As the group bickered and split up roles, Cal exited the space between buildings.

"No luck." He huffed. "Using lights first was a mistake, the thing noticed me immediately. I spent a while running around, but I don't think it's fooled. We're on its home turf here, best I could guess. There's also some of those other goons in there, monster-things-whatever. I would've used my ship, but the only option that leaves would be levelling the place with high-yield pulse emitters."

He noticed his drone floating next to him. "Ah, there you are." He collected it, and it re-attached itself back onto his back.

"Oh, by the way, I hear some pretty intense fire from over there." He pointed over the buildings. "I'd guess a few kilometres off. Sounds like gunfire."

"He tried to assault you...?" Terra asked with a disgusted look on her face as she felt Corrin's disgust. "He did the same to me too... We were on a raft heading to a town when he wrapped a tentacle on my leg and tried to pull me into the river..."

"Yikes. That's not nice." Hector exclaimed with a similar look of disgust as he looked over to Corrin. "We'll definitely beat him up quite a bit for what he did to you and Terra. When we found you in his clutches, I cannot imagine what that was like."

@Hahli Nuva @Steely @Agent Puncake

Corrin shuddered a bit and ran a hand through her white hair. Sometimes there were memories of events she would wish to forget, and her encounter with Ultros was one of them. That no good, slimy, pervert had fire and wrath coming for him when she got ahold of his wretched mug.

"Yes. I don't want to remember it. He caught me off guard and I paid the price. But not this time. Now, I'll be ready."

@Raynar Saassin @Agent Puncake @Steely

Harry eyed the gauntlets with a critical once over. The craftsmanship was excellent, artistic even but there was no disguising their purpose. What really got him was the shotgun shells, before he chuckled aloud.

"Well, whatever works. And I guess we'll just have to walk. Now then." He looked around from their hilltop viewpoint before he mused to her.

"....Pick a direction? Or try to head to the artillery lines?"
"Eh. Whatever direction is most likely to lead us towards survivors is better than a direction that leads us into a ambush. Although that would be pretty cool~" Yang exclaimed, quietly whispering the last part. She took a look around and couldn't spot anything of particular interest so she just shrugged and crossed her arms, looking back towards Harry.

"Where do you want to go then, hotshot? You seem to have a better idea of what's around here, unless I'm wrong."

@Blacksmith

Terra then transformed into her Esper form, readying herself for battle.

"Alright. Let's get going. We've got your friend to rescue from Ultros. I haven't seen him in a while so it's time for a reunion." Terra responded to her group as she made for the building on the left. That's where the trail lead them to. "The building on the right has monsters on the outside and inside. Ephraim, if you lead your group there and keep the left building guarded, my party can fight Ultros without interruption."

"Understood. Alright everyone, let's get going. We need to keep those monsters away from the left building so they can rescue Undyne." Ephraim stated as he brandished his lance and began walking to the right building. Widowmaker and Reaper followed suit, readying their weapons.

"Ephraim, was it? What do you say about our chances? You seem to have fought this "Ultros" before." Widowmaker asked.
"Yeah, what's your chances we actually do what you imply successfully and rescue whoever our captive is?" Reaper added.

"Trust me."

Corrin followed Terra from behind, keeping an eye out for any monsters. Ultros' previous encounter with her ran fresh in her mind, and the Queen of Valla had next to no qualms about killing the beast for good. Normally, Corrin would offer her enemies one chance at redemption, but Ultros had plainly demonstrated how callous, perverted, evil, and just plain disgusting he was to her.

"I have a feeling Ultros will be more concerned with the female members of our party than the male. We might be able to use that weakness to our advantage."

@Raynar Sassin @Terra's Party

"Standard wizarding 101. Always-."

He might have missed it, if it wasn't for the brief lingering of the Mantle. A sound that had penetrated the fallen city. He cocked his head, suddenly intense with the air of a bloodhound catching a scent. It was a sound familiar to the Huntress in turn, one that always heralded trouble. A repeated, rapid cracking of displaced air.

Down below the building of were the main group was, two men were finding themselves in a bit of a sticky situation. See, the two met by fighting off Nazi's who happened to have claimed a part of the city as their territory. And that territory was were they were teleported in.

