Rules/Notes About Character Creation
1. You may use real life or drawn FCs, but please credit the source in the "Appearance" section. It makes it easier to make gfx.
2. No time travel, precognition, reality warping, or otherwise gamebreaking abilities. If you are unsure whether your character's power falls under that category DM me and we can work out the mechanics.
3. You can have up to two characters; however, new players will be given priority for Bitten characters if you have one already.
4. No discussion of rape/sexual assault in your character's back story.
5. Ask for permission, don't beg for forgiveness. I'm always happy to help you bounce ideas and answer questions. My goal is to ensure your character works within the confines of this world while still retaining the things you enjoy most about them.
6. I will ask for changes if I deem your character is overpowered or incongruous with the world in some way.

Full Name: Jezca Li Age: 15 Gender: Female Sexuality: Bisexual City of Residence: Silson, Nevada	Aubrey from Omori
PERSONALITY	ABILITY
Happy demeanor- Happiness is best shared with others so when Jezca is in a good mood she tries to spread it those around her. She'll hype them up and repeat the good news, whatever it is. As an effusive soul, you'll see her with closed eyes and a wide smile. Where she would normally seek flaws in people, she's surprisingly sweet and affectionate, though she's careful not to cross any boundaries. Sad demeanor - The opposite of love is not hatred but indifference and the opposite of happiness is not anger. For her, it's a total shut down. She refuses to eat or leave her room. Until her issue is resolved, she'll spend the bulk of her time scrolling on her phone until she falls asleep. During particularly difficult periods, she even stops showering (despite her parents' disgust). Angry demeanor - Melodramatic. Just as she jumps with joy when things go her way, she'll break out into swear words and literal curses upon those who frustrate her (be they an object, person or animal). It isn't uncommon to hear her typing furiously on a keyboard or stomping around in her yard. She swears she isn't sensitive, but is hard pressed not to take criticism personally. At her worst she'll be in tears, smashing everything around her. Don't mention that though, unless you want to be next.	Unraveling - By touching objects, she can unravel or rewind them like a spool of thread. During this process, the thread of whatever she touched will consist of the same material, though its strength will weaken based on the length and width of the thread This includes her body, which she can manipulate to snare objects, move around, and stitch either herself or others. Unlike other objects however, her body's "thread" is akin to braided steel though non-metallic, far more flexible, and can be retracted. She isn't particularly tough however. Cutting her body's thread will wound her and depending on how much is cut off, cause amputation at the source of the thread.

Jezca grew up as the only daughter of Janey and Waymond Li, owners of the singular Chinese restaurant in Silson. Aside from having pushy parents, she's found herself living an overly boring life that's characterized by a constant routine of school, art, hanging out at the mall, and the occasional video game. Being one of seven Asians in Silson, she's received an annoying amount of ignorant questions by her less cultured counterparts. She's gotten into many arguments with parents regarding why they had to live in the middle of nowhere, only to receive vague answers about a schism on her mother's side. Jezca hopes to move to a bigger city so when she discovered her powers she began formulating a plan to leave once she turned eighteen. She knew she couldn't tell anyone about her powers (per comic book rules), but that didn't mean she couldn't practice. Dreams of being a vigilante or a movie star filled her head and her academics suffered as a result. In the recent months she's become something of a black sheep, hanging out with the less-than-perfect students of Silson High School.	Though she carries around a baseball bat, she doesn't actually play.

 

[Machina Somnium]

Full Name: Grisham Crow Age: 42 Gender: Cis male Sexuality: Demisexual City of Residence: N/A	6 feet tall, lean. Brown-ish green eyes, dark grey hair, bushy eyebrows and unkept beard. Wears practical, comfortable clothes. Sometimes leather, a lot of military style boots. Doesn't look like a nice person, you may cross the street if you encountered him at night, in the dark. His hair is relatively short but he has a long thin braid that comes out of the lower, back of his head.
PERSONALITY	ABILITY
Annoyed guy who likes dogs and traveling. He doesn't bother with social niceties, he's rude, and clever. Has life experience. Grisham has many friends, but none are close beyond his animals, who he loves dearly. Only second to being on the road. He's a practical man with a survivalist attitude towards life in general.	Digital materialization. He can reach into screens and pull things out, as well as travel through them if they are connected to the same network. He's also in tune with electronic devices if he has direct contact, as well as AI. Like he could know why your fridge broke or why it's not functioning so well. He must know the object he's about to pull from a screen and how it works. It's limited by the size of the screen. He can't pull people out but animals are possible. Taking objects out of screens takes a toll on the device, so he can't overdo it.

