“Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! - I have as much soul as you, - and full as much heart! " - Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre I love this quote. It is not the entire quote, but this part hits me, ya know, here. points to sternum

The avatar above you fights your avatar. How screwed are you?

My chibi versus cute anime? It would be a tie, and then a pillow fight!

What kind of relationship would you have with the avatar above?

Boop the nose to see if I can make him smile - this will determine the relationship. It could go either way.

    Are your Oc's your Gender?

Mine aren't all my gender. Which is super interesting to me. As a long time gamer, I have almost exclusively played my gender unless it's a game where the character is a set one. But in MMO's, for example, I'm female. I did try a male character once but I couldn't stand dressing him, everything...

Would You Watch a Movie That Had No Trailer?

It's really interesting and for a movie franchise I know I love I wouldn't care about the trailer or poster. Seriously GoG is gonna be watched no matter what. The first one I think it would depend on how I came across the trailer, and I would still like to read a blurb to tell me what it is...

What did you think about Infinity War? (NO SPOILERS)

Yes, thoroughly enjoyed it, and I agree with @Lila Renn that Thanos is a great villain.

    Favourite characters to play?

I don't think I have a particular favourite as they are all quite unique, but I have noticed my female characters are strong types. I have little interest in playing the damsel in distress.

    Novels by old people.

I too like to read books by 'old people'. Lol I love that. The writing styles are so different from today and I never fail to read passages that take my breath away with the alliteration or beauty of the descriptions. A few standouts for me to add to the great ones you've put here and this list...

For me, I was able to visualise it all once I got into the text more. A map would definitely help those who key more off visual indicators, but I could imagine the world. It's quite complex and the addition of the society and races, as well as the planes and who they are populated by and...

What is your greatest weakness as a role player?

At times I am not detailed enough, and I focus on the characters and sometimes forget to detail the room or even what they wear. It's because I am impatient to get to the relationship, the feelings, the dialogue. But I am getting better.

What was one mistake you always made when you were new to roleplaying?

I think my biggest mistake was assuming reactions from writing partners before giving them a chance to react. I usually caught this before replying but I was so used to writing the other person's side.

What's The Hardest Thing About Writing?

For me it is definitely world-building, it may be why I like urban fantasy. I can use the world we already live in. But I have a dystopian story in my head so will need to break out of that a bit to describe a ravaged landscape. Sometimes I also get caught up in tiny details and have to...

    New User A Newblet

Thanks for the welcome, all. @MysticMallow Up till now, they have mostly been short stories, but now I have longer ones in my head that I have begun writing. One of them came from a character I created and I just love him so much I want to write him as a stand-alone story. Roleplaying has...

    Is the paranormal world real?

I am a sceptic, which is at odds with the fact I love to watch movies about the supernatural and write mostly about it. However, I also have a scientific brain and need proof to believe. I haven't experienced anything that can't be answered. I also think a brain is an amazing machine and we can...

What do you start with when creating a character?

I usually get a fundamental feel for them, the essence of how they are feeling at a single point in time. From there I look back at what got them there and forward to how they will deal with their circumstances and where that might take them. With that I usually have an impression of what they...