"LEFT SIDE, LEFT SIDE!!" The Scottish man yelled, firing at a German group of four trying to flank them. He fired at them, but hit none; getting to cover before any could be wounded. "Shit!" He yelled again, reloading his weapon. Both were hiding behind two concrete pillars on the bottom floor. They were cornered in, and from a quick glance around they were trapped. They could only go up, but that meant death trap. The Nazi's could hold out outside and send teams up to get them, but then again, it would be like they were running low on ammo if that happened.

"We gotta go up!" The other man said, speaking with a southern accent.

"We do that, we're trapped inside! We should go below, see if there's a sewer system we can get into!" He answered back, firing off some more rounds; hitting a German approaching.

"And if there ain't one?" The southern man fired back as well, hitting some more Nazi's as well. "We go below and there isn't an exit, we're as good as fucked. We go high, we have some hiding places to take these bastards out." He suggested.

After a moment of thinking, he nodded. "Alright, I'll cover you! Get to the stairs!" The Scotsman ordered, laying down suppressing fire, as the Southerner ran for the stairway door near the back.

"Gunfire." Harry growled aloud, eyes glinting before he said dryly.

"Shall we?"

And taking off at a reasonable jog, he headed out for its direction. Somewhere, trouble was brewing.

Lets see if they can't make more.

@Raynar Saassin

"To our advantage. Right." Cal barely caught himself in time before he said anything potentially disgusting. Even if his goal is no longer making money, he still wanted to leave a good impression. He wasn't just some money-hungry low-lifer... like a few people he knew.

He sighed. "So, what? Are we seriously planning on using you ladies as distractions?" Implications, chivalry and false bravado aside, it might actually be a good idea if Cal can just blast this squid-thing to kingdom come, preferably with some close air support. Then again, he's not sure if the missiles are too potent (or potent enough) (or if he even had any left).

@Raynar Saassin @Hahli Nuva

Corrin sighed softly. Ultros seemed very interested in her, so she would need to make great use of her beauty to lure him into a honey trap. She didn't like it at all, and would much rather stab Ultros right in the face with Omega Yato then dare to dream of seducing him.

"No. I will bait him into lowering his guard. Then, the rest of the team can strike as one and kill him in one fell swoop."

@Raynar Saassin @Agent Puncake @Steely @Terra's Party

"That's a good idea, Corrin." Terra exclaimed as she nodded to the plan. She then made sure to note something. "He's most likely going to be interested in me more than you, as we have a ... history together. We've met and fought several times."

"Any idea what to expect then?" Hector asked, aiming to find out any kind of weaknesses or tactics. "If we're lucky, we won't encounter Mr Typhon, his close friend. Aside from that, I haven't discovered any potential weaknesses as we've mostly just kept meleeing him."

As the group approached the left building, they would discover that a quiet muffled sound could be heard as well as a perverted one. "Mmmph... Mmmmmph..." "Uwee Hee Hee~ You're a cute one for a fish lady. I might of swooned over you sooner if I had seen you before those pesky royalty types~" "Mmmmph!!! Mmmmmph!!!" "That one girl though~ Uwee hee hee! That one girl I wrapped myself around~ She wasn't half bad, Uwee hee hee~!"

"Shush... Look over there." Ephraim exclaimed as he pointed to where the main group of the monsters are.

"That's a lot of them, including a pack of airborne variants." Widowmaker exclaimed, prepping her Sniper Rifle while Reaper pulled out a fresh pair of Hellfire Shotguns. "We can't let those get past the main group. Ephraim, what's this plan of yours? How are we going to deal with a force that large?" "We just engage them and keep them occupied. If they focus their entire attention on us, Terra's party will have no interruptions."

@Steely @Ephraim's Party

"Let's get going. I want to punch some actual people for a change!" Yang exclaimed as she got herself ready for battle. Aside from killing those monsters that were roaming around the world, she was itching for some real combat. "I'll keep an eye on your back, lead us to where you heard the gunfire and let's cause some pain!"

@Blacksmith

"Really don't quite float my boat." Cal muttered. "You ladies still sure that you wanna use the bait tactic? 'Cause I don't think it's gonna turn out too well."

-----

"And fuck you too!" A bright crimson flash followed by a howl of pain, followed by a monster being tossed over a crashed car. Something exploded.

