The Gaelian System is one of four systems and makes up the center of several allied systems. The central planets are heavily populated and their cities the pinnacle of technological advancements. Clean streets are devoid of pollution or the homeless - which are typically relocated to the outer planets to make a way for themselves. Many central planets have been populated with sprawling cities broken only by stretches of pristine lakes, and perfectly cultivated stretches of protected parkland. Everything has a synthetic and almost too perfect look to it.

Orbiting the Gaelian System are three neighboring systems of varying habitability.

In a burst of excited photons and scattered exotic particles, the massive Starhawk Grael’quenoxis appeared once more within Isiria. This time however, there was no giant beacon to announce their presence.

Immediately upon arrival, the Khav’nen class starhawk Vladnixian separated from it’s larger brethren and vanished off within a wormhole of it’s own seconds before watchtower began to power up and generate the artificial ion storms that would soon blanket the Gaelian system.

It was bound off on an errand of it’s own, headed towards the nearest sizeable black hole that could be found from Isirian space.

With the other parts of their original plans no longer necessary, the Grael’quenoxis simply remained in standby, while a smaller Tsrin’nen class starhawk departed from within it and swiftly made it’s way towards the watchtower. Aboard would be found Frey’nja Va’remaeus, the group’s Systems Curator and the corporeal shell housing Xilunexus the Va’nyrian’s most advanced and emancipated Artificial Intelligence, whose duty it was to ensure all traces of Aschen control were removed from the watchtowers.

Frey’nja and Xilunexus would be received by the Isirian military aboard the Gaelian Watchtower who began boarding procedures. Once aboard they would be met by the Isirian commander in charge of the operation herself.

“Welcome aboard,” she greeted. “I am commander Samantha Reevus. There remains no sign of the Aschen, but neutralizing the watchtowers in preparation for their removal from our systems remains our number one priority. We cannot risk the Aschen remote accessing them, or self-destructing them. The ion storms should prevent their return while you work.”

“Shouldn’t take too long,” replied Frey’nja cockily. “From the data you’ve given the Starspeaker, should be a breeze for me to take care of any physical problems.”

“I will interface myself with the watchtowers systems, I will then take care of any surprises they might have left in it’s software and assume total control before proceeding with what your people may need,” added the AI demurely.

“Please, take us as close as you can to a major hub of data.”

Some time later…

After making short work out of the watchtower’s systems, Frey’nja and Xilunexus boarded the waiting Tsrin’nen on their way back to Grael’quenoxis. The watchtowers were now in total control of the Isirian government for as long as they wanted them, with their functionality now governed by a simplified facsimile of Xilunexus at their command.

Preparations had already begun to evacuate Isirian personnel off from the Watchtowers in preparation for the removal of the Watchtowers from the Isirian systems, but for the time being they were deemed safe. The ion storms would be maintained as active for the duration of the evacuations.

Some time later...

With the Watchtowers evacuated, it was time to initiate the final stages of Operation Black Sky.
