Slice of life gone Pokemon IC

Heidi only seemed to get angrier. She stomped her foot on the ground. "Team Skull are way better than Team Rocket!" She shouted. "Guzma would wipe the floor with Giovanni, easy! Just like I'm gonna wipe the floor with you!" Even as she said this, she watched her Vikavolt get barrelled into by the bright flaming foot. Thanks to Vikavolt's average health and slightly higher than average defence, the bug pokemon held on by just the tiniest slither. "Don't call my Vikavolt tiny!" She spat. "Vikavolt, use Air Slash!"

Blaziken didn't dodge fast enough. He got clipped. Granted the pokemons speed was high so he didn't take the brunt of the damage. Good. "Oooohhhhh I know who you guys are. I watched a news report on alola once. A group of team skull guys tried to rob a bakery. Ended up covered in pie. The baker didn't even have to pull out a Pokemon apparently." Alex chuckled at the thought. "Blaziken! Brave bird!" The Fast Pokemon jumped into the air before barreling at the vikavolt at Lightning speed.

(So who's gonna win here because I don't want this battle to last forever.)

"Do you think the bug stands a chance?" Marcus asked the resting Luxio laying at his feet. Raising its head, Luxio made a low pitched growl. "Yea, me neither." Marcus replied back petting his friend. Marcus looked back at the unfamiliar Pokémon intrigued by it and its trainers intentions.

Anthony watches the start of the battle, he watched intently as the two pokemon began to brawl. The lady said that she was part of Team Skull, a small time gang from the looks of things. Or a powerful one based on how she pretty much started a fight in broad daylight. He had to do something but didn't want to get directly involved. He looked around to see if there are any authorities around to stop this before anyone gets hurt. He didn't see any officers but he did see a man with a Luxio watching the battle.

"Hey! You with the Luxio! Aren't you going to do anything?" He calls out.

A sudden voice in the distance broke Marcus' gaze from the battle. "Its all good there bud, I think they have it under control." Marcus replied back, turning his gaze back to the battle.

((From looking at the teams, Alex seems the more likely winner. Can you do the timeskip?))

Heidi grit her teeth. "Those are just the weak ones!" She claimed. "Any Team Skull member worth their salt could rob ten bakeries in ten minutes!" Even as she said this, she watched Vikavolt go down. She let out an angry scream of sorts, returning the pokemon. "Go, Growlithe!" She shouted, obviously only getting angrier. She was ready for a full on fist fight at this point.

Alex wasn't even slightly nervous. He was his usual cocky self. And enraging the opponent was a good way to distract her. "You'd sure about that?" He asked. Taunting her. "Cause you don't seem too bright. I watched the news report in reds arrival in alola. You guys were dumb enough to try and rib him. He's the most famous Pokemon trainer in the world and you tried to rob him. Honestly. Your all just petty thieves. Blaziken use sky uppercut!"

"Yeah, the useless ones are dumb as hell!" Heidi barked. "You just wait, speaking about us like that in Alola gets you beaten, bad!" It turned out that the Growlithe was a little pokemon, as the one hit knocked it out with no time for resistance. Heidi started at the pokémon as she returned it. "You've got to be kidding me," she muttered under her breath. She didn't even announce it as she brought out her Steenee. "Use Teeter Dance!" She screamed, desperate to get in the confusion-causing move before the Blaziken could attack again.

"Oh fudge. Confusion. Blaziken return! Go raichu!" Alex threw out his Alolan raichu. "Chu" the psychic Pokemon shouted. "You know. Alola may not be big league but it sure has some interesting Pokemon." Alex said. "No Pokemon league though. Kinda sad honestly. No gyms either. Just island trials. Raichu! Use psychic!"

Heidi chuckled. Maybe there was common ground there; in a community where the Island Trials seemed like everything, Heidi thought they were worth a 'just'. She didn't mention this, watching as the powerful Psychic attack docked off over half of Steenee's health. "Use Magical Leaf!" She called.

The magical leaf hit. The raichu was not having a good time. "Raichu! Thunderbolt!" Alex shouted. At his command a powerful arc of lightning cast from the sky.

Despite the move not being very effective, Steenee's health was low and it was enough to knock her out. Heidi just rolled her eyes, knowing at this point that she wasn't going to win the battle. She didn't have any intentions of going to the back of the queue, though. "Go, Mareanie! Use Bite!"

Marcus' jaw dropped. "That Raichu just used psychic..." Marcus said under his breath. Even Luxio had now taken interest in the battle, sitting on its hind legs rather than laying down. The two had watched Blaziken tear through the girl's first two Pokémon. But after getting confused he was switched out for.. well what Marcus thought was a Raichu. It looked like a Raichu but its features were rounded rather than stick out. Also this Raichu had learned a move that Marcus didn't think Raichu could learn. He was in awe of this Pokémon. Focusing on the battle again, Marcus watched as the girl recalled her grass type, and sent out another Pokémon Marcus did not recognize. "This just keeps getting more and more interesting" he thought to himself, watching the new Pokémon launch its maw at the Raichu.

Raichu's body dodged the attack but his tail got bruised. Without its tail raichu couldn't hover. Alex gritted his teeth. "Your not winning this battle! Thug!" He yelled at the girl. "Raichu return! Go Ratticate! Use hype fang!"

Heidi smiled smugly. "I think you'll find, I am!" She replied. Mareanie attempted to slip out of the way, but one of the tentacles on her head got caught in the Raticate's teeth. "Use Venoshock!"

The ratticate was poisoned till it fainted. It's a good thing that wasn't my last resort Alex thought. He threw his raichu back out and used a couple of potions too heal it. "Bet you weren't expecting that! And now I have a type advantage! Use thunderbolt!" Another arc of lightning crashed down from the sky.

Heidi's mouth fell open in anger. "You can't use multiple Potions in one turn!" She shouted as Mareanie went down. She pouted, returning the pokemon. "We might do all sorts, sure, but at least we're not filthy cheaters!" She spat, words more toxic than her own pokémon's moves.

"What are you talking about?" Alex asked. "Turns? We don't have any concept like that in sinnoh. Enlighten me on these turns please." Alex totally forgot he was in a battle. He was interested in "turns"

(Actually because my ratticate fainted I had to recall it and then use another Pokemon. I did this several times already and it's totally in the rules. I think.)

Heidi shot the blonde boy one of her signature glares. "Buzz off." She spat, picking up her tray from the table and returning to moving up the line. They were close enough to the front that she could pay for what she had randomly picked up and find a table.

Well the battle may have ended weirdly but the girl was still cutting the line. That glare wasn't earning her any points either. Guess it was time for drastic measure. Bratty measures. Alex hit the girl in the back of the head with a hamburger. "Food fight!" He yelled.