A man walked out from behind the car, carefully scanning his surroundings. Once he was sure that nothing was going to immediately attack him, he sighed heavily, and leaned back on the car.

Redline was understandably pissed. He was right in the middle of a very interesting four-way confrontation when a green flash of light took him, shook him like he would a few dice, and dumped him in this god-forsaken place. He has no real idea what's going on, except the fact that he's not in the metaphorical Kansas anymore. Not that he wanted to be.

Gunfire.

Redline scanned the horizons and listened carefully. There - no, there. Itching for a fight, he began making his way over.

The southerner, BJ, stood at the door with confusion. The robot spoke with just a casually calm voice with all the gunfire behind them, and the fact that it needed to ask the question was even more puzzling. "Uhhh..." BJ stood with a blank mind, before a bullet ricocheted off the concrete wall near his body snapped him out of it. "Yes, please?" He answered, with confusion in his voice. At the very least, the robot could be used as a distraction while he and Soap ran off.

The Nazi soldiers grew even closer, as Soap could barely even pop his head above cover without an array of machine guns firing all at once. It was getting worse, as vehicles started showing up, with two trucks stopping in the middle of the road, and even worse, this jumping out the back of one:

1196064_orig.jpg

Ain't that swell. The robot was large in size, easily bigger than the others, and once it got outside, it rushed to the main lobby where Soap was.

"That's a good idea, Corrin." Terra exclaimed as she nodded to the plan. She then made sure to note something. "He's most likely going to be interested in me more than you, as we have a ... history together. We've met and fought several times."

"All we need is for him to lower his guard. I'll go first, and then you can jump in."

Corrin began to formulate a plan to get the slimeball to do just that. It shouldn't take much, seeing as he was quite enamoured with her before, but Corrin never wanted to feel his slimy, disgusting tentacles onher body ever again, even in her armor. She really needed to bathe to get the stink out. Sadly, this ruined city seemed to have no such luxuries.

"Statement: Excellent. Then I shall begin my assassination protocol and terminate hostilities. Excited Statement: " HK-47 responded with an element of joy in his robotic voice as he began to walk towards the source of the gunfire. As an Assassination Droid, he had particular joy in causing mass bloodshed, and this Unit in particular very much enjoyed doing it. As he approached the area, he spotted another man similar to the one that bumped into him as well as what appeared to be a large mechanical dog machine. All this caused HK-47 to do was to ready his blaster and point it towards the mechanical construct. "Declaration: You are one of the things attacking these two gentlemen, and I shall take great pleasure of using you as target practice." He then pointed his modified Disruptor Rifle and began opening fire on the mechanical canine.

@Bobby the Prussian

"Wait." Hector exclaimed, planting a hand onto Corrin's Shoulder. "You're not going alone if that's what you're thinking. Knowing what's on that perverted squid's mind, you'll fall into his slimy hands. If you do decide to venture up ahead, I'm coming with you. Otherwise? You stay with us as a team." Hector gave her a confident smile but with serious vibes. Now was not the time to separate, who knows what Ultros has in store for the group. Terra vouched for Hector's words and peeked through a hole in the wall. What she saw made her immediately pull away and display a face of redness. " . . . . . I do not want to see what I just saw again..." She then charged a Tier 2 Fire Spell and launched it towards the wall, blowing it open to reveal a Captive Undyne and a surprised Ultros.

"Uweh?! You all again?! And... Oh I know you~ Uwee hee hee~! I know you all too well, Esper girl~! Remember our times together?~" It exclaimed, licking it's lips as it spotted the party, and focused it's eyes entirely on Terra.

"I'd rather not remember anything about you. We're head to defeat you and take our friend back. You're surrounded, surrender." "Ah~ But I planned on that~ Oh Typhon~! Come on out!" He yelled as a new monster had appeared:

"Typhon's taciturn, but terribly powerful! Better not irritate him! He gets hungry when he's irritated... I was drowsing the other day when Mr. Typhon gnawed on my head! He needed something to polish his teeth on!"

