff or maybe even just a bit less as good.... I just... get discouraged. Keep drawing. You're going places!

Giving up is the worst you can do. Improvibg your art isn't always a fun process, it involves moments of deep frustration, hours over hours of practice and studies on all kinds of things.
I gave drawing up for around 2 years, I know how that feels like.

Every great artist once was where you are now, keep that in mind.

Thank you and good luck!
