Favorite Musicals?

So I glanced over this forum and didn't see any thread for this, so thought I'd make one because I'm a bit of a musical nerd. :' )

What are some of your favorite musicals? Or otherwise, favorite musical OSTs or soundtracks as a whole? Have you seen any musicals live, recently, or even been in them?

Personally, I'm a huge sucker for Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chill, Waitress, Heathers, and Hamilton to name a few. I could listen to them for hours.

Gypsy is my all-time favorite tbh. I also really love Singin' in the Rain, Chicago, and Paint Your Wagon (the movie version).

I really love musicals, since as a child I always found it amazing how they could explain a lot in just one song and that always was so entertaining to me.
I had saw some musicals live: The Lion King; Mamma Mia; Wicked, Beauty and the Beast; We Will Rock You; The Phantom of the Opera.

Ahh, Wicked and PotO are also great ones, definitely. Into The Woods, Les Mis, and Next to Normal were also all pretty good.

I've seen Fiddler On The Roof and Miss Saigon on broadway, fan-fucking-tastic shows and old classics. Haven't seen any of the most popular ones though, like Hamilton or Les Mis.

(...ive also seen School of Rock if that counts, lol)

I'm still new to some musicals, but total Hamiltrash right here. I've seen Les Mis...well, the movie if that counts. Don't get me started on Heathers omg.

I still need to get into Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen, and Be More Chill. >-<

Currently have Micheal in the bathroom and Waving through a window stuck in my head though.

I will finish my corruption of dragging you into DEH, Waitress, and BMC if it's the last thing I do.....

If I have to pick one OST, it's the Groundhog Day, but I generally like most musicals. Groundhog Day just happens to be one of the four I have seen on Broadway. Though, I do hold a special place for Phantom and Wicked for introducing me to musicals.

Cats (I know, I know, but I'm obsessed with the animal, and I've seen the play at least 5 times including on Broadway)
25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (one of the most hilarious musicals I have ever seen)
Lion King
Urinetown
Fiddler on the Roof
Chicago
Hairspray
Newsies
Mama Mia
Rock of Ages

Newsies was a favorite when I was a kid.
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is a great oldie with Howard Keel
Galavant, If you haven't watched it, you need to

Haven't seen a lot of these, but I watched Legally Blonde after seeing a priceless clip of it on YouTube.

Other than that, I loved Jesus Christ Superstar.

I'm gonna be super basic and say Hamilton and The Book of Mormon. I also dig Rent, Sweeney Todd (not the movie), Little Shop of Horrors and Les Miserables.
