"Ah, Kit!" Stanley said with a grin as he made himself known. "I didn't even notice you!" He said, followed by a light chuckle and another bite out of his sandwich. After adjusting his glasses by pushing them back onto the bridge of his nose with his index finger, Stanley continued, nodding in agreement with Wisteria's words.

"The plants here Hogwarts are quite fascinating, really. And with the different remedies and conditions you can make from them with the help of herbology, the possibilities truly are endless. Though, I agree, Care of Magical Creatures is also an interesting subject, perhaps even more so than herbology." Stanley said, though he would quirk a brow in Yaser's direction when he insulted their headmisteress.

"Although I'm not particularly fond of Ms. Umbridge either, I think that it would be best if we don't casually insult her like that." Stanley would then rub the side of his head and let out an exasperated sigh. "After all... the last thing any of us want is to be on her bad side..."

"Sometimes I wonder if she has a 'Good' side. She certainly has a 'nice','sickly sweet','Stepford Satanist' side, but I don't think she has a 'good' side" He stepped up from his chair and pushed it in behind him, opting instead to lean against one of the cabinets. All the sitting around was making his restless. "She's technically the headmistress, but she's not our headmistress. Some of us were at school before Umbridge and Snape. We were young, sure, but we still remember back when you could have fun at Hogwarts" He gazed down towards his sandwich eating classmate "C'mon, Stan. This is a safe space. She's not going to be pressing her ear against the common room door to try to catch us talking a little bit of smack" He could imagine the sight now; the Headmistress leading against the wall, repeatedly smoothing down her cardigan in the fear of it getting caught on a splinter from one of the barrels. Even if she could hear through those enchanted walls, he doubted she would stay for too long, in fear that being pressed against concrete would mess up her perm. But if she did find them out... He shuddered to think what punishment she would devise. It would be far greater than the subtraction of house points, that's for sure. He had only heard rumors of the foul torture she had inflicted upon her students: scaring lines, vile truth potions and even the direct use of torture curses. It had been the talk of the school when he was in his third year. God only knew what new ideas she had developed since. "Just... remind me not to say any of this to her face..."
"I see your point, though wouldn't it be beneficial to have this knowledge anyways?" Stanley said as he interlocked his fingers and brought them up to his mouth, as if contemplating in deep thought.

"Regular schools teach math, science, english, and social studies, after all. Granted, Hogwarts is definitely no ordinary school, but it is still a school nonetheless."

"Hm?" Rio needed a moment to think about what Caleb was talking about. Darn, was that when he had started fantasizing about flying his new Nimbus 2200... "...oh. Yeah. That's not cool." What was her reasoning? Things were peaceful now? Rubbish. "Well, just 'cause it's off the curriculum doesn't mean we can't learn it on our own, right? Maybe teach the basics to the first years too, since we got a few years of that class under our belts."

"Scheming? Please, as if I would be planning something insidious or grand this early in the year," Mary countered with a completely innocent smile, before letting the false act drop for her usual scowl and a shrug, a sight that Samael was certainly familiar with. Six years at the school, a good number of which were spent either in the shadow of a war or under Umbridge's reign, had washed away many of the smiles she had when they had met in first year, "I'm simply aiming to patch up the holes that our wonderous headmistress left in the ceiling of our education. She might be content to let the torrent of rain pour in, but I'll be damned if I get soaked. Now then, are you in, or is your stomach still going to be bothering you after classes?"

"Hah, well, I wouldn't put it against you," Sam mused, giving a slight shake of his head. The blond was well aware that Mary could be on the wild side and honestly wouldn't have been surprised if she was already planning something adventurous or possibly even mischevious. Sam remembered how intimidating these antics had been to him when he was a first year, but over the years he had gotten used to Mary. She was smart, and the teen liked that in a person. He often found himself complying to her schemes so long as he was feeling well enough to participate.

