"Do you really suspect me that much? I'm hurt..." Raynar exclaimed with a hand to where his heart would be on his chest-plate. "Besides. Even if your supposed army was teleported in with you, don't you think they'd be here right now? They've either been killed by whatever the hell is roaming around this unknown place or ran off. So what I think we should do is team up for now as a temporary alliance, figure out what exactly is going on here and then after all of this is over? We'll go back home and go back to hating each other's guts, M'kay?"

"We are not paranoid. We are just careful around unknown people, especially when they are apparently not from our world. Now keep walking and stay near us, who knows if more of those bugs will show up." Reaper exclaimed, not giving a care that she basically threw a fit at him.

widowmaker-overwatch-77.3.jpg

"What can I say? I've killed a lot of people and earned the skill of expert sharpshooting." Widowmaker implied with a cocky chuckle but maintained her composure. "Put yourself into our shoes for a moment. Wouldn't you act this guarded around someone who lead an army towards you including a large wild creature? Tch. Vous devez être très confiant ou très stupide." She muttered the last part in french. If the pilot knew anything about other languages, then she'd figure out that what Widow said was You must be very confident or very stupid.

@Steely

Kiratta decided that perhaps debating about this wasn't going to work. As much as she wanted to drag this on and try her best to get into their heads that no, she had no intention of bringing a whole swarm of Geonosians and a damned Rancor to them given the fact that she never knew of their existence before meeting them, it was obvious that it would be less than fruitful. "Alright, alright. Keep an eye on me all you want, then. I won't try to justify myself any longer." She was rather impressed with herself: normally, she'd confront them relentlessly, thanks to her temper, though now she appeared to notice how it simply didn't matter. Shrugging, she continued to walk, finally having some peace after all the ordeal she went through.

"So, can I at least know something about you two?" She glanced over her shoulder, sparing them a single look before facing ahead again. "Neither of you look fully human, if you don't mind me saying. Not that it's bizarre or anything: my wingman is a Bothan himself." As they went on, the city somewhat grew denser, as if they approached its core. The fires raged louder, taller, and the corpses appeared to grow in number. In the distance, shots and roars echoed, followed by the odd explosion. A warzone, certainly. One that, as exhausted as it was, simply went on despite the chaos that already dawned upon it.

"Morrison did this to me." Reaper exclaimed as he continued walking. "That backstabbing bastard stole Overwatch from me. I was meant to be the leader, but he took all the credit and blamed me for past events. It was until I was revived by Angelia Ziegler and turned into this. Ever since then, I took on my new name, Reaper, and sworn to bring Overwatch down."

widowmaker-concept.jpg

"I had a husband. Gérard Lacroix. I loved him dearly. Until Talon had discovered he was a undercover agent for Overwatch. Ever since that was discovered, they launched numerous assassination missions against him and failed each one. So? They used me. I was kidnapped and experimented on to become what I am now: A deadly and lethal assassin, with barely any emotion left inside my body with a low blood pressure. Then I had an encounter with an old acquiescence... Ana. We had a snipe off and I pierced through her right eye before she knocked me out with a sleep dart. Once I had came to, I was back with Gérard." She paused for a moment, almost as if to provide suspense.

"Until a few weeks later. I killed him in his sleep. Since then, I've worked with Talon and picked up Reaper as a partner."
"I keep her back covered and she keeps me covered."
"And we occasionally bicker about the missions we've been on."
"Like the one before we were taken and dumped here."
"Like you would of predicted the random teleport, Reaper."
"Well you should of taken the fucking shot when you had the chance. Or were you too focused on being grabbed."
"The least you could of done afterwards was immediately get off me instead of groping my chest, Reaper."
"I did no such thing. I sat on your chest because of the teleport dumping me after you."
"Like I had to shove you off me?"

And they continued to bicker between each other for a while.

@Raynar Saassin

Shen narrowed his eyes, pondering Raynar’s words. But eventually he nodded, with a certain degree of reluctance. “Find then...For now, we have an alliance.” He said. Had he been human, he’d probably have said it through gritted teeth. “Let’s check the rest of the ship. See how many men are here, and if we can get it to fly again. We had some Huragok with us...With some luck, they’d be able to repair most of the damage.”

Upon hearing noises come from another corridor, the Field Master quickly looked in the direction of where it had come from, his Repeater aimed for the door...only to quickly lower it when a Sangheili Major, along with some Unggoy and a pair of Kig-Yar came in.

“Field Master! We-“ started the Major, before noticing Raynar. “The demon!” He exclaimed, eyes wide as one of his clawed hands quickly reached for a Plasma Rifle, unaware of the alliance between the Spartan and the Field Master.

"Aura. Right." Cal nodded lightly. More magic.

