I have always intended - and continue to intend - to keep Storyteller's Circle ad free. The donations we receive from the general users, and Dash and I's willingness to pick up the difference is generally more than sufficient. We just have a lot of extra expenses rolling in that go beyond the normal monthly expenses, so we are making a more active effort to draw in more donations for a short while.

I understand you want to keep this site independent, but I'm not talking about annoying ads like pop-ups. Just talking about casual ads that pay a little for every visitor seeing the ad.

In the Hive Workshop, they have a corner for non-intrusive ads but the site still functions normally. Also ads may help when you meet situations like this, and also it might allow STC to have more addons and server space?
