Ages Eternal [Announcement] The Great Marriage - New plot arc

Lazzamore

WAAAAAAAAAA-
Hello again! We are going to be doing a new plot arc - A special event I thought up and had @ChelonianCommander and @TheGreenerGrey help with. So a special thanks to them! Half the character's I'll introduce here are from them!

The idea is that the Chaos Mother, a mysterious force that existed before reality destroyed her, has a strange figure known as "The Fool" deliver her last remaining unformed shards to the gods of Idain. These shards are each sentient in their own right, and form into new gods, offered to the old gods in an arranged marriage. Each of us receives one per player, chosen here, and takes control of that character as they are arranged to marry one of our old characters. Idain gods are whom this is primarily for, but Obus gods can take part as well, lets just leave four or so for characters from Idain.

The Chaos Gods are listed below. Each player gets one, four of them are for Idain characters. If too few players take them, players with more than one character can have more than one. After you pick a character here, they are considered your character in all intents and purposes.
As written by ChelonianCommander
Name: Telum & Felum & Helum
Domain(if applicable): Past, Now and Future
Powers/advantages: The triplet Gods can recall any event that has happened, see anything that is currently happening, or see every event that will happen, save for events that will happen to them. They can communicate with mortals through dreams, by showing them visions of the past, present or future. No one can really know/
Quirks/disadvantages: The only have one eye among them. Without it the others two heads cannot see, but the one holding the eye can. The three are constantly infighting among themselves about who should use the eye next. When they influence mortals, all three gods must agree that they must do it. There is not 2/3 rule or anything. All gods must agree which mortal they will influence and if they will show the mortal the past, present or future.
Motivations: The three have no real motive and will act accordingly to their domain. Telum will look to the past and will use the past as an example before doing anything. Felum will look at the situation right now and make a decision without any regards for the past or future. Helum will look to the future and will select which time line he would like to see come to fruition .
Appearance: Telum, Felum and Helum are triplet gods. They are all cyclops with one eye socket and one loose eye to share between them. They are not separate entities however. While each of them have a mind of their own, and share their own personality, they are in reality three heads attached to one great body. Other than that, they look like mostly like a large man with two legs and three arms, with each brother controlling one arm. They wear a tunic, and have a pretty tooth necklace which the brothers also share between them.

Name:
Verum
Domain(if applicable): Truth
Powers/advantages: Verum can see through any reflective surface, as well as travel through them. She can create clones of a target's true self, showing them the harsh truth of what they really are. Verum can always see the truth hidden within any lie and can see a person's true self within any reflective surface.
Quirks/disadvantages: Verum cannot say a lie or be lied to, meaning even if she doesn't like it she must speak the truth.
Motivations: Verum wishes to eradicate the world of deception and lies. Lies bring harm, but so can the truth, but unlike the truth, lies ONLY brings harm.
Appearance: Verum is a humanoid figure that takes the form of a human female made of glossy, mirror like ice. She is cold to the touch and like ice, will shatter if she is struck hard enough. Her eyes resemble that of mirrors that show a person's true self and shoulder length her hair is has the feel and look of glass, while moving and acting like normal hair. She doesn't wear clothes as that would hide her true self.

Name: Averel, the Lady of the Gamble
Domain(if applicable): Fortune (Primarily), Equality
Powers/advantages: Averel is capable of influencing the reality of any situation so that the outcome will be what she wishes.
Quirks/disadvantages: Averel is unable to influence gods of equal power in any way, their essence rejecting her. For every situation that she influences, somewhere an equal and opposite reaction occurs. Eg. She saves a forest in Obus. Later, a desert is flooded in Idain.
Motivations: Averel wishes for there to be absolute equality for all. Prejudice, racism, birth, anything that could potentially place one below or above another is to be eradicated. Only through ones own effort and luck should they be allowed to succeed. She does not view being born to a good family as luck, instead viewing it more like cheating.
Appearance:

Name:
Befarnel, the End
Domain(if applicable): Disasters (Famine, Floods, Wildfires etc)
Powers/advantages: Befarnel is capable of causing mass havoc everywhere he goes. A mere thought from him can sweep forests clear in a tide of water, or send a city into starvation.
Quirks/disadvantages: Befarnel is both a powerful but weak god. At full power, he could easily take on another god and come out on top. However, this is never to happen. As a force of nature, he is unable to act upon anything with his full might that is not deemed necessary to be destroyed by his core. Even then, all that he is allowed to touch are certain places.
Motivations: Befarnel wishes for the destruction of everything, to wipe clean the world in a swirl of flame, water, wind and earth as the very world destroys itself. He is unable to do this however, as his very being restrains himself.

Motivations:

Powers/advantages:
Creative mind and captivating storytelling skills, Ihnja can solve problems skillfully. Her domain is over Tradition, and she can govern over snakes for those who remember and respect their lawful roots.
Quirks/disadvantages:

Motivations:
He believes in the Circle of life through death, and wishes for only the strong to survive.
Appearance:
A strong, hairy man with a mighty fire-sphere in place of his middle torso.

Name: Basulla, the Copper Maiden
Domain(if applicable):
Chivalry, forgiveness, selflessness
Powers/advantages:
Extreme beauty that commands respect. She will not tolerable things outside of her view of respect, and creulty is punished harshly.
Quirks/disadvantages:
Harsh and narrow-minded. She will not accept that which is outside of her ideal culture of nearly-stiff kindness for the treatment of others.
Motivations:
To imbue in the world a sense of respect, sibling-hood and fairness. To uplift fair leadership and punish wrongdoing against the underdog.
Appearance:
Beautiful in a frightful way. Her form (and herself) demands fear and respect.

Basulla looks pretty cool, and would be an interesting foil for Aether.

Since that's all the Idain players who have posted recently, I will go ahead and post my claim as well. I don't want to take options away from the players as GM, so don't be afraid to approach me if you wanted to use any characters I claim.

If no one else wishes to take part in this story arc, those of us with more then one character can claim a second.

Dymos will take Averel, hold the cheese, and a large fries.

@Zangyl @Machina Somnium : Just wanted to ensure you have seen this and had the opportunity to participate. You two are the only active players I have yet to talk about this with. Pretty much what you need to know is that some of current gods are getting arranged marriages to the Chaos Mother's kids, and then new players will be given the choice to make new godly characters that are children of our current characters. If you want to participate, you can choose an NPC and 'adopt' it to be your character. The ones that are left are Esces - god of war, Biarus Quickfire - god of disease, and Helum, Felum and Telum - Siamese triplet gods of fate.

I'd love to marry Esces to Illuminae.

Thou i do have a question; may i - in time - alter Esces in such a way that he comes to compliment Illuminae in ways that Illuminae is currently lacking..? I believe that in marriage; people change, and so do gods. So i think that Illuminae's soft and sweet side would somehow chip away Esces rough edges.

I'm just asking if i could, because it would allow for AWESOME dialogue and even cooler new stories.

So yeah; if its allowed (and probably even if it isnt) i'd like to claim Esces.
