In the early 1900s, a virus was created and introduced to the world as a way to control the ever-growing population. It had adverse affects… depending on who you talk to. The virus interfered with the protein synthesis of select individuals, causing drastic mutations in their genes, while the majority of the population only exhibited symptoms of the flu. These mutations manifested in individuals in a variety of ways. Some became able to manipulate the elements, while others fostered new animalistic qualities, or even teleportation. Anything you could think of.

In a world that struggled to accept anything that was different, it’s easy to figure out what happened next.
It took the world governments one look to see what was happening and change tact. Mutants were quickly isolated and brought into specialised labs, for the purpose of experimentation and understanding how they were apparently able to break the laws of physics.

After a few years, they were used in wars, with the promise that they’d be free men and women if they did their duty. The government kept their promise, and mutants ended up being able to live normal lives. At least, if normal included having restricted rights and constant fear of being attacked, something that continues to be prevalent even in modern times

Many of those original mutants went on to have children, and their children had children, and it was discovered that the mutated gene was able to be passed down through generations, though it was able to manifest differently in each individual.

In modern day, “mutants” make up ~5% of the worlds population, and though they are still unfairly persecuted, they have been slowly breaking ground in a quest for equal rights. A few countries around the world have established laws to protect these mutants, recognizing that their powers can be used to help humanity.
The worlds first high school for mutants has been established in New Zealand, hidden within Aoraki mountain. This school is to help young mutants learn to control their powers, with the intent for them to use their powers to benefit humankind. To become real-world superheroes.

Recently, mutants from around the world have been going missing, but there hasn’t been much news, or an attempt to find them. There’s mumbles of them being taken for some top-secret government project, but they’re just rumours. Right?

~

Mutant high school students! Superheroes! How fun! Powers can be anything you can think of: fire manipulation, turn into some sort of Hulk, puke bees, anything. However, if you want a character that dabbles with death or time, talk to me about it first please! Also, if you'd like to play an adult (a teacher/mentor/trainer), feel free to ask.

The Rules:
  • No god-modding/power-playing
  • No super OP characters. All powers have their strengths and weaknesses, and they're all high school kids so chances are they aren't super strong. Have fun developing their powers and strengths as the RP goes on!
  • Try to give me notice if you know you'll be MIA and unable to post :)

February. Despite it being summer, snow was drifting down from the sky, taking it's place among the countless other flakes that blanketed Aorki mountain. Students were pouring out of the vans and cars that had driven them up to the school, bundled up in coats and scarves. It was a new school year, and it was easy to tell the new and old students apart. Old friends immediately found each other, releasing their suitcases to embrace in hugs before continuing to the school together, while the new students quickly found their way inside.

Inside, the students were instructed to leave their suitcases against the walls of the main entrance. The staff would bring their items to their rooms.

They congregated in the cafeteria, as they had in the previous years the school was open, taking seats in front of a large stage. On stage were the teachers, sitting patiently as they watched the young mutants take their places. In the centre was a tall, smartly dressed woman. Her dark eyes were hidden behind tinted half-moon glasses, and her lips were pursed as she took in all of the students, new and old.

"Good morning, students." Mrs. Bertrand's voice was loud and smooth, and the room quieted quickly. "Welcome to Aorki," she took a short pause before continuing, "here you will learn to hone the powers that you were gifted with to ultimately benefit the greater good. Here you are free to show your true selves, but remember that with great power comes great responsibility." Yes, she just quoted Spiderman. "While you may be allowed to learn and grow your power, you are not permitted to use your powers in ways that may seriously harm your classmates. Any sparring must be under supervision from your teachers," she rambled off a few more rules, clasping her tanned hands in front of her. "Failure to follow these rules will result in your expulsion from the school." She grinned, almost creepily, at the group of students sitting in front of her.

"Anyway," the principle released her grip and waved one of her hands as though swatting away a fly. "I'll be handing you over to Miss Sinclaire for more information. Have a good school year! And try not to die."

A younger woman stepped forward as the principle took her seat, and let out a rather awkward cough. "As many of the older students know, today will be orientation day. Grade 11s and 12s will be heading with Mr. Carthan," she gestured behind her to the tech teacher. "While grade 9s and 10s will be heading with Mr. Milizia," she gestured towards the physical education teacher. "You will be getting further instructions once you have reached your destinations. Please gather into your respective groups as quickly as possible." With those final words, a buzz of excitement quickly followed as students began talking, wondering what their orientation could possibly be.

