GENTARO KISARAGI
@Atomic Knight

"Stand back, you guys, I got this,"
he said, before pulling out his Fourze Driver and transforming in a bright ball of light to Kamen Rider Fourze.

He pulls out one of his switches. A blue-ish one. When he placed it into the socket, a robotic voice called out
"Scoop!"

With a flick of the switch, a large shovel appeared on Gentaro's arm.

He would then attempt to use the scooper in order to scoop the laundry out of the way in order to find the book.

"I don't. What's wrong with soy anyway?" Touma murmured toward Junko after she responded to Lucifer, scratching the side of his head. It seemed clear that it was supposed to be an insult, but it seemed, fortunately for him, it flew over his head. "Lots of foods have 'em. And you can get great deals on 'em at the store if you're on a budget like--"

"This is stupid. I'm already over this," the girl grunted, her hands still fidgeting together. She bit her lip slightly as Giorno addressed her, a small yet telltale sign that even being looked at by the gangstar stirred some anxiety within her. She paused for a brief moment, as though taking a second to formulate her response. "I'm... T-Toko Fukawa. N-Not that it matters, I'm s-s-sure you'll forget in no time," the girl replied. Though her voice mellowed out, her stern, narrowed expression remained hardened, as though continuously keeping her guard up for whatever reason.

The girl who introduced herself as Toko briefly raised her thumb to her mouth, anxiously biting her nail as she braved to speak again. "T-Then again, if you're all here for a tour... that must mean y-you're all new here... and that would m-mean I'm your upperclassman! S-So you'd better show me some respect!" She uttered, figuring the group must be new students... the ones that were young enough to look like students, at least.

"You forgot to answer his other question, Toko," a certain female voice said from the side opposite to Toko, where another young woman stood.

"I didn't expect so many unfamiliar faces to be looking for me. I assume this is urgent, Junko? I'm a little busy right now, so if you wanted my attention, you have it now," she said in a somewhat standoffish manner, identifying herself as the very Kyoko Kirigiri that they'd been looking for. As Kyoko made her appearance, similar to when he'd seen Toko, Touma shifted slightly, still a bit unnerved at the prospect of not being recognized by her, but managed to keep quiet for the time being all the same.

Despite her fidgeting and wavering, the gangster maintained his measured stare at the girl, who had then introduced herself as Toko Fukawa. With how skittish she was, Giorno was tempted to turn the question over to someone else - though, luckily for him, the very person he was looking for happened to answer his problem for him. Giorno recognized Ms. Kirigiri's cold, stoic voice almost as soon as she spoke.

The history and formation of the Coalition was an exciting topic. Even more so, one wonders how some students from some cushy private academy like this ended up becoming the faces of such a large organization, one that spans entire realities.

All the same, one wonders how someone like Kyoko Kirigiri became the head of a multiversal war effort with such humble origins... or are these origins as humble as they look? Giorno straightened his uniform and maintained his polite act, his lie for the sake of simplicity. His lie for the purpose of figuring out why this academy feels so off.

"... I'm assuming you must be Kyoko Kirigiri?" he asked, already knowing the answer. He stepped ahead, folding his hands behind his back. "It's nothing incredibly urgent - my friends and I just arrived at Hope's Peak a little while ago, and Junko here was giving us a tour of the academy. Your friend Makoto Naegi was looking for you. Said something about meeting in the cafeteria."

"If I had to make a guess, he's probably somewhere in the dorms by now, looking for you with the other students. I suppose we should go back and let him know,"
Giorno turned to Junko. "Unless you have more to show us?"

"Your reputation precedes itself," Wanda replied to Kyoko. "I'm something of an...amateur sleuth myself." Superhero. Detective. They were pretty much the same thing, right? "I was just curious to hear about any particular mysteries you are working on. Or perhaps you have taken a break from that as you attend this academy?"

" Also for anyone who doesn't know, a soy boy is a male who lacks any typical masculine traits," he replied to the others as Giorno got to tthe point wih Kyoko so he felt that his input was redundnt and uncessary there.

Nathan held back a laugh as Junko called Touma a 'soy-boy', but absolutely lost it when the blond girl next to him said that Gentaro was one. He covered his mouth as he did. He wasn't paying attention much until then- but he was glad he tuned in.

He stretched his body, rather bored as they stood in the library- he wished he grabbed more pizza.

"Yeah, are we done here?" Nathan spoke flatly, not caring much for the current things at hand.