"I'm planning on having a good day tomorrow," the blond finally added after a moment. While this sounded promising, it was the same response he gave anyone when they asked if he would be feeling up to doing something. He was always hoping to feel well enough to go about his day, no matter how uncertain things looked. Lowering his voice to a whisper he added, "I see... so you're looking to gather materials for us to study Defense Against the Dark Arts on our own?" A flicker of light sparkled in Sam's blue eyes. He was always interested in the idea of getting his hands on more materials to study.

"I'm in. I'll talk to Isolde tomorrow and see if she'll be interested in joining us. Not that I like to take advantage of her, but... if I tell her I'm not feeling well tomorrow she'd definitely meet up with me." Admittedly, Sam had pulled the 'sick card' out just to get more time with his sister. They were both in different houses and years so it was difficult to see her as much as he would've liked. Plus, he could be uncomfortable around other people and found it easier to spend time with her when he could. He did what he had to do to see her.

Juno Post - Prologue

"Come now. Simmer down and follow me, everybody!"

Juno Post took charge of the house of Ravenclaw in this moment, being a Prefect, and as such, was assigned with the task of leading the students to the Common Room. Despite her urging the Ravenclaws to keep calm and orderly, even someone as orderly and reserved as herself couldn't deny how exciting it was to be starting another fresh term at Hogwarts. Another year of the wonderful world of magic and helping fellow students realize their full potential. That is, those who care enough to attend to their studies like true Ravenclaws. After all, this house had no room for people who intended on goofing off, and even if she was just one Prefect, Juno intended to make sure that each and every student under her was getting along in the school swimmingly, just as she did last year when she first made Prefect.

Not that Juno particularly ever cared about what others thought about her, but she tended to figure that she was at least a decently respected individual. Stern, but fair, right? Some might have felt inclined to compare her to Headmistress Umbridge in that regard, since "stern but fair" seemed to translate to some as "just stern," but while Juno wouldn't have imagined herself to be that far gone, she still prided herself in her reputation -- whatever weight it might have held in reality -- and her punctual mien.

After all, if Ravenclaw had any intention of winning the House Cup this year, she would have to lead them all by example. Of course, while friendly competition may have been a good way to unwind, she could only hope that her fellow students would keep sight of the true goal they ought to strive for this year; personal self-growth and betterment through continued education and maturity.

Once she led the Ravenclaws into the Common Room, allowing anyone to relax and settle once they entered on the sofas, Juno wasn't done just yet. Standing in front of everyone, she cleared her throat, hoping to get everyone's attention, as it seemed she had something to say. "Everyone? If I could keep your attention for just a little while longer?"

Putting her hands on her hips and adjusting her glasses, Juno continued to talk. "I know most of you are far from First Years at this point, but a refresher for what our intended objectives never hurt anyone, right? As Ravenclaws, it is our responsibility to be representatives of what Hogwarts is capable of in what it can teach its students. As the house's namesake, Rowena Ravenclaw herself, once said, wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure, and I cannot agree more! Perseverance, integrity, wisdom, and intellect are all qualities that are expected of you, my fellow students, so let us face this year with our heads held up confidently. I hope to enjoy another illuminating year at Hogwarts with you all, so let's all get along now, okay?" She finished, taking a breath with that as she looked upon her housemates.

Lloyd Whitaker - Prologue

". . .Hm!"

Lloyd Whitaker could only smile.

The seemingly calm, yet tense atmosphere that choked the Ravenclaw common room at this moment could do nothing to phase Lloyd, as he made himself known to his fellow housemates, shuffling through the small herd and standing at the front to meet this year's house Prefect - a role that Lloyd had been humbly pursuing for the past several terms at Hogwarts. He couldn't bring himself to take the position away from those who showed the same aptitude for leadership as he had. Everyone deserves a chance at the limelight; that is, if they show the talent and promise for it.

There was no inter-house bicker that could fetter the excitement Lloyd Whitaker had for another year at Hogwarts - his last year, in fact. There was no doubt in anyone's mind that Lloyd would be going anywhere less than the best and brightest roles in the wizarding world after his tutelage at Hogwarts. For Ravenclaw students, that was the base expectation - or at least, it is now, after Lloyd leaves. A young wizard of his talent would surely be the one setting new standards, no? That is what a Ravenclaw does, and is expected to do. Of course, Lloyd takes any opportunity to share his success with others.

