Becoming the Monster

"Sounds good. I already hit the gym today, so how about tomorrow at," before Emilia could finish her thought she was abruptly interrupted. Upon seeing the Captain and his entourage, she reflexively sprung to her feet and stood at attention making sure nothing was between her and the captain and that her fellow shifters could line up beside her. She stood with her feet shoulder width apart, perfect upright posture, and her hands folded behind her back. She looked straight ahead looking at nothing in particular.

Lifi had been trying to hide for the most part as she had made her way into the mess hall. She had taken a glance at the food but decided to simply stay out of sight as much as possible. She already knew she was a bit of a freak before the RIEP project and now as a shifter, she knew that she would stand out all the more. Lifi had only recently gotten away from all the scientists and their countless tests, her time with them seeming to have been much longer then other shifters as they seemed worried how her Kaiju also being albino might affect her shifting and health.

Lifi noticed that it seemed many of the shifters seemed to be grouping together and chatting together. Lifi stared for a moment, wondering if she should go over and introduce herself or not when a loud shout caught her attention. The shouting officer seemed quite over the top to Lifi and she wasnt all that interested in the military aspect of being in the RIEP. The 'freak' comment rolled right over her as she was quite accustom to such comments directed toward her, though she knew it was for being Kaiju shifter though rather then her being albino.

As the officer shouted to line up Lifi watched as one of the seemingly military trained shifters stood before him. Lifi hesitated but followed and moved to stand to the right of the other shifter. Lifi made no effort to look formal and simply stood rather casually next to her, glancing over the various Walker pilots behind the officer, wondering who they might be.

Seeing at least two other shifters follow the command, Dylan took the example and placed himself to the left of the taller shifter, in a similar stance but more relaxed. His posture was a sort of balance between the tall girl and the pale girl. He didn't have any sort of military experience, but seeing as he took his stance by example of the taller shifter it came kind of close to seeming like he did. And beyond that he had a naturally formal composure, taken after his eldest brother, which showed a little bit in the way he carried himself in the stance.

Clyde jumped as the sound of a loud voice rand throughout the hall, startling him enough to drop his trail mix. A powerful looking man, who Clyde recognised to be the one in charge and he scrambled over, quickly getting in line with the others. He attempted to keep his body ridged and straight like the others, yet his limbs refused to agree with him, leaving him in this awkward half slouch. Clyde for the most part kept a straight face, though his obvious discomfort was clear anyway.
