Amaimon (GigaBit200) VS Blindfold (TMITM)

@TMITM

A small demon stands in the middle of an Infernal arena. "Ladies and gentlemen! Demons and angels alike gather round to see battles of the ages!" He says in a scratchy, high-pitched voice. "First challenger! Our own ruler of both the Pride Ring and the Lust Ring, heir to the throne, prince Amaimon!" Cheers erupt from the crowd as he appears on the right of the announcer. "Second challenger!" The small demon continues, "Blindfold! Completely unknown to anybody else, so we cannot give him a title, but I suspect he is a promising opponent!" The crowd cheers, but significantly quieter than before as Blindfold appears to the left of the announcer. "Now without further ado, fight!" The demon says as he teleports to the sideline. The challengers find themselves facing each other about twenty feet away.

Amaimon waits for Blindfold to make a move, he attempts to read his mind to get a better understanding of his abilities.

Blindfold was in an arena.
The circumstances of him getting into this arena, well, it was a long story. One that he'd rather not tell right now.
He was in an arena, with angels and demons.
Blindfold knew quite a bit about demons, actually. For a time, he thought TMITM was one, but Blindfold didn't know much about him at the time. Now Blindfold knew that TMITM was a lot of different things to a lot of different people. To some he was a god, to others he was the devil.
Hearing himself in Blindfold's thoughts, the egotistical maniac stirred, the connection between the both of them strengthening for a moment.
Blindfold didn't exactly want to fight a demon. He found them maddening to fight, or even to deal with. The pride ring and the lust ring were relatively low-level, so Blindfold wasn't too worried, but still, having to fight this one would be a pain.
Blindfold noticed a flicker of a thought that wasn't his or TMITM's before the Man shoved it out, along with an equally weak counterattack, not really out to hurt the demon, yet, but a sort of slap on the wrist. Blindfold's mind wasn't for anyone but the Man to access.
Alright, kid...The Man started, smiling to himself and Blindfold. impress me.
Blindfold stood, hands in his coat pockets, barely concealing a grin, just waiting.

Amaimon smirked. "Very well then, stranger, hide your secrets.." He says to himself. He then flies up into the air, creating a ring of fire to slowly cremate Blindfold where he stood.

That wring of fire wiped the grin straight off of his face.
Blindfold could feel the heat from here - in stark contrast to the Man, who exhibited a sense of cold with his anger. Huh. Blindfold could've swore this was a wrath demon.
And, he admitted, he definitely liked the cold more.
Blindfold ran the other way, of course, hoping to diminish the height of the wave before he tried to jump over it. Blindfold knew he couldn't fight the whole fight in the air. He had to end this prideful demon's superiority complex fast.
So, when the wall of fire and he reached the wall, Blindfold ran up it, using the Ink to stick him to the wall as well as increase his speed and strength, and when he was at a reasonable place, he jumped, using inky tendrils to push off, on a direct collision course with the prideful demon, extending inky tendrils to try and grab a hold of his wing, and leg.
Good, The Man said. Very good.

Amaimon falls backward, dodging the Ink.
"What in the seven Rings is that?" He remarks, smiling anyway.
Amaimon assumed it was the blindfold on this stranger's face that fueled his abilities, so he had a plan: Take it off.
He quickly went on the offense, unsheathing his metal claws from his gloves and making a beeline for Blindfold's face, faking for his chest, then tearing at his blindfold.

Blindfold didn't see the feint coming, as clumsy as it was. He didn't even anticipate it.
He didn't need to.
Blindfold simply tucked his legs and arms in and fell like a stone, sacrificing all of his upward momentum which was keeping him in the air for a dodge - but that didn't mean his attack was over yet.
Blindfold shot out two tendrils of Ink, the two barely shooting past Amaimon and sticking to the walls of the stadium, and then yanking himself forward with increased strength, rocketing himself in the space between the demon's head and wing, and once he was in that space, Blindfold slashed at the demon's wing with a blade clumsily fashioned out of the Ink towards the main joint, wanting to sever it, or at least put it out of commission, eliminating the need for Blindfold to keep this air combat up.
If he didn't hit the demon, he had a contingency plan. Blindfold reached out with his left hand and attempted to attach a tendril to the Demon so he could do something with it later.
I am no puppet, The Man admonished. These 'demons' will pay for attempting to make one out of me.

