Question Avatar already set on new account?

Hi! I just registered my account, but my avatar was already set to the one I usually use. That kind of surprised me, so I was wondering where this site got it from.

I had this exact situation happen when I made my account and it surprised me as well. Our site has two options for avatars; uploading your own avatar or to use Gravatar. If I'm not mistaken Gravatar is the default option. If you've ever used wordpress your avatar is automatically entered into Gravatar, that's where my old avatar resurfaced from. If you'd like to change your avatar you should be able to upload your own in your account settings.