Kiratta kept her form low as they walked through the ruins, intent on making herself as small of a target as a woman her height could be. She wasn't exactly a master at stealth, though her time as a mischievous raider and smuggler taught her to be silent just enough to pass unnoticed by many patrols and private forces looking to blast her head off. Fear was written all over her face as she gauged just how numerous the monsters were, with differing sizes and movement methods. Some were even airborne, shaped like dragons. She frowned, trying to think of a decent engagement method that was different than Ephraim's simple, 'charge-head-on' plan.

"I'm not sure if my voice counts as much here," She speaks in a hushed tone, taking a moment to memorize the enemy combatants again, "but I'll say we actually put a bit of brain here. We're numerous in our own right, but they can still swarm us to hell and back." There was a pause, and she closed her eyes, tapping a finger against her forehead as if to hasten her thinking. "Whoever can deal the most damage here, focus on the bigger guys. My pistol's not that powerful, but I can sneak around the perimeter and engage the smaller targets from behind; and once they're all down, I'll help with the big mooks from another position. Whoever has better ranged abilities can take the left side. I'll take the right."

@Raynar Saassin
@Ephraim's Party

Corrin let out a feral scream and launched her attack, leaping into the air and bringing down the holy might of Omega Yato right down on Ultros' head as best she could. He had escaped her last time, but now? He would pay with blood.

"Enough games! Your end has come, demon!"

@Raynar Saassin @Agent Puncake @Terra's Party

"Not a bad idea, Kiratta was it?" Ephraim nodded, agreeing to her plan of attack. Sending the strongest crowd-control at the large group with people hanging back and one sneaking up was a sound strategy. "It's a good strategy. Reaper, seeing as you're the one with those large weapons of yours, you could focus on the larger ones like those giants and that dragon, while me and Widowmaker pick off the grunts." "Understood. You're not a bad tactician Ephraim." "Agreed, picking off the grunts is my speciality." Reaper and Widowmaker nodded in response to this plan they hatched. As they were getting into position however, a load roar had caused the monsters to scatter away from the two buildings. The Roar was even loud enough to reach the other building! This would cause the entire party to stop what they were doing and look towards the source of the noise, which was a extremely intimidating looking dragon monster:

"Humans and your insatiable greed... Your lust for power leads always to a lust for blood... This world allowed us dragons to live in peace... What business have you filthy creatures here? You slaughter my brethren, and befoul their remains with the profanity of your continued existence. In the name of all dragonkind, I shall grant you the death you desire. I am the dealer of destruction... I am the font from which fear springs... I am Kaiser... And your time is at an end." The creature spoke in a strong tone as it prepared for combat.

@Steely @Ephraim's Party

As Corrin was launching her strike towards Ultros, he quickly jumped towards her and prepared to smack her weapon out of her hands. Or at least, that's what he thought, before ending up striking the end of the blade with his head and dropping to the ground with a thud. "Uwah!! Ooof... My head..." Ultros exclaimed in pain before all of a sudden, a loud roar could be heard faintly from the outside of the buildings. Terra then immediately got worried and even a bit afraid. "No... It can't be..." "It can't be what? You know what that noise was?" Hector asked, rubbing the top of his head in confusion. All the while Ultros and Typhon were already running away while they were distracted. "Uweh! It's him! I'm getting out of here, this place ain't safe for little ol me anymore!!!" He screamed as he was already breaking for an exit.

As all of this was happening, a creature's voice could be heard. It had a intimidating vibe to it and was deep sounding. And your time is at an end."

"Kaiser Dragon... But how... We killed it in it's home before we defeated Kefka... Wait... Ephraim! We need to go, now! Ephraim and the others are in terrible danger!" Terra exclaimed in an outburst as she immediately ran out of the building and towards the other party. "Terra, wait! What about---" Hector exclaimed before she had already ran out.

"You two." Hector exclaimed in a serious tone towards Corrin and Cal. "Go with Terra, find out what's got her so riled up. I'll deal with Undyne."

@Hahli Nuva @Agent Puncake @Terra's Party

@Raynar Saassin

If Shen had been human, he would probably have stroked his chin at that suggestion, as he thought it over. “I was just about to suggest that.” He lied, never one to share credit with someone else, even if it was due. “If the ship, crew and our equipment made it through that flash, then it is not unreasoneble to assume that our vehicles did as well...We could send out search parties with Phantoms and Spirits.” He decided. “Maybe some Ghosts as well. We can explore the region and search for anything usefull that way at the same time.”