Jennifer stood up, intending to follow the man introduced as Mr. Milizia when one of the faces in the crowd caught her eyes. “Luna?” She said aloud to herself, turning around to stop the person she had just spotted. It was indeed Luna, and a large smile spread across Jennifer’s face, she hadn’t seen Luna since 7th grade. “Luna it is me, Jenny!” She said excitedly, hoping that Luna had not forgotten her after all these years, as she had only been there a year, and it was several years ago. Though Jennifer doubted that Luna had forgotten her as she remembered making quite the impact.

Harrison picked up his suitcase, his body Ozzing all over the handle as he stood up from his chair. Glancing around to make sure no one was in his way he started to slide towards Mr. Carthan, his body leaving a thin green tail as he moved. He had neglected to put on shoes today and from his shins down his feet just melt into a sort of pile that was vibrating slightly as he moved.

Luna wore a green, long-sleeved shirt and black jeans, simply stretching and preparing to go with this Jamie when Jennifer called her name. Well, isn't that a familiar voice? She thought as she faced her. Luna looked at the girl, smiled, and waved. "Salutations, Jennifer. It's been a while. I hope that you'll be staying in this school for a longer period of time - we sure have a lot of catching up to do." Though Luna tried to keep a neutral resting face as to not allow her emotions to get out of check, her grin just widened and widened. Jennifer, one of her first friends since the fire, was back! Just seeing her friend's face made her heart flutter with joy!

Max wore a red short-sleeve shirt with a star design saying "You're a Star!" smiling. This was his second year at this "mutant" school and it sure didn't disappoint. He was a bit sad that his sisters continued to decline his request for them to join him, but they denied him again... and with quite a lot of passion, too. Max could just recall the memory... Camille was teasing him, calling him "Mutant Max," and Marlee said that she didn't want to embrace the "freak" in her. Oh, well, Max though, smiling. Their loss.

Max made his fair share of friendships last year - now, it was Round Two, and Max was ready to win. Jolting with electricity, Max stood up, took his black MP3 headphones off his ears, and started to glance around. Heh heh... these seems to be a lot more females around this place than last time. I will not sleep easily until every one of them sighs at simply hearing my name! Max knew that this was unrealistic, chuckling at his thought, but hey, it was a goal he set.

Mr. Carthan looked over the young faces, noting each one. Some were nervous and fresh while others obviously had been to the school before.

He straightened his tailored sweater and stepped up at the sound of his name, to peer over the crowd. "I'm Professor Carthan. Eleventh and Twelve graders, make your way to the curb outside. We will be moving location." He said the words flatly, like an order and saw the children exchange glances, some hesitating. "You will be going to battle practice and scenario training first. Go outside and get on the bus."

That seemed to get folks moving for the most part and he followed up the rear, herding them out into the cool mountain air to a waiting bus along with his collegue. When all of them were piled in, the doors closed with a hiss. The engine growled to life as the grumpy looking driver gave him a baleful look over the amount of noise from the children alone.

A few murmurs brought it to Mr. Carthan's attention that he was supposed to say something more. "If you have questions, now is the only time to ask me for the semester."

Clark
Clark had to smile the moment he heard those words from Ms. Sinclaire. He was finally an eleventh grader, and didn't have to deal with all the crap 9s and 10s got on the first day. He would swear up and down on whatever you wanted him to that the teachers put more thought into tormenting the younger grades with their damn tests than they did into actually teaching them.

Humming to himself happily as he began to move his way towards Mr. Carthan, only slightly worried that his warhammer 40l figuringes might be damaged by whoever was handling his suitcase (4 layers of bubblewrap can only do so much, you know!), he looked around for any familiar faces, with two especially in mind.

All it took was the telltale flash of pink from the corner of his eye as the group boarded the bus Mr. Carthan had thrown them on for the young man to spot his BFF and begin to make his way towards her, the young man's strength easily parting the tide in a rare display of purpose. Once reaching Esen, Clark slides into the seat, wrapping a shoulder around her and pulling her in for a side hug (very, very carefully). "Yo! Been a while, huh?! How've you been?" He says, raising his voice to be heard over the general hubbub of the crowd as he devoted his attention to te perpetually sleepy girl.