Makoto bowed his head to Giorno, thankful for his politeness. "I understand," he said. "When I first came to Hope's Peak Academy, I did a lot of research on my fellow classmates." He got up from his seat and got a sense of how many people had actually gathered around. "Well... I think it would be best if I went to the dorms. Junko can take you guys to the library."

***

Makoto had moved quickly, either eager to see Kyoko or to get away from the crowd. "Since you guys are new, let me explain about the dorms," he was saying, taking a right turn from outside the cafeteria. "There's a separate dormitory building, but some students can have rooms inside the main building. Those are mostly reserved for special cases or those involved in important projects. Kyoko is... very special."

They stopped at a door not far away that sported Kyoko's name on the plate by the door. Makoto gave it a quick knock, but there was no answer. "Hmm... guess she's not inside..."

"Can I help you?"

oZXNq6O.png

A boy had exited the room next to Kyoko's, looking less-than-pleased. Claire crossed her arms and matched the kid's look.

"Oh, we're just looking for my friend," Makoto answered. "Do you know where she is? We were probably going to check the library next."

The boy thought on this. "I think I may know. Except, I would need a favor first."

Junko was taking her new titles very seriously and energetically led the other group up to the school's second floor. She moved at a quick pace, eager to get along, though at least pointed out the various rooms along the way. When they came to the library, Junko threw open the door to find that it was currently not the most exciting place. It seemed almost deserted.

8PZFpna.png

"Hrm..." Junko cupped her hands around her mouth. "Kyokoooo! Are you in here?!"

Elliot turned to whisper in Nathan's ear. "I heard people are supposed to be quiet in libraries?"

@Crunch @Jeremi @Ver @Space_Candy @Library
Seeing no other solution, Makoto just shrugged his shoulders and told the boy they would get his textbook. As he had said, it was only a short walk to the room, though it was in quite a state when they arrived.

QFjvhvV.jpg

"What...?" Makoto groaned. "Who would do this?"

Barely any of the room was visible for most of it was buried in a giant mountain of clothing. Claire let out a laugh at the sight of it.

"Some kind of prank maybe? But this ill make finding that book next to impossible."

@Capri @Laundry

Junko scoffed at Lucifer. "Uh, yeah, of course I know what it means."

@Lucky

tumblr_p1wnisHvCT1vtm2teo3_250.png

"That's unfortunate." Azura commented idly as she looked to the pile of clothes in the laundry room and failed to hold back a snort of amusement. This had to have been planned, and it definitely looked like it could of been a prank. However, something about that blue haired boy had seemed off, though maybe it was the way he eyed the group. Either way, it rubbed her the wrong way.

Crossing her arms a moment as Makoto commented on it being nearly impossible to find the book now, she opened her mouth to speak-

"Oh." Then lost what she was actually going to say, instead staring a bit dumbfounded but in a sense, impressed, that Gentaro's armor had such a thing. While Gentaro did that, she stuck close to Makoto and Claire for the time being and hoped the boy didn't freak out over it. Given their current track record, she wouldn't have been surprised if he had.

"Another sleuth, huh? Well, everyone needs a hobby," Kyoko said brusquely toward Wanda, using her right hand to brush aside her lavender hair. To those who knew her even just a little bit, it might have seemed a bit aloof even by her standards, but of course, this wasn't the Kyoko Kirigiri they knew. This was a different girl who'd led different experiences. This was a Kyoko Kirigiri who was not friends with Wanda Maximoff, or had even met the likes of Giorno, Touma, and so on. In other words, there was a clear difference between how she acted now, and how she carried herself in the presence of who she perceived to be strangers. Not even she was infallible against something like that.

"Right now though, the only mystery I'm solving is how the faculty members of the academy think that polynomials will help prepare us for the real world," she continued, raising her left arm to reveal a math textbook. She was, after all, a teenager here. A teenager who worried about things teenagers did, like school... and boys who--

"Oh," the girl blinked as Giorno brought up Makoto. A subtle glimmer of surprise flashed for just a second in the stoic detective's eyes but was quickly dimmed into obscurity. She gazed at the clock mounted on a wall in the library, her lip pursing for a split second before she let out a breath. "Yes, I'd made plans with Makoto to meet earlier... I must have lost track of the time. He's probably real frustrated with me right about now..."

"F-Fat chance. That guy's all o-over you. Everyone can see how much he simps for you, except for you. S-Some Ultimate Detective you are!" Toko snickered toward Kyoko's way from the sidelines.

"Oh god, is this the world where everyone speaks in buzzwords?"

