In a burst of excited photons and scattered exotic particles, the massive Starhawk Grael’quenoxis appeared once more within Isiria. This time however, there was no giant beacon to announce their presence.
Immediately upon arrival, the Khav’nen class starhawk Vladnixian separated from it’s larger brethren and vanished off within a wormhole of it’s own seconds before watchtower began to power up and generate the artificial ion storms that would soon blanket the Gaelian system.
It was bound off on an errand of it’s own, headed towards the nearest sizeable black hole that could be found from Isirian space.
With the other parts of their original plans no longer necessary, the Grael’quenoxis simply remained in standby, while a smaller Tsrin’nen class starhawk departed from within it and swiftly made it’s way towards the watchtower. Aboard would be found Frey’nja Va’remaeus, the group’s Systems Curator and the corporeal shell housing Xilunexus the Va’nyrian’s most advanced and emancipated Artificial Intelligence, whose duty it was to ensure all traces of Aschen control were removed from the watchtowers.
Frey’nja and Xilunexus would be received by the Isirian military aboard the Gaelian Watchtower who began boarding procedures. Once aboard they would be met by the Isirian commander in charge of the operation herself.
“Welcome aboard,” she greeted. “I am commander Samantha Reevus. There remains no sign of the Aschen, but neutralizing the watchtowers in preparation for their removal from our systems remains our number one priority. We cannot risk the Aschen remote accessing them, or self-destructing them. The ion storms should prevent their return while you work.”
“Shouldn’t take too long,” replied Frey’nja cockily. “From the data you’ve given the Starspeaker, should be a breeze for me to take care of any physical problems.”
“I will interface myself with the watchtowers systems, I will then take care of any surprises they might have left in it’s software and assume total control before proceeding with what your people may need,” added the AI demurely.
“Please, take us as close as you can to a major hub of data.”