Fitzy
Fitzy wasn't exactly sure what was happening. After being woken on her second day at the school, she'd had a quick breakfast (see: Cereal bar and juice box) thrown into her hands by a guard and told to get down to the main hall. After flipping said guard the bird and making sure to take extra time getting dressed and her hair right, the young truant stormed her way through the expansive corridors and into the main hall at about the same time as the principal began her speech.

Rolling her eyes at the principal's speech, she crossed her arms and stayed silent, instead deciding to look at the people around her. It was... an odd collection, she had to admit. Some guy had electrcity arcing along him, another had wings and some girl seemed to be made of stone, and this was just in the most immediate area around her.

Noticing that the stage had grown quiet, Fitzy was jolted into action as someone brushed past her, nudging her accidentally and having her respond by giving them a look of such sheer anger that they backed off instinctively. Smiling to herself at being able to accomplish such a thing with just a look, the girl began to follow her fellow first years towards this 'Mr. Milizia'.

Sitting in the middle of the assembly hall, three teens stood in perfect unison. One was a pale girl, with short blonde hair. The other two teens were warm-skinned boys, each of them bearing a familial resemblance to one another. The girl turned to the two, worry creasing her darker brow. "We're getting split up," she said. Though her voice was quiet, there was a unique accent to it, a mixture of French and Italian.
The taller of the two boys shrugged. "Whatever. It's not permanent, is it?" He laughed lightheartedly, pulled on the thick plastic dark gloves that covered his hands. "Bit weird, though, I guess." He wrapped one arm around the girl's shoulder and planted a kiss on the top of her head. "Stay safe. Don't let anyone push you around."
The girl laughed lightly. "No one ever does, Enzo. People are a lot nicer than you think!" In her hand, she rolled a purple velveteen bag. Whatever was inside made a rattling noise as the objects clicked together.
The taller boy, Enzo, shook his head and laughed. "Just stay safe. And don't be afraid to use them." He pointed to the bag in her hand.
The other boy grabbed Enzo by the shoulder. He spoke in such an unbelievably quiet voice, but Enzo still nodded. "Hugo's sick of hearing me yap. We'll see you after, Blanche!" With that, the two brothers turned and walked off towards the teacher that was taking the ninth and tenth graders.

Blanche turned on her heel. With a skip in her step, she started the walk towards where the eleventh and twelfth graders were gathering. This was so exciting! All these new people, all these new experiences! Yet, right in with the excitement was a bubble of anxiety. She knew that her power was slightly more...lame, compared to others. At least, compared to Enzo and Hugo. She couldn't really fight, not like other mutants could. But she knew she had other talents, other important ones. Her dads wouldn't let her forget that, whenever Enzo burned her, or Hugo fried her phone.

Rolling the bag of chalk between her hands, she slipped into the edges of the crowd. One bad thing was that her only friends at the moment were Enzo and Hugo - and they didn't even count, they were her brothers. Before she could even start looking around for a friendly face, a sharp voice echoed over the crowd. Battle practice...bad start for her, she supposed, if it was going to be one on one fights. But still, she was going to give her best shot!

She followed the crowd to the bus, slipping into a seat. If she was lucky, whoever sat next to her would be friendly. If she was unlucky, well, it would be a bit of an awkward bus ride, wouldn't it?

Max scratch his head at Mr. Carthan's short intro, surprised but not surprised at the same time.
His eyes suddenly averted as he saw Blanche and her brother sit themselves down. Oooh... Hoping some more hotties would come to the party. This year is gonna be awesome! Max's eyes glittered after he asked his question. Oooh... what if Camille and Marlee join the school after realizing that it's not as bad as it sounds? I'd introduce them to my buds, show them the cutest boys in school, tell them to steer clear of the nuisances... Max giggled with joy at his thoughts.