But, one needs a certain position of power to be able to spread the gift of knowledge to the less fortunate. Lloyd has done a marvelous job at keeping his position of respect for the last six years. Charm, wit, and only the most civil means of keeping the right people happy. Hogwarts is a playground, in that sense. A place for the ambitious to truly explore the depths of their own capability.

Who else but Lloyd Whitaker?

Lloyd bowed to his honorable housemate, taking a position next to her. "A fantastic speech, Juno! I think being in this house alone proves our ability to memorize the very values that it's been built upon. However, no voice could've surmised the core strength of Ravenclaw better. We're all here to learn, but. . .it does help letting everyone know just why Ravenclaw is so accomplished."

"That's what we'll be doing with the House Cup this year, yeah? Need to set a good example, you know."

Lloyd looked like he was just about ready to become a Prefect himself.

Ian Miles The Fourth- Prologue

Ian was as expressionless as ever. He honestly didn't care that Umbridge rambled on for far too long about the new school year. At this point, he knew that for some reason, there wouldn't a defense against the dark arts classes and that just meant more studying in the library for him. He didn't care that the wizarding world was at peace. Something that his father had taught him when he was young was that complemacy made for a weak character.

Just because it was peaceful now, it wouldn't be that way forever. He looked over at Mary and Sam and turned to Alcander and shrugged. " It will be no skin off my back. I want to go with you. Rather know it then being defenseless if we ever need to fight. It won't be any skin off my back, but we probably shouldn't be too obvious about it. We don't want to be caught." He spoke his two-sense as emotionlessly as possible and waited to see if they would reply to him.

"Good, just what I wanted to hear," A pleased smirk came to Mary's lips as she heard the soft-spoken boy's lowered response. At least, until those people started trying to listen in on her whispered conversations with one of her friends. As much as Mary tried to avoid the stereotypes of being a Slytherin, the sneer that escaped her as she whipped her head around and focused her gaze on the intruder was simply too natural to resist. "I'm sorry, but has there been a new policy instituted of spying on our own housemates as well, or has a snake been blessed with ears that it does not yet know how to ignore?" A vicious lashing was the girl's forte when she was settled upon a specific target, and the fact that it was a seventh year and of a long-standing pureblood family as well... well, that added a bit of toxicity to the rebel's words as well, "I haven't the slightest concept of what you might be implying with that comment of not being caught, Ian Miles, but whatever my plans are with Samael here are of an invitational basis, not a simple come as you please affair."

"Now then, if you don't mind," Without giving her friend or the seventh year much time to respond, her arm coiled around Samael's and she began to walk away towards one of the couches away from the seventh year, dragging the boy along with her, "Our conversation will remain between us."

Clearly, Miss Pleiades was not one for uninvited companions for her adventures, regardless of their intent in joining them.

❝ Oh what sweet relief. ❞ The ravenette breathed out by the time he was sure that his subtle comment remained in the confines of their Common Room. By now, Julius should be well aware of how things had been the past few years, but the verbal affirmation to himself was a habit he couldn't really ignore. And then came those words meant as a reminder from their House's Prefect. Not like he would openly say so out loud, but it felt needless to repeat simple expectations from time to time. Might as well be a small personal gripe left for him to bear.

❝ Well said, Juno. Surely enough, our House as a whole shouldn't miss the important message here. ❞ He showed a brief smile while acknowledging what the Prefect had to say.

"Hmm, yes, indeed. But do beware, too much pride can lead to arrogance. We're not Slytherins after all, not that there's anything wrong with that inherently," Juno replied to Lloyd sternly, waving her wand about idly like a teacher with a ruler. Still, she appreciated his and Julius's enthusiasm if nothing else. Apathy was the worst emotion anyone could ever harbor beside utter malice, after all. "In any case, that's it for the formalities, everyone. Feel free to spend the last of your leisure time before the term starts," she spoke, allowing the crowd to disperse fully throughout the Common Room with that.

