Hiya, I'm Kitty. I have been rping for several years and love it. The previous site I was on was more for younger ages and was dying anyway, so... I'm here!

I looked up "top roleplaying sites" and a list with you as the top result appeared. I've looked around, and while I'm a bit frustrated by the lack of separation between 1-0n-1s and group rps in the thread categories, I'm excited to be here! I hope I can learn, be accepted (that sounds weird...), and have fun.

I'm into fantasy<3, supernatural, romance, alternate histories, superheroes, academies(though I'm quite bad at planning classes and things) and other stuff that is slipping my mind, but I'm willing to try almost anything.

I hardly ever do group rps. They just don't seem to work well for me. I'm a 1-on-1er, but if it really, really interests me, I will join a group rp. (I'm a bit distressed by the number of group rps here. )

So, guys, I have to apologize beforehand. I'm not amazing at coming up with things anymore. I used to be incredible at it, but then some old rps dragged me down and I lost that amazing ability. I will try to put a large effort into planning, I really will, but I can make no promises. Other peoples plots -- yes please; my plots -- I can't promise any sort of detail or even quality.

Another thing to apologize about: my posts are not always that great. Sometimes I can pump out ten paragraphs, sometimes three is a struggle. I will TRY, I swear, to do my utmost, and I hope I am not scaring people away. Hopefully, the more I rp I will be able to get back into it. At the moment my antidepressants aren't working, so I'm pretty low, but (how many times will I say it?) I. Will. Try.

I'm actually a writer, and have been for years, so I think I'm pretty good at the nitty-gritty of writing. I try super hard on my grammar, and I ask that you put in an effort as well. We all mess up, and I won't expect perfection, but please, please try. I have a friend who it my unofficial editor, and she is amazing with catching and correcting the slips in my writing.

I am female, 18, and decidedly human. I have many flaws.

Did I freak you out or turn you off toward me? Yikes, I hope not. DON'T BE SCARED. I'M WONDERFUL.

In other news, hey! Welcome to STC! The friendliest and most open role-playing community there is! It's new and it's a bit smaller than other RP sites but I'm sure with time, love and effort put into it, it'll grow to be a prosperous and well-known site among the role-playing community. We're very glad to have someone new! Start spamming general discussions whilst you're at it. Tell us more about yourself, interests and maybe someone can hook you up with some of the good stuff.

Hey there and welcome to Storyteller's Circle

We initially didn't separate them because the site simply wasn't large enough. Multiple sub-forums would have left all of the forums looking empty, which isn't good for attracting new users. We actually only just hit our first year running!

That said, we have grown quite a lot in that year, and re-designing the bulletin board for ease of use is on our short list!

In the meanwhile, the prefixes are click-able. If you click the 1x1 it will pull up a list of only the 1x1 threads for example. Hope that helps until we get it tidied up.