"So... does anyone here have a single idea as to what is going on? Because those," he pointed to the distance, where the dragon had presumable fallen, "are dragons. We do not have dragons back on Earth. On any of the colonial planets, really.We don't even have magic. Or monsters. Or magical monsters."

"One of our allies has gone missing. We suspect she's been taken by a monster while the rest of us were fighting, but we don't know where."

Corrin couldn't live in a world without magic. Did he really come from such a place? It must be dreadfully boring then...

@Agent Puncake

"Woah woah there, big guy." Raynar exclaimed, holding his hands out. "Me and your boss are in a temporary alliance, chill out." He exclaimed, furthering his point by putting his Shotgun back onto his back-plate. "See? I'm not holding my weapon anymore. So if you could just lower yours, then we can not cause unnecessary conflict, okay buddy?"

@Wyvern Rider

"You see..." Terra began to speak, making her the centre of focus in the group. "Those monsters are from my world... For some reason, they are naturally appearing here and attacking people..."

"So that's how you knew their weaknesses, and why you tasked me and Hector to deal with the Dragons because of our weapons..." Ephraim stated, giving her a smile. "That's right... And I could feel something that was inside of Corrin so I had faith that she'd handle the Bombs and the Ghost Creatures."

"Wait, so then..."

"Whoever is behind us being teleported is taking monsters from my world and having them roam around here..." Terra explained with a curious face on. Hector turned to notice a disgusting looking trail.

"Hey, guys. I think I might know where Undyne's gone. And might know who took her." Hector declared as he stood next to a slime trail. This should spark a flashback of a certain tentacle monster to Corrin.

@Hahli Nuva @Agent Puncake

"A slug?" Cal guessed. "Should be no problem then."

Although secretly he knew that whatever monster was behind this abduction of one of their group member, it must be quite powerful - at least, powerful enough that stomping on it won't solve any problems.

"And, uh, not quite only your world." He added after a second. "The guy in the mech that I told you to run from. He's a cop, corrupt one too. He's been looking for me for two years now, what with a bounty on my head and-" He stopped himself. "Anyway, yeah. More magical monsters, probably, but we might encounter some other people too. Some of them aren't the most rational or friendly of people."

@Raynar Saassin @Hahli Nuva

"That perverted octopus? Ultros was it?" Hector exclaimed, feeling a bit of a shiver. "I thought we eliminated that thing."

"Guess not if it somehow managed to kidnap Undyne while we weren't looking." Ephraim added, sharing a similar feeling but not showing it. He had to keep his confident expression after all. "We're just going to have to beat him again and rescue her."

"Ultros..." Terra muttered. "I never thought I'd face him again. He tried to stop me and my friends several times, he's a determined monster to be sure. I wonder if his friend, Mr Typhon is here as well..."

"Mr Typhon? Who the heck is that? Do I even want to know anyone related to that octopus thing?" "Well, we'll just have to beat him as well if we end up encountering him."

@Hahli Nuva @Agent Puncake

"So, stealthy then." Cal thought out loud. "Let's be careful when chasing the trail, then. Don't want to lose more people to sneak attacks. I can cloak and go in front as recon."

Kiratta listened intently for once, relishing in the moment of peace as they finally stopped pointing fingers at her and instead focused on something about themselves. Reaper's story was... confusing, to say the least. Something involving a Morrison, an Angela Ziegler, and bringing some organization down after being revived. Widowmaker's was a lot more explicit, and honestly speaking, touching. And disturbing, of course. To be turned into a killing machine destined to slit her husband's throat in his sleep, and then serving under those who transformed her into such a thing? She shivered just from imagining how the whole experience must've been. It just bugged her as to why she'd willingly serve under this Talon, though she wasn't in the mood for arguing.

Their words soon devolved into acid bickering as they argued over one's attempt at groping the other, though Kiratta managed to smile through it. Her 'leisure' time had just been extended, granting her enough time to focus on the situation at hand. With the sound of their seemingly incessant ranting on the background, she analyzed the city as they went, trying to at least gauge its technological level. It was... strange. Somewhere between archaic and moderately advanced, perhaps. The armaments scattered about were also a bit aged, at least in her eyes, lacking any signs of being capable of shooting lasers or energy blasts of any sort. Perhaps she was thrown back in time? It didn't make much sense since she could've ended in some random world, but the duo's presence only served to confuse her further. Her only guess at this point was that this was perhaps a meeting point between... universes.

Her thoughts would've delved deeper, but something caught her eye. In the distance, between the wreckage, a party seemed to be moving forward, their appearances as odd as she and the two 'Talon' operatives standing by her. "Hey, I detected a group up ahead. They..." She peeked to the side to get a better look. "They look out of place, I guess. Just like us."