Harrison had followed quietly alone behind the other kids, holding tightly to his suitcase. Several times he had been asked to give it over but each time he refused and they just stopped trying. Sitting down on the bus, he tried his best not to just fall apart on the seat, yet even then he still was dripping quite a bit. Suddenly he heard a soft “thump” besides him and turnin around he spotted a girl with pale white skin quickly slipping into the seat beside him, a smile on her face. He quickly started to gather himself up trying his best to avoid touching her as he flipped his head around with a jerk to look out the window.

Jennifer grinned happily, wrapping an arm around Luna and pulling the girl into a friendly hug. “¡Es tan bueno verte de nuevo!” She said, speaking now in Spanish without realising it. She did this quite often and it can be quite an issue unless you know she will do this. Letting Luna go she clapped her hands together before saying, “Come on let us go!” She chirped happily.

Jaime grunted dispassionately at the woman's summon as he languorously shifted from the tiny plastic chair on the stage with feline grace. "Don't call me that." He growled warningly stepping off the edge of the stage with fluid grace. Blonde hair shifting slightly by the movement, he cast his feline gaze across the crowd, casting knowing glances around the older students who were snickering slightly at the orientation the new students were about to recieve. "Freshies!" He called after a moment, "Get a move on! Leave your stuff and move to Corridor 10-C." With the instruction, he moved through the crowd as if he were a leaf caught in a river's current, moving swiftly and expertly through the packed bodies until he was standing before the west-facing double doors. Turning back to the students who had bothered to attempt following him, he gave them a feral grin before kicking the door open and in the same movement twisting his body through the narrow opening into the frozen courtyard the students had only just escaped from. He didn't bother waiting for his students. This was just as much a part of the test as what was to come. Springing through the snow flurries and across slick ice, he moved towards a distance high rise.

@Ver

Eugene leaned back against his chair and half-listened to the teach droning on and on about...something. He didn't really catch it. He was more preoccupied with taking in the many smells of the room, identifying which smells belonged to which person. He was simply here to make the best out of a crappy selection as the alternitive was either be a slave to the system or in prison. And now he was in a slightly less boring system with people that could possibly be living nukes for all he knows, being forced to learn about things he either already knows or will probably never use. While he was sniffing around, an unusual scent caught his attention. This smelled....better then everything else. Not in a cleanliness or flavor sense but better on a more....instinctual level. He looks around to find the source of the scent and in the mess of scents, eventually tracked down his girl. A blond girl about his age, wearing a black dress shirt. This might be because of his moth like hair, but she smelled better then anyone else in the room. It was unmistakable, even when compared to the other girls in the room. He didn't know if this was entirely natural but she was something that Eugene had to meet.

When the class stood up to go with their receptive teachers, Eugene stood up and made a beeline for the girl, getting right up to her and introducing himself in the only faction he really knows how.

"Hey lady. Name's Eugene. You know that female moths can attract potential mates several miles away. Right now you can consider me..." He snaps and points at the girl in an attempt to seem cool. "...attracted."

Maroe sat on the end of the row in the cafeteria waiting for the speech to be over. Dont die. Right. She tilted her head, causing a lock of strawberry blonde hair to flop into her face, prompting her to tuck it behind her ear. When the thin tech teacher walked stiffly up to address them, she fidgeted. Battle practice? Blinking a few times, she stood and shuffled outside into the cool mountain air. It was cold and dry here, a far cry from home. But that wasnt home anymore was it?

Maroe braced herself against the cool air and climbed into the bus, settling next to a boy away from the window. Their teacher was short of words, which made her slightly nervous. "He doesn't seem th' friendliest does he?" She noted to the boy sitting next to her in a smooth southern accent, "I'm Maroe by the way."

Luna clutched her friend's hand, smiling. "Jennifer! Before we go straight into the happy-happy, how have you been? New schools must be a pain! Made any new friends?" Luna knew this that this was one aspect she wasn't able to relate with her friend on - she had only gone to two schools. Luna wanted to know everything about her friend's life. "Not too much has changed around this place. I've made my fair share of new buds though, so I'd be happy to introduce you!"
---
Max's pupils seemed to shrink as he saw his new (though admittedly more one-sided) rival, Somename McLoserson. Not even like that was the problem - he was stealing Max's gig! Well, Max's gig was more electricity, but he was stealing Max's other gig! How dare the thieving mutant try to outdo Max in everything he did! Max was not going to stand for it!!