Walking past Julius and Lloyd, Juno glanced toward them briefly. "I'm going to make some tea. Would either of you care for any?" She asked, before making her way to the side and pouring a cup for herself. Earl grey, to be exact. The most common kind in England. As she made her cup, Juno took a sip, before giving the boys a warm, relaxed smile. "I take it you two had... interesting Summers? Mine was somewhat humdrum; I suppose the most exciting part was when my neighbor's garden had suffered from a small pixie infestation, and he enlisted my help in casting them out. Never had I been so glad before to have known Rictusempra, hmm?" The Prefect said with a light laugh, though someone who was socially observant could tell it was a somewhat awkward take at attempting casual conversation.

"Speaking of, do either of you happen to indulge in Chocolate Frog Cards? I didn't really want to accept my neighbor's reward when he offered some Knuts, but I didn't really feel comfortable getting paid for common courtesy, so he gave me one of those cards himself. I imagine it must be valuable in some regard since it's golden, and it's of Bertie Bott, not that I particularly enjoy his Every-Flavored Beans. Those are quite vile, really..."

"You're right about that. Even if I wasn't feeling sick tomorrow, it's unlikely she'd turn me down," Sam admitted softly. He loved his sister, honestly, more than anyone--his parents included. If it had been possible he would've stayed around her all the time. It was honestly pretty damn annoying in his eyes that he had to be in a different house than she was, and even more so that she had ended up falling for some guy she had gotten to know. But as long as he treated her well Sam wouldn't complain about it, at least, not to her face.

Although Sam was accustomed to Mary's teasing, his shoulders tensed and a blush spread over his pale cheeks when she called him handsome. Even though they were friends, it was hard not for him to physically react with discomfort when being complimented. Despite the fact he had managed to make some friends, he was still shy and introverted at heart. "D-Don't call me that," Sam scolded Mary, letting out a sigh afterwards. "Pale and scrawny... I wouldn't really consider those to be traits of a handsome guy anyhow," he added with a much quieter, almost inaudible tone.

Curling a finger through a lock of blond hair, Samael clammed up for a moment when Ian would cut in with a clear interest in joining them on their trip to the library tomorrow. He didn't know Ian as well as he did Mary and it took him a moment before gaining the nerve to speak. However, by the time he found any words to say, he was being dragged away by his fellow Slytherin. The boy blinked owlishly, easily getting dragged along with her. He reacted passively, as if it didn't bother him to pulled along like that. "Huh? Why can't he come along? He overheard us so wouldn't it be better to bring him along? If we don't, he could rat us out, you know..."

@Khan of the Mardu @Lucky @dark
If only Ian hadn't butted into their discussion, Mary could have savored that adorable reaction of a boy her age clamming up and acting nervous. However, she didn't enjoy such joys when there was someone butting into their engagements, even if the matter had just been idle teasing. Word spread fast in Hogwarts and Slytherin especially, and regardless of what the matter was, Mary loathed the idea of her business getting out to other people. That's how trouble started; either someone ratted you out to the higher-ups in the social hierarchy and you had to adjust your plan, or they tried to spin a reason to tag with you, making your life all the more difficult because you didn't account for an additional idiot in your plan.

And Martha Rebecca Pleiades hated having to change her plans because of Hogwarts's student body of halfwits screwing them up.

"He overheard the old plan, the one that isn't the one I'm about to tell you," She replied as she planted herself down on one of the leather couches with an exasperated sigh, still trying to keep her voice low as her hazel eyes glanced back around to make sure Ian wasn't still trying to join in. Once that was done and hopefully Sam had joined her on the sofa, she hummed a moment, eyes closing and one set of fingers drumming away on her leg as she continued, "Which is... early in the morning, during breakfast or one of my class breaks. I'll dash into the library, peruse the books we want and mark them down, then hide them among the books of another shelf. Then we wait till the next day, hoping the senior burnout doesn't try following us on a different day and at a different time, and go in with your sister and check out the books."