"I'm sure you'd know plenty about that," Kyoko shot back to Toko, before letting out a soft breath and looking to the group again. "I guess you could say I got caught up before I knew it. I wonder if he'd be willing to take a rain check... unless he really wants to have lunch with me that badly. I wonder why he'd go through all that trouble for me though."

If there was a camera, it would have zoomed in on Toko's dry, vacant face.

At first, Makoto looked completely taken aback by Gentaro's strange ability, but as he watched the clothing pile begin to rapidly get smaller, he was fully on board. "Wow, is that your Ultimate talent? We do have an Ultimate Robot around here..."

Claire exchanged a glance with Azura, trying to read her face. Claire had gotten the impression that the other woman was familiar with her, though Claire couldn't say she was familiar with her at all. Those sort of situations seemed too commonplace for Claire's liking. "Ultimate talent, huh?" Claire said offhandedly.

"Yeah, every Hope's Peak Academy student has one. Or at least, if you're a a part of the main school anyway." He turned to look at her. "Well, I can't say I have much of one. The Ultimate Lucky Student. I won a lottery to come here."

"Ah, yes..." Claire tried shrugging this off. "I heard about that... you know, before I came here. To teach." She cleared her throat and leaned toward Azura. "Uh, anyway, I'm pretty sure this is just intentional busywork."

It was then that Gentaro would reveal a school textbook on the floor. It looked like a large one, so it had to be important.

"Ugh, come on, Kyoko!" Junko exclaimed. "Toko has a really big ugly mouth, but she has a point! I'm trying to be the Ultimate Matchmaker here."

Elliot leaned in toward Nathan. "This is... embarassing. Is that a normal feeling witnessing something like this?"

Junko crossed her arms, looking Kyoko square in the face. "I'm like, so tired of watching you guys do this 'will they or won't they' crap for like years now. At this rate, you'll both graduate without ever acknowledging what is completely obvious, even to nasty little girls like Toko! Either you're really an Ultimate Detective or you're an Ultimate Dolt because honestly, I don't get it. I think our entire class, the audience to your blindingly obvious escapades, have been starting to wonder if things are even gonna happen between you guys!"

Elliot cleared his throat. "If I may... Makoto should still be in the dormitories, right? Maybe we should head there?"

Azura felt Claire eyeing her, and while she vaguely remembered her from her first interactions with the multiverse she was sure Claire didn't remember her. She wasn't sure if they even interacted much at all back then.

When they talked about ultimate talents, she thought it was a bit odd.

"Yes, he's a very hardworking boy." She commented idly, moving some hair behind her ear.

"So, other than the main school, the other students don't have ultimate talents then?" She hummed in an attempt at conversation.

GENTARO KISARAGI

Gentaro picked up the book and returned to Makoto, Claire, and Azura.

“Yo! Got the book!” Gentaro called out, waving over to the group.

"Good job." She added, with a small nod towards Gentaro. At least he made quick work of it.

"I guess we should return this and find Kyoko then, hm?" She hummed, arms crossed behind her back.

"Yes," Wanda agreed with Elliot. "It feels like there are some unresolved...tension between you two that needs to be discussed." She hastily added. "Forgive me if I speak out of turn, but situations like these can have negative consequences on your school performances and we can't have that now can we?"

Nathan had his brows furrowed in confusion and unamuse as he watched the three girls bicker, wondering if this was the worse place yet- yeah Elliot died at Blackwell, but now he's trapped listening to teenage girls argue. Which was worse?

He was pulled out of his thoughts as Elliot leaned in to speak with him, the other man's breath tickling his neck. He went to speak but Bridgette cut in seeming just as annoyed, making Nathan let out a small laugh.

"Yeah, they're fucking morons," he replied, throwing an arm over the other man's shoulder as he suggested leaving.

"I agree can we get the fuck out of here, I don't know if I can take the bickering."

"Mm," Giorno quietly hummed in agreement with Elliot, rubbing his temple with one hand when Toko and Junko began running their mouths again. There was something eerily mysterious about Kyoko as she spoke, eliciting a furrow of Giorno's brow when she questioned Makoto's reason for wanting to meet with her. That is a good question... we forgot to ask him why he needed to see her so badly.

With a wave of his hand, he gestured Elliot, Nathan, and Touma (assuming he wants to leave to avoid further ridicule) to follow him. It looked like he wasn't going to wait around for their 'tour guide'.

"Frankly, I don't really care about that business, so I'm going to go look for Makoto," the boy curtly announced, turning to Kyoko. "You're welcome to join me if you'd like. I'm sure Makoto'll come running the moment I tell him we found you anyway."