Amaimon grunted in pain as the blade struck the bone of his wing.
Shit. He thinks as he plummets to the ground.
The tendril missed narrowly, the attack even surprised Amaimon.
Let's see how he thinks about this. He thinks, taking a metal object about a foot and a half long out of a pocket in his suit. He throws it with amazing accuracy, blades spring forth on both ends, the attack intending to either cleave him in half or put an arm out of commission. He smiled.

Blindfold didn't anticipate the projectile at that time.
When Amaimon was plummeting to the ground, Blindfold immediately had extended tendrils downward to rocket himself downward, extending his legs to try and groundpound Amaimon, the projectile hitting Blindfold in the right shoulder on his and the demon's way down and getting lodged in there.
Ouch, Blindfold thought, in the back of his mind, but he was focused on the task at hand - beating the absolute crap out of this guy, and the Man agreed with him.
Let's burn this place to the ground.

GigaBit200

Amaimon sidestepped again.
This guy is more offensive, predictable.. He thinks, grimacing at the burning pain in his wing.
Amaimon swiftly attempts to grab one of the tendrils and slam Blindfold into the ground, and if that attack were to hit, he'd incinerate him on the spot.

((Sorry if that was too short.))

Just before Blindfold hit the ground, the demon sidestepped. It was amazing to Blindfold that the demon could have recovered that quick from falling from 20, 30 feet in the air.
This guy was fast.
Since Blindfold was already at the ground, it was easy for him to retract the Ink immediately, avoiding the demon's swipe deftly, sand from the ground of the stadium getting kicked up. Blindfold could feel the particles sticking to his face.
But Blindfold was faster.
Huh... sand.
Blindfold had an idea.
As Blindfold jumped back from close quarter combat, Blindfold whipped the ink around, creating a figurative smokescreen that engulfed the pair. Not a problem at all for someone like Blindfold, who couldn't see at all, but for someone like Amaimon, who relied on it, a sand cloud obscuring his vision might have been just the advantage Blindfold was looking for.
ajnskdmcnaknsdlkcjanlskjdcn, The Man said to Blindfold, warning him of moves Amaimon could use to counter. Blindfold acknowledged them and agreed.
Quickly and quietly, the sand doing a lot to muffle his footsteps, Blindfold moved from his original position, knowing that would be the first place Amaimon would attack.

((No worries.))

Amaimon was blind.
Damn you. He thinks, running toward Blindfold, but he had an idea.
Amaimon created the sound of footsteps about five feet behind the stranger. In the meantime, however, Amaimon burrowed through the sand under the spot Blindfold was supposed to be and waited. If all went well, Amaimon would cremate him here and now.

Amaimon might not have realized at the time, but burrowing makes a lot of noise.
Like, a lot of noise.
Blindfold had heard footsteps behind him, but as he did a double-take - he didn't see anything. If there was anything there, Blindfold would've been able to see it, if it wasn't just... footsteps.
Damn. An illusionist. Blindfold hadn't expected that.
But at this time, Blindfold had another thing to worry about - Amaimon burrowing. He didn't even know demons could do that.
But Blindfold wasn't where Amaimon expected.
No, he was somewhere else in the dust cloud, similarly waiting.
His attack was in vain.

Amaimon felt where Blindfold was and reacted accordingly.
Flames erupted under Blindfold's feet, blazingly lethal. Amaimon's deranged laughter erupted from the spot.
"I've got him, I've finally got this quick little bastard." He yells.

