I know its probably recommended everywhere but My Dress-up Darling is actually amazing. I loved how the characters came off as people, not just tropes, and that both main characters had growth over the series. Plus it's wonderfully animated and even the English dub is well done.

i suggest danganronpa lol its been my fav for a long time theres an anime and theres abunch of games and a couple animes that help connect the plot

The first ones that came to my mind so far are (at least to give them a try and see if they'reyour cup of tea or not):

Wolf's Rain (plus the OVAs, which is the last 4 episodes iirc)

Tokyo Revengers

Erased

Bungo Stray Dogs

Haikyuu!!

Angels of Death

Noragami (only 2 seasons and has some changes from the manga but still enjoyable imo)

I don't watch much anime, but I do like two series: My Roommate is a Cat, and Grimore of Zero. The first is very chill, and the second has a fantastic magic system and an interesting world.

Don't think you can go your life without watching Gunbuster/Diebuster at least once.

The ones I've watched and just started are

Fairy gone
Ouran high school host club
Black butler
Blood + (if you like bloody things)
Arte (is a cute little 12 episode series)
The irregular at the magic school
Tokyo Ghoul (both original and :RE)
Elfin Lied (another bloody and gory series)

A couple of these are bloody and gory and others are just All-rounded type of animes.

There's one anime that really sticks out to me. It's called Sketchbook Full Color's. It's a short series, 13 episodes long, about a shy girl in an art club in her high school. The whole series is available on YouTube, as well as Tubi. If you like slow-paced, slice of life sort of stuff, then you'll like Sketchbook Full Color's.
