Shifting her attention from Millie over towards the door, she leaned back in her chair, arms crossing against her chest before she let her injured arm drop down to her lap, her other following suite. Studying him as he entered the room, Aimee couldn’t help but take note of his attire and wondered why they would send in what she assumed to be a detective. Wasn’t what they wanted a cut and dry type situation? Apparently not. Her eyes darted towards her newfound bud, thankful she spoke up and cut right to the chase.