Her eyes popped back open with an assured nod of her head and the repetitive drumming stopped, satisfied with the basics of the plan as they were. "Not the best plan, but we can make due since most people don't ever remember book titles and hate asking Madam Pince for help," She finished off before shrugging and looking to her friend for any suggestions, "Know a private room we and your sister could study in? Unused classroom, anything?"

"Duly noted." Stan replied before smiling and looking up to Yaser and smirking. Placing the plate with his sandwich down on the table in front of him, Stanley would interlock his fingers before placing both hands behind his head, leaning back into the sofa and propping his legs up on the coffee table in front of him.

"Perhaps I could lend you a spell that removes all distasteful thoughts from the user's head for short periods of time, for the right price of course."

Stanley couldn't help but feel bad after his comment towards Kit, causing his facial features to twist into a guilty frown as he based over to his fellow classmate.

"That's not what I meant. The day has just been long, with orientation and such. You're just as noticeable as anyone else." Stanley said, hoping to reassure his friend of that fact.

"That sounds like the twisted cross between a lobotomy and a straight up con" Yasir remarked, disgusted by the behaviour of one of his fellow Hufflepuffs. He squinted like a mole in sunlight, as if his eyes were adjusting to a whole new plane of vision. "Are you sure you haven't gotten lost on your way to the Slitherin Common Room?"

"What! I'm running a legitimate business here!" Stanley exclaimed, seeming actually offended by Yasir's comment. Matter-of-factly placing his hand hand on his chest, Stanley continued.

"Besides, we've known each other for years. In fact, I'm sure that I've sold you copies of homework from time to time." Stanley asked as his expression quickly turned to a smirk. He may have been somewhat of a con artist, but he knew how to cover his tracks properly.

((Sorry I didn’t reply! I had school.))
In The Gryffindor Common Room-Prolodge
Melody hadn’t really listened to the headmaster, as it was getting late and she was extremely sleepy, yes, this isn’t her first year. But she still wasn’t used to Umbridge’s eerily peaceful tenure, she had a terrible memory, but she had heard from several of the older students that things were “so much better”. As if! After all, Melody did spend her first year under Headmaster Snape’s tenure, and she still hates the man.

She walked to the common room like a zombie, her head down, and bumping into everyone. Her parents also packed her too many things this year, not to mention her Pygmy Puff squeaking at her loudly, she was excited for the year since her love for magic is still un-watered down from the last two years, just not after the headmaster’s speech and a stuffing of way too much food. So as soon as they reached the tower, she went upstairs, unpacked her pile of everything, and laid on the bed. Melody was going to nod off, but she then realised she had to at least say hello to one of her housemates and groaned. She got up with her bag of lollies and came down and saw Rio, Keith and Caleb sitting together.
She brushed her messy bob cut with her hands and looked at them strangely, before going down and sitting with them. It was an awkward moment, and it was made even more awkward by Melody handing out her lollies to them.

“I’m not a big fan of some of these so you guys can have some..So, what electives do you have? I hate how defence against the dark arts is still not implemented. Umbridge is a bit of a pain.”
Clearly, it didn’t come to her that she was interrupting a conversation. With a bunch of male students older than her. That’s something she would do, not just becuase she’s tired.

"There is nothing legitimate about selling shoddy spells you've read about in a book or too, Stan" Yaser glared, using his height to try to belittle his classmate. Sure they were friends, sure he had let his antics slide before, but that didn't suddenly give him a free pass when he was blatantly and unrepentantly doing the wrong thing. He crunched his teeth- this would not stand. "You know, you really do remind me of my 'dad', Stan" The way he said the word 'dad'-- it was half spoken half spat. He didn't respect his old man and he never would- not after all he had taken from him "Believe me that's not a compliment. He was a con too, selling magic to muggles back in Turkey. If you want my advice: quit while you're ahead. He dabbled in forced he didn't understand to make a quick Galleon or two, and he reaped the consequences. I'd hate to see that happen to a guy like you" He leaned in close the Stan, and continued "Besides, I'm not part of your clientele. I can fail well enough on my own without Umbrige finding I've charmed assignment"

"Yes, but unlike your father, I have a sense of morality and good judgement." Stanley replied with a shrug.