How did Amamon know where he was? Amaimon was blind, and certaintly not as perceptive as Blindfold - he should've caught this, and indeed he did. Blindfold had expected this. But how did ... nevermind. It wasn't important.
Blindfold had dodged just in time as he felt the vibrations of Amaimon charging over to him, twisting his body as he jumped, throwing his hands up, and -
BOOM.
Flames erupted out of the spot, Blindfold getting flung from the spot, intact, flames trailing from the sleeves of his jacket flying from the spot where he once stood. This surprise allowed for his brain to submerge itself in a moment - however brief - of panic.
His mind fumbled over the Ink, not sure what to do. Should he rebound and try for another attack, try to rest, use the Ink to catch himself, what should he -
All of a sudden, Blindfold felt an imaginary hand come from the back of his mind and steady him, ripping away those thoughts.
Don’t worry, kid, The void that was the Man said, sucking in all worry or doubt, I’ve got this.
Blindfold relaxed.
The Ink reached out and grabbed hold of the ground, waiting a split-second, and letting go, in rapid succession, tendrils slowing down Blindfold’s momentum safely - right before he hit the wall at the opposite end of the stadium - and dislocated his shoulder. The Man had slowed his momentum as much as he could, but it still wasn’t enough.
Blindfold was somehow comforted at the fact that the Man had climbed from the trunk into the passenger’s seat.
As Blindfold rose, as suddenly as the Man grabbed the wheel, he let it go again.
You want me to take this? TMITM asked as he controlled a tendril of Ink that slithered out from behind his blindfold and grabbed his shoulder. Hold on - he said, and then tugged Blindfold’s right shoulder back into place.
Blindfold grunted, then growled.
Not yet, Blindfold said, but they both knew it wasn’t smart for him to retain control for long. Wait a second.
As unwise as it was, the Man agreed, backing off to at least the back seat, relaxing.
Blindfold was tired.
The fight should’ve been over in the first few moves, but it wasn’t.
Blindfold just had to deem whether this was enough to let his demon out.
Pride, The Man said, shaking his head inside Blindfold's mind. It makes even the most powerful people fall.

Amaimon was riddled by Blindfold's sheer speed. He was confused how it left him completely unscathed.
Nevertheless he had an idea. Amaimon appeared to rush out of the sand, flying out of Blindfold's melee range. He knew that Blindfold hated ranged attacking, so he built his plan on this.

Blindfold 'saw' Amaimon rush out of the sand, but he was pretty sure it was an illusion.
Blindfold had thought that Amaimon was too fast, he had reacted with impossible speed to Blindfold knowing where he was. It seemed... wrong. It all seemed... wrong.
Blindfold felt the cheers of the crowd, the sand that was still settling down from his earlier smokescreen, and the blindfold getting loose on his face, Blindfold tugging it back into place and tightening the knot.
The Man was close. Blindfold could feel him, getting ready to take control.
Not yet.

Amaimon's last gamble was beginning.
Flames erupted from the ground once more, this time Blindfold shouldn't be able to escape.
After the fire, the prince leaped out of the ground, clawing at Blindfold in a vicious onslaught. Amaimon's rage was seeping into the stranger's mind, threatening to corrupt him.

Not yet...
Blindfold struggled to keep the Man under control.
Not yet...
Blindfold could feel the Man getting ready.
Blindfold could hear the crowd cheering.
He could feel Amaimon rustling in the sand, coming for him. He was almost here - likely getting ready to shoot fire out of the ground again. Predictable.
Now.
And Blindfold fell down, down, down, into the depths of the Man's mind, the Man taking the driver's seat and immediately shifting gears.
Flames erupted from the ground, completely glassing the sand around it, and creating such intesne heat that everyone in the stadium could feel it.
The smoke, the dust, and the sand obscuring the view of everyone in the stadium, all of them cheering for the certaintly mentionable display of power that had erupted at the wall of the stadium.
As the smoke cleared, and Amaimon's onslaught started, it was apparent that Blindfold had been covered at the last second by a very, very strong protective ball of Ink. It rested on the ground now, the Ink writhing and convulsing and beating.
The 'war' in Blindfold's mind, between him and Amaimon, suddenly turned tides. Something way more powerful was in charge now. Amaimon never had a chance to corrupt him. The Man was the only one who had a say over Blindfold's mind.
The more powerful demons and Angels felt it, certaintly, now. A being some of them recognized, and none of them wanted to cross. A Man, a giant man-shaped hole in the world, a black void of darkness, a violent beast of destruction, something that trancended Angels, something that trancended Demons, something that even trancended their feeble understanding of what God was.
This was power.
A white strip of cloth, obviously Blindfold's blindfold, fluttered to the ground.
An ominous chuckle emanated from the protective ball of Ink.