Pulling up his sleeves before pulling them back down again remembering that looking pleasant influences the chance of getting a compliment, Max walked to the boy and his mate with an empowered expression. "Why, my dear, I beg for you to not be influenced by this silly brute! He is unprofessional and narcissistic, like a charming python that attracts you before - hiss! - sinking its terrible fangs deep into your flesh." Max smiled. "You such a beauty too! You are far too good for him! Ditch this punk in search for a much more likable partner..." Max glared at the flirt. "One that is worth your time."

It took Blanche a second to realise what kind of person was beside her. A person that seemed to be totally made of, like, slime. She watched as some of the liquid on him seeped away from her and back into him. For a moment, she thought about whether to mention it or not. Maybe it would be weird not to? Or would he prefer that she just treated him like normal?

She quietly cleared her throat. "Hey!" She said cheerily. "I'm Blanche. What's your name?" She extended a hand for the boy to shake, despite having doubts over if he could even shake her hand. Too late, she noticed that he had quite dramatically looked away from her, out the window. Still, she didn't waver, her pale hand hovering in the air.

Another year, another day.

Kylie Heidrich wasn't particularly excited about it, but she wasn't particularly resistant to the passage of time. It always kept moving at its own leisurely pace, and there was nothing no one could really do to keep it from going where it pleased. Everything was as it was. Some days though, she just wished that it wasn't that way. Sometimes, she wished days went by faster, and yet, here she was, already in her third year at this blasted school like no time had passed at all. It was distressing to an extent. Vexing, even.

Home hardly felt like home during the break. If anything, she felt more at place at school. That wasn't a testament to how comfortable she felt at the school, but rather, how alienated she felt from home these days. Roughly four or five years later, and she would never be able to face how empty her home had become, with her mother no longer there, and her reliable older brother still missing in action. All there was... was dear old father, with a bottle in hand and an unwillingness to really look at her in the eyes, try as he might to hide that. But she noticed. Kylie noticed, and she knew. It felt like living with a stranger, in that regard.

As the day slowly went by, she zoned in and out during the alumni go over the formalities as they always did every year; there really was no point in paying attention, or so Kylie found. She just noted the name of the teacher she was set to go to; Mr. Carthan, and from there, that should have been it. If it was anything like last year, or the year before that, she would have just proceeded undisturbed, but not this year.

This year, she just had to be disturbed.

Upon reaching Professor Carthan and listening to what he had to say, she had to let out a short breath in response to the prospect of a "battle practice" for the beginning of the semester. Guess now that they were "advanced students" or whatever, the baby gloves could come off, and that was just fine with her. Once that was all done and over with, Kylie began to make her way onto the bus along with everyone else without a word. However, she was interrupted when a certain boy got in his way.

Just the act of getting in her way by itself was enough to make Kylie openly scowl at Eugene, as the boy introduced himself as, but then he opened his mouth too, and that was... unpleasant, to say the least. Was that supposed to be a good pick-up line? Because if so, Kylie suddenly felt less bad about not being much of a target for boys' affections.

"I'll have to invest in bug spray if that's the case then," Kylie said flatly, brusquely attempting to walk past Eugene.

...

And then another one showed up right in front of her.

Admittedly, the other guy had something going for him as he called Eugene "unprofessional" -- that was probably putting it lightly -- but then he had to keep talking too. Between the python euphemisms (not pleasant) and the awkward flattery, Kylie could at least agree with him in one thing. As her lavender eyes dashed between the two, a scowl shifting back into a blank expression, she pursed her lips and nodded.

"You're right. I should find a partner worth my time. Tell me if you find someone like that."

And with that, she started to abruptly move again for the bus.

Harrison paused as the girl introduced herself as Blanche, and offered her hand out for him to shake. He turning his head back to face her, completely ignoring the hand stuck out, “Harrison” he said quickly, his voice sounding like someone trying to speak through a mouthful of water. He then turned his head back around, still ignoring her outstretched hand, though noticeable edging away from it. He hated the feeling of being touched, couldn’t stand it, especially not by strangers.

Jennifer laughed happily, noting the eagerness in Luna’s voice before she started talking. “I met lots of new people! Not all of them were nice though. I would love to meet new people!” She replied, her mouth moving a mile a minute. She carefully avoided answering the question about friends, as she wasn’t quite sure she wanted to admit her lack there of, beside Luna of course.