"Terra, are you okay?" Hector asked, walking over to her as the party followed the trail. Same with Corrin, everyone drew their weapons and kept their guards up in case this was a trap. "I'm okay... Transforming into my Esper form and using one of the strongest Black Magic spells drained me quite a bit..." She exclaimed with a huff as she was struggling to walk. "I'll help you out, hop on my back. I'll carry you." "Are you sure?" "Yeah, what harm could it cause?" Terra then climbed onto Hector's back and sat on his shoulders as he continued to walk undeterred. He must be really strong.

Ephraim however, stopped moving for a moment and turned around to notice a party advancing on them. "Guys? We have some trouble. A group of three are approaching us." "How strong do they look?" "One black cloaked, one who appears to be... purple? And a regular female in a red uniform." "Should we wait for them? They could be friendly." "Your call Corrin. Do we group up with whoever's approaching us or expect them to attack and retaliate?"

Meanwhile in the distance behind Corrin's Party.

300px-Widowmaker-infiltration.jpg

"Let me see." Widowmaker exclaimed as she changed her weapon into Sniper Mode and aimed forward to indeed see a party in front of them. "There's five of them. Two girls and three men. One man in particular is heavily armoured and wielding a large axe, the other is wielding a lance. The other female is wielding a sword and the other male doesn't appear to be armed."

reaper-concept.jpg

"Hmm. Could be another party like us that was dumped here or natives of whatever this broken-down world is." Reaper exclaimed with a hint of curiosity in his voice. Widowmaker then turned towards the other two after de-scoping. "One of them has spotted us. The younger male of the group." "I'm going in there. You two approach at your own leisure." Reaper exclaimed as she shadowstepped into the middle of the party.

"Death walks among you. And it's time to Blossom."

"Who is this guy? And why does he look so edgy?" Hector exclaimed which earned a hmph from Reaper. "Hmph. You're all one to talk about appearances. Everyone here. State your names and ranks immediately. This is the only time I'm going to be nice. Failure to comply and Death shall blossom." He exclaimed in a dark gruff tone. He began to bring out his Hellfire Shotguns should he have to Death Blossom.

"Hector, Marquess of Ostia." "Hmm."
"Ephraim, Lord of Renais." "Hmm."
"Terra Branford." "Regular human female. And your rank?" "I don't have one..." "Hmm..."
"And you two. Name and Rank, now."

"Kiratta, stay behind me. I'll begin moving up but I'll keep my scope on them at all times. Stay vigilant, these guys could be enemies." Widowmaker exclaimed as she began slowly approaching the party while Reaper was "Interrogating" them."

@Agent Puncake @Hahli Nuva @Steely

Corrin steeled her fierce glare at the spirit, swiftly moving Omega Yato to her front. She stepped forwards in front of her team, frowning.

"You have a lot of nerve coming up to us and demanding personal information. I don't take too kindly to ghosts harrassing my friends."

@Raynar Saassin @Agent Puncake @Steely

"Feisty one are you?" Reaper responded with a huff. "You noble types are the very reason Talon was formed. But regardless on that subject. You all must of been attacked by various monsters and unknown creatures as well, right?"

"That's right..." Terra exclaimed, speaking up. "Hmm. Then working together would be a better alternative. As much as I'd hate the idea of teaming up with random strangers, like we've picked one up earlier, It seems to be our only choice." Reaper exclaimed with a grunt as he put his shotguns away.

reaper-concept.jpg

"I suppose Introductions are in order. I am Reaper, an Operative for the Agency known as Talon. If we are all from different universes then you won't know anything but know this: Me and my partner, Widowmaker, are extremely deadly operatives. Do not even attempt to double-cross us or we won't be so merciful." He then brought one of his fingers towards what looked like a communicator on his head. "Widowmaker, do not engage. We are good to go here." Then a female's voice could be heard faintly from it. "Understood. We're moving in."

widowmaker-concept.jpg

"Kiratta, we've moving in more calmly now. But keep your guard up, just in case. This could be a trap for all we know."

@Hahli Nuva @Agent Puncake @Steely

Corrin gave Reaper a once over, not liking his attire or personality one bit. Everything about this man spelled evil, even his aura was black. Whatever happened to him, he was not human and Corrin didn't like the idea of an unhinged hothead on their side. She would have to discuss this with Hector, Ephraim, and Terra at a later date.

"My name is Corrin, Queen of Valla. And that's all you need to know."