"There's a fine line between criminal activity and making some money on the side. I don't charge absurd amounts for the various items and spells I sell. In fact, since you're a good friend, I'm willing to let you have this spell for a mere five sickles." Stanley said, obviously not seeing any wrongdoing in his actions.

Ian Miles the Fourth

Ian rolled his eyes when she made her comment. He looked over at them. " Just to be clear, I honestly don't care about your plans, but if you are going to try something secret.... whispering in you know, the common room seems like a horrible plan. I mean, if you want a plan to work with little risk of anyone overhearing you, then perhaps you might want to find a more private place. The only reason I ever bothered to butt in is that either one of two things is going to happen. One, you are going to execute your plan, be it the new one or the old one flawlessly and no reprecussions will come from it. Or two, or as I like to call it, the more likely option, you will be caught and the whole house will get in trouble. Of course, then I would be forced to mention how I overheard you talking about your first plan and how I knew no more. Of course, there is option 3, but I'm not the type to rat out. I was going to do my own research on the topic, but you know, that hinders me if I rat. Of course, there is the fourth option and nothing happens because the books aren't there for some reason."

Ian didn't bother to wait for an answer, instead opting to read one of the many textbooks for school or at least pretend too.

Prologue - Inscription

The train ride had been uneventful, other than of course the usual meet and greet after a long Summer. As the students started to pour out at Hogsmeade station a sense of excitement was in the air, one could almost see the sparks flaring. The students moved on to the for most seemingly horseless carriages that would take them to the gates of Hogwarts castle. Some whispering among the students was heard about how this was the first year that any first-year students were not traveling by boat to Hogwarts, which was simply unprecedented! A tradition as old as the school itself. A safety hazard, evidently. Even though to this day no student had ever been hurt.

The will of the headmistress however, was law. Dolores Umbridge was known as a strict, but fair. On the surface at least. Most had heard rumors about her utter dislike for halfborns and muggles, but if that was the case no one could prove. Even so why would they? She had been a powerful force in the war against Voldemort, working from the inside to dismantle the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters from the inside. Some said it was Harry Potter and his friends, but those going to Hogwarts knew better, even if they wanted to or not. No student could deny however that these past two years had been peaceful and all that fell on to the lap of Dolores Umbridge’s strong leadership.

With these thoughts swirling in some students minds the carriages came to a stop and they were lead into the great hall and sat down next to the long tables of each house of Hogwarts. At the end of the room they could see the teachers looking on. Umbridge had decided when she became headmistress to clear out the old and enter with the new. The only teacher left from before the battle of Hogwarts was Professor Minerva McGonagall, continuing as the Head of Gryffindor house. Her face was that of stone as the others around her seemed to be chatting along rather jovially, most of them at least. The rivalry between Umbridge and McGonagall was well documented, but perhaps that was why the headmistress kept her around? To push her on? No one was quite sure.

“Hem-hem.” The buzzing in the air went deathly quiet as a woman cleared her throat. She looked like everyone’s favorite grandmother decked in sweetly pink clothes and a friendly smile on her face.

Dolores Umbridge took to the stands to address the masses. “Welcome my wondrous students to another year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I hope you are all well rested for Summer, because knowledge cannot be achieved with a weary mind.” Despite her smile and friendly demeanor, some of the students rolled their eyes. Umbridge loved to hear herself talk and they were going to be here for a good long while. Two hours later it seemed like she was finally ready to finish. “-As we all know this year will continue the trend of no Defence Against the Dark Arts classes. We live in a world of peace after all, and children do not need to learn horrible things like that. I will also like to inform you that Muggle Studies has a new teacher-”

A man with long disheveled auburn colored hair and wearing glasses thick enough that they looked like bottles was ready to stand up before Umbridge continued. “But that’s not important right now and I’m sure however they can introduce themselves in class, whoever they might be. It’s getting late and you children need to be sleeping.” The man looked around awkwardly before, dejected, sat down again. “Hurry now children! Follow your prefects to your respective houses! I hope you all will be on your best behavior. Because otherwise well…Children shouldn’t be naughty.” The last thing Umbridge said came off rather menacing, but her sweet grandmother voice hid the most of it.

