Confounded (Adjective): Confused.
Coquette (noun): An old slur for a flirtatious woman.
Erudite (noun): A well-learned and intelligent person.
Fortnite (noun): Don't hurt me! The word on which the game is named means "A period of time equal to 14 days"! Honest!
And lastly, Biweekly (Adjective/adverb): This word can mean either 'every two weeks' (Fortnite-ly?) or 'twice a week', seemingly to confound me. It depends on your interpretation.

Hopefully this doesn't come across as pompous... But that's the price of using erudite words, isn't it?

These are some of the words i especially enjoy

on·o·mat·o·poe·ia

the use of onomatopoeia for rhetorical effect.

rig·ma·role
a lengthy and complicated procedure

Sesquipedalian - ses·qui·pe·da·li·an - Pretty much, it refers to big words with a lot of syllables but it can also be used to describe someone who regularly or needlessly uses big words.

Esoteric - es·o·ter·ic - A subject that is intended to or likely to be understood by a small number of people; specialized knowledge or interest. This is also the stage name of an Australian rapper (Eso for short) and was almost my username before I went with Arcane.

Canoodle - ca·noo·dle - To kiss, cuddle, or caress. I'm including this word because it makes me laugh. I had a girlfriend who I once asked in a very serious and seductive tone, "Hey baby, you wanna' canoodle?" As I recall, her response was something along the lines of not wanting to mix food with sex.

So there you go, some new words for you to canoodle.

ichthytaxidermy - fish taxidermy

vauntiness - boastfulness

discalced - barefoot

duodenary - relating to the number 12.

phytogenic - a material related to plants.

eximious - excellent.

feak - a lock of hair

Sanguine: In modern English, it refers to hope or optimism; archaically, it meant blood red
-Sanguinary: bloodthirsty, or bloody

Sobriquet: someone's nickname, that's...literally it :,)

To add on to feak from our buddy up there: 'to feak' or the action of 'feaking' is what a bird does when they wipe their beak on a perch or similar surface to clean off their beak/lores/face after eating!

Panache: the feather in a hat is a panache, and to behave with panache would be to behave confidently/stylishly/flamboyantly

Zeitgeist: a German word, with "zeit" coming from the word for "time" and "geist" meaning something like "ghost" or "spirit." It means something like the spirit of the time/culture/place, almost like the atmosphere.

Aibohphobia- the fear of words that spell the same backwards. Look at the word, the word itself spells the same backwards!