Esen//Grade 11

Weighted shoes were not the most comfortable thing in the world. They slammed against the floor of the bus, the weight making Esen's body lurch awkwardly with every step. But it was either weighted shoes or floating away, sometimes she'd rather go with the latter. She sat near the front of the bus, preferring to be away from the ruckus that was normally at the back. Maybe she'd be able to catch a few minutes of shuteye before they arrived to wherever the heck they were going.

She'd rested her hooded head against the window of the bus and felt herself drifting off to sleepland. Just kidding. A presence disturbed her by wrapping their arm around her shoulders and yanking her towards him. If it was anyone else, they'd have her fist in their face.

"You saw me last week, Andrew," she gave him a sleepy grin, struggling to keep her voice above the loudness of the bus. "I've been tired." Nothing was new. She rubbed her eyes with closed fists to try to wake up a bit, and looked up to the front of the bus where Mr. Carthan was standing, ready to take questions. "Maybe you should ask him what the heck we're going to be doing." She mumbled to her buddy, her head already drooping slightly onto his arm despite her efforts to wake up. "Hopefully he'll let me nap for a little bit."

@TheGreenerGrey

Yekaterina//Grade 10

The twins had been near the back of the cafeteria, and nearly lost sight of the teacher that was supposed to lead them to orientation. However, at 6'3", Yekaterina's long legs allowed her to peer over most of the other students, and her pale blue eyes quickly caught the teacher that they were supposed to be following. Shouldn't he be waiting for them? She quickly grabbed onto her brothers sleeve, her mind reaching out to his. We need to follow him. She gave his shirt another yank before releasing it and starting off after their teacher. What a strange man.

As soon as they left the building, wind began whipping Yekaterina's blonde locks around. A chill crept up her spine and she was debating whether or not they should turn back, but she was quickly able to find Mr. Milizia's footsteps in the snow and decided to continue on. At least we have his foot prints to follow. She sent a sideward glance to her twin before racing off after Jaime.

Yekaterina debated lighting some part of her body on fire in order to get through the snow faster, but she settled with just stepping in Mr. Milizia's footsteps. "Teacher," her Russian accent was thick as she yelled through the cold air, her breath visible as it lifted through the air. "Where are we going?" She called out to the barely-visible figure in the distance.

Luna's face was straight for a moment realizing her friend had partially avoided her question, but decided not to push on. "Well, there's Anastasia, Alexia, Terra, Estelle, um-" Luna's grin grew. "Kylie. She's professional and no-nonsense, so maybe if I introduced you two, I'd have to get her in a good mood." Luna chuckled softly, just picturing the pair together, Jennifer trying to start a conversation while Kylie trying to end it. "That would be a movie-worthy matchup."
---
Max was kind of disappointed with the blonde's reaction, but she got her to leave nonetheless. He grinned and blew a raspberry at the flirt wannabe, happy that his mission was accomplished. "Take that, lameass! You shouldn't mess with the Maxter!" Max said with a chuckle. "I can't believe you, honestly. Knowing that flirting was my thing... and you try to beat me at it? How sad!" Max ran his pointer finger from his eye to his cheek to exaggerate a picture.

Alishar wasn’t very use to the whole private school thing, let alone how he got here. However it didn’t really matter much now did it? Great first day and he was already talking to himself inside his own head. He popped up and out of Bed, took a quick shower, in his only pair of clothes and shook himself dry. Then ended up at the school the same as everyone else did. His suit case was mostly empty, he just didn’t know what to pack, and the only clothes he had were the ones he was currently wearing, parents wouldn’t let him have anything else, almost like they wanted him to glow in the dark, to distance him, however it didn’t matter, today was another day, once again after orientation everything would pick up a beat and a rhythm would form and it would be called a year, a boring year because it would no doubt be Monotone and about the same as every other school he’d been to.