Corrin nodded shortly, activating Omega Yato's chainsaw function. and running out of the rom. Perhaps, she thought, she could find some way to diffuse the situation. As an Ancient Dragon herself, Corrin knew how humanity had the capacity to ruin worlds and let their emotions control them.

She sprinted after Terra, azure cape flowing behind her.

"Terra! Wait!"

@Raynar Saassin @Agent Puncake @Terra's Party

"Monologuing dragons. Because fuck my life." Cal sighed and dashed out the bussssilding again. "Uh... princess lady! Go get Terra! I'll distract the dragon!" Then, "LISA! I need the ship over here, ASAP. ALFRED, disengage combat mode and switch to recon."

"Roger, Pilot Ryker."

The ship appeared over the derelict buildings, lowering just enough for Cal to boost his way up and land in the cockpit before rocketing off, chasing the dragon.

@Raynar Saassin @Hahli Nuva

Redline knew this was the right direction, because with each step, the sound of gunfire grew stronger. He peeked over a mound of... whatever this stuff is, and frowned.

There were Nazis... who are fighting a robot. Who is blasting away at a large robot dog. Who is intent on reaching the building behind him. Which housed two guys, desperately dumping their ammunition into the enemies. Redline had no idea who's the good and who's the bad, but Nazis are generally always the bad. Technically. And even Redline didn't like Nazis.

He charged up a ball of energy and sent it flying into the midst of a large cluster of soldiers.

@Raynar Saassin @Bobby the Prussian

Kiratta was ready to duck behind cover and sneak her way past the enemy lines when the roar shook the ground and dispersed the horde of monsters they were about to engage. The beast, addressing itself as Kaiser, accused them in quite the sophisticated speech of lusting too much for power, followed by how they essentially disrupted dragonkind's peace in this place as well as giving a bit a brag, at least in her eyes. Either way, that thing emitted enough fear to leave her shaking in her spot, a single drop of sweat trickling down her face as she held her pistol with both hands. Hope that thing didn't notice you...

"Psst!" She whispered, almost curling up like a ball behind a fallen column of concrete. "Is it still viable to follow the plan?! I can sneak around him and deal damage from behind... just gimme a distraction to work with. Or I'll give him a distraction for you guys to get a few hits in!" She leaned forward, enough to peek out of the structure for another look at 'Kaiser'. By the Force, that thing was terrifying enough to rival a Sarlaac!

@Rayner Saassin
@Ephraim's Party

"I know you're lying, Shen. I can tell from being with the corporate brass for so long. Plus I've had a few commanders take credit for my ideas." Raynar exclaimed with a sarcastic tone as he nodded to the rest of what the elite had to say. "Phantoms... Oh boy. I've actually had the pleasure of flying one before. Was not fun. At all. How do you Covenant fly those giant things without hitting anything? There's no windows in the cockpit for crying out loud!" He exclaimed, remembering his first time piloting a Phantom. He crashed into so many walls and other ships while flying it, and even ended up losing control and crash landing straight into a friendly scorpion tank.

@Wyvern Rider

"What are you doing, curling in a ball like that? Get up." Reaper exclaimed, looking down on the rebel pilot. This was not the time to be acting like a coward. Now was the time to formulate a plan to deal with this creature. Widowmaker aimed at the Dragon and prepared to fire at it until Terra had arrived at the scene.

"Run! We must run immediately!" Terra exclaimed in an outburst as she was in a hurry. Behind her was Corrin, but Terra didn't notice her follow as she was more focused on the safety of her friends. Everyone else however, including Ephraim looked towards Terra with a confused expression. "What's the matter? We have this thing outnumbered. If we just formulate a plan---" "---That's Kaiser Dragon, the biggest and strongest Dragon out of them all from my world! It took me and my entire party to defeat him, and he is very durable! One blast from his magic was enough to almost kill us! Please you must trust me and run! I don't have enough strength to take him on!"

"You." Kaiser exclaimed, looking towards Terra with a unhappy expression. "I remember you and your human friends all too well. You all would be wise to listen to that foolish girl's thoughts if you wish to retain your lives. I am only going to offer you this once. Run away like the girl suggests, or die here with the rest of your pathetic kind."