With that done the prefects of each houses gathered their respective students up and lead them to their respective houses. While all of them poured out of the great hall it was soon that all of them began to split up to their respective routes and soon enough found themselves in their common rooms of each respective house. Soon enough all students arrived to their respective houses. While it was late the students had more than enough time to catch up some more and unpack the final things from their luggage before bed.

Traveling through the painting that leads to the tower (the secret password is herbivore) members of Gryffindor were met by comfy chairs and a roaring fire in the fire place. Comfy chairs were strewn about and two doors on each end and two spiral staircases one leading up to the boy’s dormitory and the other to the girls.

Hufflepuff

Through the entrance near the kitchen the basement area. Tapping in the rhythm on the barrels the door opened and welcomed the members into a very warm and open area. Yellow was the dominating color in the room as well as some earthy tones as well as overstuffed sofas and armchairs for the students to sit on. The dormitories can be found through the circular doors in the room and the twisting and turning of some tunnels.

Ravenclaw

The entrance to the Ravenclaw tower at the top of the spiral staircase and answering the riddle correctly (Marking mortal privation, when firmly in place. An enduring summation, inscribed in my face. What am I? A tombstone.) opened up the door to the common room. It was a wide, circular room with arched windows hung with blue and bronze silks and beside the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw a staircase to the dormitories could be found.

Slytherin

Traveling through the dungeons the members of Slytherin soon found the entrance to their house. Speaking the password (supremacy) they found themselves in a dungeon like room with green lamps illuminating the common room. Due to it extending a bit under the lake area also attributed to green light in the room. Dark sofas and skulls are the motifs and while grand also feels rather cold. Two doors on either side of the room lead to the dormitories.

Martha "Mary" Pleiades

Anyone who had sat at the Slytherin table would have heard an derisive snort from one of the older students, a lass with dyed-blue hair who kept a narrowed set of eyes on the headmistress and a set of fingers drumming away on the table in boredom, as Umbridge dropped the news that they, once again, wouldn't be taking part in any Defense Against the Dark Arts classes. It seemed another trip to the library was going to be in order as they were left to fend for themselves once again... Why her father insisted on continuing to ship her off to this school, Mary couldn't fathom. "There goes the standards again, all in the name of keeping the peace," An all-too familiar remark to those who knew the lass passed her lips as they began to be shipped off to their dorms, plans formulating in her mind of when she could slip down to and out of the library with the books she desired. She wasn't going to wait to start preparing for whatever threat might be brewing in shadows to pop up...

"Oi, Sameal?" Once they had arrived in the dank, decrepit chambers that presented a desperate attempt at grandeur, the timid boy that seemed so out of place within the house of betrayal felt a peck of two fingers on his shoulder, the owner of them speaking in his ear in a whisper so as to keep others from possibly hearing, "After classes tomorrow, I'm planning to hit the library for some research materials. You want to grab your sister and come with?"

Prologue- Alcander Montanari (Slytherin)

The older man focused on the train ride as the train finally stopped and walked toward his normal housing in the Slytherin, once again muttering under his breath about no defense of the dark arts classes this year. He eyed the headmistress for a second and shook his head.

The young man missed a conversation as he strolled into the Slytherin commons late, eying his classmates, Samael, Ian and Martha. He crossed his arms "What dare say my "classmates" are up to? Doesn't matter, however.

Laying casual on the frowned, Ross's thick new york accent rang around the room Ross was a man who normally seemed aloof, but his housemates knew if he spoke up about something. He had a good reason. Standing up, He didn't look as he walked away taking a seat near Kit.

"Ahaha, come on guys, we're all on the same team here," Wisteria spoke up with a bright laugh, moving to stand between the two. She didn't have much of a stature to work with like Yaser did, but she had to say something. "Yaser clearly doesn't wanna buy, so no reason to sell to him, right Stan? Let's just sit down and have a nice chat about, uh...anything else!"