@Raynar Saassin @Agent Puncake @Steely

Kiratta stood back as asked of her, even if the group they had encountered didn't look as threatening as a swarm of Geonosians or a raging Rancor. Looking at them from her cover, she didn't move an inch, a hand sitting on her pistol's grip to quickly draw it in case things went awry. And of course, they appeared to be going that way, thanks to Reaper's lack of socialization skills. Even with the introductions, there was a heavy air of tension, one that weighed down on the pilot uncomfortably. When given the green light, however, she slowly stood out of her cover, revealing herself completely to the misfit group before them.

"Uh, hello." She began, hand still sitting at her weapon's holster. "Kiratta Forin, X-Wing pilot of the Rebel Alliance, I guess. Don't worry, we don't mean any harm as long as we all act civil with one another." Her eyes moved from each individual in their group, though she was drawing a blank trying to guess from where they were. Aside from a heavily armored, bulky soldier, all of them appeared to come from archaic words, wielding swords, lances and an axe with varying levels of armor each.

"Ohshitohshitohshit-!"

It was a litany of prayer, buoyed up by sheer survival instinct as its chanter leaped over wrecks and under obstacles, never losing a single step in his swift trek. The reason for this became solidly apparent as the barrier of piled up cars behind him smashed outwardly, by the monster that followed in his wake. An ugly creature with a single eye, bipedal and wielding a lamppost as a club, it didn't run so much as lumber forward in dogged pursuit of its quarry. Teeth like tombstones ground in its jaw, a trail of drool trickling from the corner of its mouth. It had the scent. It was the first fresh meat it had seen in days, it would not be denied this treat.

The man turned a corner and dove in a tumbling roll, ending up in the middle of what was once a construction site. Around him, the pillars of what would have been a skyscraper loomed large. The creature found him.

It charged and the man screamed wordlessly a cry as he stabbed the staff in his hand onto the nearest metal pillar-!

-------
Hi. Yeah, that's me. You're likely wondering the following. Who I am, why I'm here, why is that handsome wizard being chased by the unholy lovechild of Earth and Sky?

Its a long story and it begins with what would have been the climax in any other. The end of the world- I expected fire. I expected ice. I expected real old Testament bullshit, fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! The rivers and oceans boiling away! Forty years of darkness, earthquakes and volcanos! The dead rising from their graves, human sacrifice, dogs and cats rising from their graves! Mass hysteria!

Instead, some asshole blinds me with a green light while I'm preparing to visit my daughter and I find myself in the ruins of my world.

And being chased by a Cyclops. Caught up? Good.

Now then, where was I?

-------

The old Dresden luck was with him, the half-structure impacting as it creaked and collapsed towards the monster. The Cyclops growled, moving to step out of the way. Dresden growled himself as he pointed at the ground.

"Infrigi! FORZARE!"

Ice cascaded where it stepped, the creature slipping on its ass with a well timed blast of kenetic energy to speed it along. Right in time for the pillar of steel to crumple its head. Dresden stood there, swaying in the aftermath of his spells. A moment later, he began to snicker. Something broke within him, the stress of a world gone mad as he threw his head back and cackled.

"BOOYAH! I JUST HAUSEN'D YOUR ASS! NEVER MESS WITH A WIZARD IN A CORNER! HAHAHAHAHA!"

How long he stood there laughing, he didn't know till he hiccupped and finally swallowed. He needed that. Right. He took a deep breath and looked around him with renewed eyes. Maggie would be fine- The Carpenters were the best folk to take care of her, at least for now. No matter how much his instinct wanted him to just run there, he knew he had to stay and work out what happened. But how? The Nevernever was out- The spirit world reflected its surroundings and considering the state of this city, he wasn't sure he wanted to find out what it looked like. So that would be a last resort. On hand, he had his staff, his bracelet, the pendant with the jewel from his mother and- Hmm.

He pulled out a parking ticket, considered briefly and then tore it into small pieces before flinging them to the air. Nope. Ok, think! He paced back and forth, looking at the ruined city with renewed eyes. Now that he thought about it...This didn't look like Chicago. Even with the ruins, the skyline was wrong. The sound he registered like thunder sounded far, too neat for that. War? With who? Or what? His eyes narrowed and he tapped his foot. He sighed and muttered aloud.

"Plissken wouldn't have this problem."

And then his ears pricked up as he heard the unmistakable sound of voices. Well. In for a penny...

And with a swift, careful jog he ran towards the sound.

@Hahli Nuva @Raynar Saassin @Agent Puncake @Steely

"Uh-huh." Cal nodded, unimpressed. "To be quite frank, I was about to insult you, but seeing that we're now unofficial allies, probably not the brightest idea." His voice got lower and, by the end of the sentence, was almost a whisper. He coughed.

"Callsign Vanguard, mercenary. And if you don't mind, Mr. Extremely Dangerous Reaper Magic Man, I've got some recon work to do." He put on his helmet, activated cloaking, and disappeared.
