Personality: Mathew was a fun-loving kid, enjoying spending time with his late mother until the two of them were tracked down, ever since his mother’s death he’s been close-minded and guarded, pushing away anyone who cares about him.
Biography: When Mathew’s powers first manifested (around age 8) he only teleported a few inches but he knew that something had happened, thinking there was something wrong with him he asked his mother about it and to his surprise said that she was excited and that there was absolutely nothing wrong. Every second after that she reminded him never to use his powers in front of anyone else, or they would both be hunted down and killed. One day when he went to school the doors were locked, thinking it would be fine to teleport past them he looked around to make sure he was alone, then teleported through, only to see that a teacher at the school had spotted him. The teacher had immediately pulled her phone out and speed dialed the number she was told to call if she saw something. 5 days later his mother was dead and he was an orphan, forced to live on the streets until he found small tunnel access and decided that the inside of the tunnel was better than the side of the road (age 9). Ever since he entered the tunnels he has been mapping and exploring all he can in case he ever gets tracked down again.

Veronica Harwood: Veronica first met Infinity when she was in her 20’s, after only a few brief moments she knew that her life would be completely different. She was right because a few months later Mathew was born, who she raised on her own never telling him about his father until he began to have miniature manifestations of his powers. Eventually, she and Mathew were tracked down by the government and because she protected her son from the soldiers she was killed, leaving Mathew to wander the streets confused and motherless.
