Awaiting a challenger(

Tales of a formidable beast terrorizing towns have been spread around. With a height equalling 2 fully grown men and a length of 3, few were foolish enough to stand against such a threat and found themselves overwhelmed by claw, beak and talon. Harboring traits from lions and eagle, one would quickly denote this creature as a Griffin, but something was very much different about him. Similar yet different than your run of the mill Centaur, 2 conjoined lion bodies made up the frame of this particular amalgamation; a bipedal torso attached to a quadruped body where the head would normally be attached. Both of which were lined with medium length, tawny brown fur.

His cranium was a white feathered head, a pronounced, golden hooked beak and a differing shade of gold in the piercing gaze of his eyes; accompanying black round pupils on constant alert. Wrapped around his neck not unlike a scarf and covering the breadth of his chest was a dense mane of dark brown fur with scattered streaks of blonde and black. Adorning the sides of his minor torso were a quartet of well muscled arms, each feline sporting similar tan pelage with large powerful paws and sheathed sturdy claws within the tips of the digits. Also in a set of four were the legs of his lower body that carried this tanky Taur forth. The forelimbs were half feathered from knees down with deadly golden yellow talons as feet. The rearmost legs were nearly identical to his arms above barring the scaled up size and considerably more amount of muscle. Pitch as the night sky, a pair of plumaged wings jutted from the shoulders of each the bodies. Roughly resembling a cape of sorts, both pairs folded seamlessly together along the entire back of his frame, drooping over his upper shoulders and sides somewhat and ending just passed where his tail feathers began. Colored white with a black, covert base, these rectrices acted as the tip of the slender, tan lion tail jutting from the rear of his body.

Though something not normally present in either of his composed species various parts of him. A trio of fin shaped structures protruded from his head, each with bone ridges of the same white color and beige webbing strung across. Webbed skin also interconnected each of the 5 digits of his paws the frontal 3 of his talons. The ovoid nares on his beak were able to be replaced by a quintet of diagonal openings closer the the front that acted as gills. These were features were attributed to him by the Aerasginero; an aquatic subspecies of the mystical bird cats. Masters of land, air and sea, they additionally boasted the ability to morph their normal humanoid forms to the guise of a much larger and powerful feral, four legged monsters, though at the loss of some self control. A somewhat rare and elusive mutation can blend these attributes, nullifying their ability to transform and disfiguring them in some ways. Often creating Tauroid variants, Aerasginero of this kind were seen as a halfway point between the two forms and harbored strength accordingly.

The genetic alteration is what fell upon this individual 3 centuries ago and his status during that time was unpleasant to say the least. Born an anthropomorphic warrior, he lived for 2 and a half millennia before things took an agonizing turn for the worst, and the better as he would come to realize. For seemingly an eternity his body gradually twist, bend and grow into the fearsome dodecepede seen in present day. He became a bit of a recluse, viewing his ever changing physique as a curse. This was until after it reached its conclusion and he realized just how much more strength and versatility this form garnered. Sure it wasn't as lethal as the feral combatant he previously had access to, but he was certain it would prove much favorable.

As the composite monster trekked on, he seemed from an outside perspective to be a thoughtless threat acting on pure animalistic fury. This was only half true, as it turned out. Tharraleos was this mutant hybrid’s name, and it had been far too long since his last compelling battle. The yearn to find a worthy opponent was on an all time high since his body had completed its mutation and he had grown accustomed to it. The dread he caused was a mere byproduct of mortal fear with no harm and minimal structural damage done. Perhaps his size had grown more than he thought and some of those buildings seemed to spawn from nowhere. But his newfound infamous reputation brought with it some potential contenders. All of whom had been a disappointment up to this point. Surely he was bound to encounter a capable fighter. Perhaps the humans just needed to scream a bit more. Left talon, left paw, right talon, right front leg; his usual 4 beat walk used in such a casual stroll through the grasslands as the nearing city drew closer and closer.

Whats the time-period? What kind of weapons can be used? Ancient, medieval, industrial-revolution, modern? Ranged, or melee only?

Well now that I'm finally at a point in life where I can partake in hobbies again, I've updated the original post in a way to reboot this for any and all who are interested. For whom it does concern, no sign up is really necessary. Just go ahead and throw your characters at my majestic bird cat, literally, if you so choose. Much obliged, in advance, for any inquiries.

Time placement is modern day, maybe near future with this particular rendition of the character (300 years).

Yes. This is an open challenge. Anyone can throw in whatever character they want, really. I even implore multiple challengers, as this thread was made to test Tharr's Tauroid capabilities.

Alright! So.... I'm not as fancy about my writing as you are. I'll do my best to be legitimate but I'm not like super descriptive. Is that okay?

Okay. I have an errand to run tomorrow, but I can post when I'm done so we can get started. Does your character have an application sheet I can check to see what his powers and abilities are?