Giorno's hands sunk into his pockets, as he quietly moved out from the library, stepping down the hallway to where he believed the dormitories to be. If Junko was willing to lead him there, Giorno wasn't going to stop her, but this academy surely isn't as big on the inside as it looks on the outside.

Surely.

"... Be that as it may, I hardly think it's your business to interfere, Junko, and even less the business of these people you just met," Kyoko said after a brief pause. Even to those around who might have only met her for the first time here, it was clear that while she was normally stoic and unflinching in the face of many a trial, she had her own fair share of buttons to push, as her pale face flushed ever so slightly despite attempts to remain as stone-faced as ever.

"W-What was that about my mouth?! I-I'm not nasty!" Toko only exclaimed in response to Junko.

With a lightly discomforted sigh, Kyoko crossed her arms before speaking again. She didn't exactly love being led around, especially by people she didn't know, but the way Giorno was off so fast, it seemed the decision was made for her. She gazed briefly toward Toko, giving a short wave. "Put the textbook back for me, if you could. I guess I'll be seeing Naegi now."

"Snrk, have fun..."

With that, as Kyoko began walking with everyone following suit, the lavender-haired detective glanced toward Junko as she strolled next to her. "Sooner or later, we'll have to have a talk about your intrusion in my personal affairs," she said. Her formal way of saying "don't butt in" if there ever was one.

"Ah, good...!" Makoto happily took the textbook and quickly made his way toward the door back into the hall. Unfortunately, he quickly found that it was stuck tight. He pushed against it vainly a few times before Claire stepped in. She slammed against it hard, harder than one might have expected of her, but still the door would not budge.

"This is annoying," she said.

"Hehe, sure." Junko grinned ear-to-ear, obviously not heeding any sense of warning from Kyoko's words. "You need to learn to go with the flow a bit more!"

The trip back down the stairs was uneventful, but as soon as the dorms were approached, the group found themselves stopped by a bunch of construction equipment doing work on the hall.

"This stuff totally was not here a few minutes ago," Junko groaned. "How is anyone supposed to get to the dorms!?"

@Yun Lee @Crunch @Jeremi @Ver @Space_Candy @Lucky @Hall

Nathan followed the small group down the stairs and away from the girl, who eventually followed. As they reached the hallway to presumably the dorm area- there was construction.

Nathan narrowed his eyes, clearly confused at the loud sounds of a jackhammer and other heavy machinery. He knew that some light construction was normal but this during class hours? He raised a brow as Junko mentioned it wasn't there mere moments ago, which jogged his memory.

It really wasn't.

Nathan sighed before walking up to one of the construction workers, waving a hand in an attempt to grab the man's attention.

"The fuck is going on? We need to get through," he said blandly, wanting to just move on.

@Atomic Knight @Yun Lee @Crunch @Jeremi @Ver @Lucky @Hall

The construction worker pointedly ignored Nathan for a moment, surveying the other workers. By the time Elliot joined them, the man finally acknowledged Nathan. "Sorry, kid, no can do," he said. "You'll have to wait until we're done."

"I don't have a good feeling about this," Elliot said in a low whisper to Nathan. "I can try... doing something about them. With my powers."

@Space_Candy

Nathan frowned, glaring at the worker as he was denied access- even more so as he was called 'kid'. As he noticed Elliot's presence, the other man leaned into him, before speaking. The man's whisper sending chills down his body.

He reached a hand to reassure Elliot- but froze as he mentioned using his powers. Elliot's powers were strong and dangerous. These men were just doing their job.

"Uh, Elliot- what do you mean by that?" He whispered back, a small amount of unease in his voice.

@Atomic Knight

Elliot considered the question for a moment before casually shrugging. "I don't really know. I haven't had a chance to test out my powers since we left my loop. They were perfectly fine there, but being out here... in another universe... I have memories of my powers not being so reliable outside of any universe related to mine, which is kind of strange when I think about it."

The young man let out a long sigh. "My powers were born out my body being displaced across time and space. That gave me power over time and space... within my own dimension and dimensions that exist as alternates of it. You would think that my powers would not work at all outside of them, instead of simply being limited. The multiverse is quite odd, is it not?"

Unbeknownst to Elliot, Junko had wandered over to the pair of them.

qHxbJYe.png

"Uh, are you two over here LARPing or something? Is that your thing?"

"I-I don't even know what that is!" Elliot said, looking rather flushed suddenly. He looked to Nathan. "My point is, I shouldn't accidentally kill them or anything. Okay?"
