whats your favorite fictional race to roleplay as?

I personally like roleplaying shifters, it's like roleplaying different characters. It's fun to write about the transformation especially and at times challenging. :>

Vampires depending on the lore can shift appearance. So I can sympathize with that, it makes for a spicy roleplay when your character can look like different people.

Yes it definitely makes it interesting, I also like those who shift into animals. Werecat, werewolf, etc.

In a more fantasy setting I'd do the same, but it'd be weird to shift to a werewolf when you Rp in a setting where you could have tactical nukes dropped on you just for looking out of place lol.

Any of the Elven race. If you can't tell. I'm a bit stereotypical in that sense, but I have a weak spot for nature. ^^"
Either Elves or a Draconic or Sorcery based race.
Dragons are amazing and Magic is wondrous.

Any aquatic race! I've always liked the ocean (due in part to being from an archipelagic country?) so roleplaying some sort of aquatic race is something really fun and interesting for me. Also, H.P. Lovecraft had a thing for writing fish people.

I like roleplaying elves (like from Lord of the Rings...not the stupid little guys with pointy toes).

Mind Flayers. They're tall humanoid cthulhu monsters that eat the brains of sentient creatures and amass their knowledge into a giant horrifying pile of nightmare fuel called an Elder Brain.

usually for non-human characters I really enjoy making up my own species/race to rp as (if its not a fixed setting),

in a fixed setting, I'd usually go for plant people or bug people if given the choice