He was born somewhere in Canada, and decided to adopt a nomadic lifestyle in his early 20s after dropping out of college. He has always enjoyed his independance, and has spent the last almost 20 years driving, finding odd and not so odd jobs and meeting interesting people. He gave living in a single place, in California, a try, and he has since got an ex-wife and a daughter. But that kind of life isn't for him. For the past 10-ish years he's followed a relatively solid route, and spent the winter months in Silson, Nevada. He's familiar with the place, the locals, and some even like him. He's got a bit of a shady vibe at first. Random guy who comes in the winter, spends a lot of time in the forest, and apparently can't keep a job. But his bad-guy vibe can't make a comeback once you've seen or heard him baby talk to his dogs. No matter how hard he tries. He was never too into technology, beyond what gadgets and devices would help him on the road. Hopefully make his life easier too. But since last year he's learned a lot. Even built up a reputation for the past few months, under the alias Where_wolf. As a guy who can get you anything. But he doesn't quite need money, just contacts and favours. He has also improved his living conditions using his new power, greatly. New vehicle (Niesmann Bischoff Arto 66F motor home), plenty of commodities for his dogs and himself as well as generosity. All without passing through the bank. There's also a BIG TV monitor in his motorhome that he never watches, a few medium size devices, batteries, what he needs and can get. His dogs, the lights of his life, travel with him. A canadian skimo dog named Sugar, and a dalmatian named Spice. They are 3 and 6 respectively, polite, obedient and used to life on the road. He's just arrived back in town, a little earlier than usual. For reasons he's never told anybody.	He always travels with at least one dog. He doesn't like other animals as much. He's a top survivalist, and has gone through some rough times. His daugher's name is Fiona, this past year he has paid for her studies. Among other things. He has a hard time connecting with others, emotionally. He snores, loudly. He has a sweet tooth, and loves bean paste and cream dorayakis. They are his favourite sweet. Chocolate isn't far behind. He's the kind of person who will mix any two things regardless of the taste and eat up. It's gross. He sings to his dog so they sleep better. He's afraid of ghosts and very respectful toward that topic, spirits and the dead. As well as respectful with nature. He has more than 4 tattoos.

Full Name: Izabel "Iza" Williams Age: 26 Gender: non-binary Sexuality: Pansexual City of Residence: New York	Young, lean person on the muscular side from frequent exercise. They rock an undercut bun hairstyle. They have black hair, medium brown skin and aqua green or purple eyes. They turn aqua green when they use their powers. There's a check, or checkmark shaped tattoo under their left eye, could be mistaken for a badly done heart at a distance. They are at ease in most social situations, and wear a dark backpack almost everywhere they go. They wear comfortable, practical clothes. Mostly techwear and streetwear styles.
PERSONALITY	ABILITY
A bit of a few faced person. Iza thrives on social media and has been struggling with some mental problems for years, which therapy helps with. This past year has been new and exciting, as they have fared explore a side of themself that was a bit hidden. Someone outlandish and brave, powerful, that dates fight for that they want. Anubis. Not the Egyptian god, of course. Iza is just a bit of a nerd when mythology comes into play! As well as a thriving artist.	Psychokinesis The ability to move things with the mind, with limits of size and effort. Overuse can cause severe psychic damages, comas and in the worst cases, death.

A few years ago, after living in Silson for 18 years, Iza got a scholarship and went off to a decent art school in New York. There, they finished their degree and did some self discovery. Started learning costume making and became quite experienced at it. After, they tried to find a job, unsuccessfully. So they moved back home for a while. It sort of sucked, but at least they got to hang out with some of their old friends! Until a year ago. Once they got bitten and their powers started to manifest, Iza knew it was time to move back to the city. Their powers could and have been dangerous to the people around them, due to them responding to emotion or dreams in different ways. The first month's especially, were a blurry mess and a bit of living in the streets. Eventually, though, and step by step, Iza came into contact with their inner furry and revived their social media accounts. Now they make a living off of designing and building furry costumes, fighting crime with a Jackal mask with golden eyeliner, and practising their power to become stronger!. Of course when they heard about the people responsible for their condition and the deaths, they decided to take some time off and visit their family.	NPCs: Penny and Edmund Williams, parents. Trivia: They currently have over 7k followers in social media as a furry artist and costume maker. As a vigilante, they are still figuring things out. They change homes/hideouts a lot. Their road to the present has been bloody. But Iza is ultimately happy with the freedom it has allowed them. Over the past year they have become quite lonely. And failed to keep in contact with most of their friends. The Williams aren't rich, but they live comfortably. Iza treats their vigilante persona as a different part of themselves. And they named it Anubis. It helps them keep both sides separate.

PERSONALITY	ABILITY
Despite an outward appearance that metronomes back and forth between visible irritation and palpable exhaustion, Olive's patience and energy meters are surprisingly slow-draining. When met with a task she always approaches it with the same amount of focus and energy, often to the point of self-neglect when it comes to managing her store and caring for all the critters within. As a result, Olive can seem to be a bit standoffish when it comes to any form of socialization within the strata of Silson. She is not interested in "going out", and her idea of relaxation is quite the antithesis to the concept - as she would just prefer to go home without complication and unwind in her own time, in her own way.	Every four hours that pass in Silson, Olive inherits a random power set. Ranging from the mundane to the mythic, Olive has no awareness of what her next power will be and thus exists in a state of perpetual anxiety surrounding what may or may not happen at every power switch. In the time since their onset there have come to be a few repeat power showings, and so her profeciency with the randomized power also varies.
