Does this website have an age requirment

Due to The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") - a federal law laying out rules regarding personal information of children on websites - we don't permit users under the age of 13 here since our website isn't designed to be in compliance with COPPA and it could result in legal issues for us if we had users younger than 13.
Anyone over the age of 13 is permitted, but we do have mature content on site (no straight up xxx is allowed, but mature themes and young adult content is allowed if it's tagged for users who want to avoid that content), so we definitely recommend younger users check with their parents about using our website before participating in roleplays to avoid any issues of a parent unexpected asking us to remove their child's access to our website and disrupting their roleplays.