Of course he took in the halls and the other students the place was kinda Quite awesome, a tad bit ornate and over the top, but very well done for security , and the details were quite nice to. The velvet rug was quite decent .
Then came the speech. The most boring part of the entire thing. She went on and on and On and wouldn’t hush. Great school yadaydadayada Godo school year, try not to die. Switch teachers. Yep met every box he’d expect. He looked around at the other studends, each doing and being a different individual, and none of them were a hideous sore thumb like him. Wonderful, he could see sly glances this way and that and his way every now and then. Then the whole body began to shift and move and come alive. Which teacher was his again? A Jam- it was definetly a J and he figured it wouldn’t be any of the older looking bigger. People, who were heading towards a bus.
So he followed people around his age, and whom he thought was in his grade, Hey was that guy got some kind of Electricity power? He glanced at max in the throng of people but continued to follow the Person leading his group.
Before to long they were all jogging through snow in someplace he didn’t recognize, he wasn’t sure where they were, but it wasn’t exactly pleasant. He was kinda pissed, were they actually trying to kill them!? What kind of a holes would do that!
“ A-are you miss Jamie?” He asked To make sure he was in the right place.

Hanz:
Had found one of the students sleeping and woke her up only to get flipped of much to his annoyance, oh well he’d just keep tabs on her. With that he went back to his tree that he used to keep and eye on the school.

Clark smiled happily as he watched his friend drift off. "Yeah, but it's still a long time to me. And don't worry, i'll cover ya." He whispers into her ear as she leant against him, trying his best not to disturb her. He had learnt very quickly that almost nothing could deter Esen from her naps, and it was best to just accept them. Plus, he had to admit it was nice knowing she liked him enough to use him as a pillow. Holding her a bit loser to him so she could ise the rest of his body, he followed along with her suggestion.

"Sir, what will we actually be doing?" He asks, raising his hand towards the teacher. He didn't really know much about the teacher, and hoped that they weren't the type to get snippy about students talking to them without permission. Ticking a teacher off on thr first day really wasn't his style.

@Ailis @aryamajor

Fitzy
Fitzy watchd in shock as their teacher, who was supposed to be guiding them, ran out into the snow! Throwing her hands up, she placed both hand onto her hips and for a moment simply stares in something approaching amazement as some blonde chick dragging some other dude just ran out there like it was the most normal thing.

Looking at the other mutants around her, Fitzy puts on a face of resigned disgust and quickly dashes out into the freezing cold atmosphere, arms straight as she stalked through the land, following the figure of the tall blonde girl and silently vowing to make that teacher's life hell, whoever the hell he was.

For a moment she considered just unleashing her Ghist, but it didn't take long for her to veteo that. It took more effort to restrain that thing than it did to march through snow in nothing but jeans, a loose shirt and a blazer. So, grumbling death threats to herself, she marched on.

It was the same every year, freshman just had no initiative. He hadn't really expected anyone to follow him other than the die-hard students; those less fortunate to not follow his immediate lead would be sorely lacking once the snowstorm covered his tracks and they failed to find their way to the specified corridor. He'd sabotaged most of the grounds maps littered around the campus earlier in the week for this precise reason, and the older students would probably find it too funny to direct any inquiring youngster correctly. But he was pleasantly surprised to notice at least a couple students had bothered to pay him any amount of heed and were attempting to keep up with him. Sly grin spreading around his lips, he could feel his Shift starting to take over as tufts of bronze fur sprouted from his cheeks and his nails and fingers snapped into more feline grace. In an explosion of cloth, the blonde-haired man was gone and an unorthodox and unnaturally large bronze lynx was sprinting through the snow in his place; leaving barely a mark in the powder with expert skill. In his feline form, he found his paws carrying him forward with greater speed and quickly doubled the distance between himself and the students who'd bothered to heed his command. Let them use their intellect to find Corridor 10-C. Not that it was particularly difficult for ones who knew the campus. It was after all the highest tower on campus.

He'd been working with the instructors for months on this year's orientation and he was eagerly looking forward to it. A test of both intelligence and ability; it was the most effective way to evaluate both skills with a single exercise. He was primarily a physical education teacher, he would not use something as ordinary and bland as standardized testing in order to evaluate the skill of his students. No, he would demand a physical challenge. And would settle for nothing less. He wondered how many students would make it into his advanced simulations class this years based on these results, and also which students would benefit the most from the wilderness training he also provided. Eager to get started, he threw back his bronze head and roared into the wind with glee. Let them follow him! Let them join him! This would be a year to remember!
