Madelyn opened the door to her quiet and secluded apartment.
In some ways she was a solitary creature, she felt that she'd always preferred it that way. It possibly had something to do with her toxic family, but she'd made a home of the place. It was her safe haven or a place to recharge. It wasn't good to bring her work home with her, after all.
It didn't always work that way though, she often thought of patients, and Nullum wasn't any different.
After changing into her comfortable night clothes, she opened her small laptop and searched the stranger's name.
Madelyn couldn't help but blink with confusion as she found out what the name meant, "nothing"? Had he chosen that name for himself? She couldn't imagine parents choosing that name for their children. With a sigh she shook her head and muttered under her breath, "Right then," she closed the laptop and forced herself to stop overanalyzing everything. If she didn't stop now, she wouldn't be able to sleep properly.
By this point though, she was finding herself too tired overthink anyway. Slowly she made her way to a queen sized bed and curled up under the covers. This had been a long day, and she was looking forward to the treat of getting to sleep in.
