APPEARANCE:
Height: 1.91m | 6’2ft
Weight: 95kg | 209.43lbs
Eye Color: Bright Blue
Hair Color: Dark/Black
Appearance: Christian has a fair skintone with very well-defined cheekbones that enhance the way his bright blue eyes glimmer in a morning’s sun. The fair tone of his skin contrasts beautifully with his eyes and his dark eyebrows are carefully kept and further bring out the blue in his eyes. He has a strong chin with thick lips that keep his perfectly white teeth hidden from view whenever his mouth is closed. The total lack of beauty marks and blemishes makes his skin look pure and well-taken care off. A rather chaotic-looking ‘i don’t feel like shaving’-beard adorns his strong jawlines, cheeks and chin and while it often decreases someone’s beauty; it does the opposite with Christian; it makes him look mature and it brings out the fairness of his skin, which in turn enhances the rest of his facial appearance.
Christian has broad shoulders that pave the path for his rather broad, muscled and stubble-covered chest. Two arms with well-developed biceps and lower-arms extrude from his shoulders and end in lithe and elegant hands with slender fingers. One could see the veins under his hand’s skin pulsating and if his developed arm muscles were flexed it would be possible to see the same veins on the flexed parts. His chest leads down onto a ripped stomach that is divided by a trail of black stubble that leads from Christian’s chest all the way down over his stomach and into his crotch-area. He has a defined V-line and his back muscles are developed up to the same level as his front. Going down from his waist he has broad, muscled upper legs and strong and sturdy calves hat lead down to a lithe pair of feet. Christian also has a bubblebutt; something that always shows in whatever he wears.
Christian has a rather large wardrobe that consists of sets of clothing for both everyday- and professional use. His everyday clothing mainly uses the colors black, grey and white. When going out of- and away from the Academy, one of the sets he likes to wear consists of a black pair of skintight (skinny)-jeans that bring out his sizable behind. He wears white, low heelsocks that are hidden by his black sneakers. Said sneakers have a white band just above the sole. Adorning his muscled chest is a tight, soft-grey sleeveless shirt over which he likes to wear a black bodywarmer. Occasionally, he’d put on the bodywarmer’s hood; effectively covering his face and sensitive ears from the elements. Another day-to-day set he likes to wear is a black suite with a white dress shirt. It perfectly fits his body’s physique and he looks sophisticated and handsome whilst wearing it. A pitch black tie goes with the suit. Christian dislikes that when wearing this set his fair skincolor seems white. The white dress shirt is breaking it up a little; but not much. Something else that he hates is how ridiculous the ‘formal’ shoes that he wears with the suit look. He hates it; and quite frankly; he looks better wearing either boots or sneakers.

PERSONALITY AND HISTORY:
Personality: Christian is most often described as a gentle and compassionate guy by those who know him. He is always there for those he considers his true friends and he would quite literally go through fire - or cause one - to help them.
Growing up as Dutch Royalty was rather easy for Christian, at least, for the first few years.. His parents; the queen and king consort, shielded him from the global media until after the assassination happened. Being only three years old, the sudden increase of interest and expectations from the Dutch people, the media and the Union greatly upset the young child. Often hiding behind his mother or playing with her most trusted handmaiden whilst his mother attended royal events or handled matters of state. As a child; the ever-present media had a great influence over how he developed. When he began to understand and more importantly, read what the media was saying about him and his mother he began to feel superior over others and acted as such. Often not showing up for lessons in magic and - even more so - for etiquette-related lessons he often infuriated queen Amalia. After a while, when he found out that he could, like his mother, light candles when he concentrated, he was often caught playing around with easy magic spells; setting curtains on fire and convincing the handmaidens into giving him more food or sweets.
As he grew older and began to play a more important rule in state affairs he matured quickly; showing great compassion, love and determination when it comes to everything he does.
The Dutch people began to see Christian as their future ruler, and believe that the many great traits of his mother, Queen Amalia, are also present in Christian. Even though Christian has always truly been acting like himself whenever he handled affairs of state with his mother, the people don’t know him fully.
Christian, along with his mother Amalia, are considered to be the wisest and fairest of the Dutch Royal family who have ever lived. The expectations of the people and the Union are always there and he aims to fulfil his duties to the best of his abilities. Obviously, he is still human and has his fears and dislikes; but as a future-monarch, he tries to suppress those; often resulting in him breaking down after a hard day at the Academy or in his day-to-day life.
The three words that describe Christian the best are ‘Loyalty’, ‘Compassion’ and ‘Dedication’.
History: Already from the moment of his birth, Christian was shouldered by the continuation of the Dutch royal bloodline. The Hundred Years' War took a toll on the royal line, as their mages, regardless of a royal status, fought and bled during the conflict. This meant the Dutch Royal Lineage were close to extinction, if not for the great revelation of a son and heir given to the Netherlands by King Consort Charles Valois of Orléans and Queen Amalia Victoria. When Christian was born, the entire nation rejoiced as the royal line was to continue, and with their benevolent rule, the nation prospered.
The following years, now with a legitimate heir to the throne, Queen Amalia was chosen by the Royal Council of the Union, to be the Monarch to oversee the entire alliance. While this was a seat of great honor and power, it also made the Dutch royal line a target.
When Queen Amalia was pronounced as the de facto ruler of the Union, Emperor Alexei Romanov initiated his plans to cripple Western Europe.
On the celebration of the crown prince's 3rd birthday, the royal family hosted a joyous celebration by the Muiderslot Castle in the countryside of Amsterdam. The Royal couple wanted a moment away from all the media, and just enjoy their beloved son's birthday like a family.
The Confederacy caught wind of this, and it was the best moment to strike, as the Queen and King were practically only defended by castle guards. As Emperor Alexei Romanov, couldn't send a lowly assassin to murder some of Europe's most powerful mages, he had to do it personally.
The following events could only be described as a nightmare for Christian. The castle aflame, dead bodies of their handmaidens and guards littered the once so beautiful garden of Muider. His parents fighting against a monstrous being in the far distant, only ending with the scream of his mother, calling out his father's name.
After the sudden and cruel death of the King Consort became known to the Dutch people; they were infuriated and in emotional distress. The people gathered en masse; paying their respects by offering orange roses at the steps of every royal palace. Both Queen Amalia and Christian often talked to the people and shared their emotions and sorrow. This action effectively strengthened the bond between the Dutch Royal House and the Dutch people and the clear show of emotion from the queen and the crown prince made the Dutch people once again realize that they too, are human.
During the rather long period of sorrow and mourning, the Queen and Christian grew closer together. Barely seen apart from the queen, Christian was heavily affected by his father’s sudden passing. The realization that danger could lurk wherever he went caused him to be in constant fear. Obviously, as a kid he did not realize that it was the fear of ending up the same as his father did.
That realization came sooner rather than later, for he became gradually more and more curious as to what exactly had happened that one dreadful evening. When he asked his mother; the queen, she told him everything that had happened in detail. Christian was only eight years old at the time and had trouble processing all that his mother was telling him. Shocked by the revelation, he had stood up - to his mother’s surprise - and had grabbed a bouquet of orange roses that had arrived early that day, and whilst it was at the middle of the night he walked towards their residence’s front door and whilst tears were rolling down his cheeks, he laid the bouquet of orange roses to rest on the steps that lead towards the door through which he had come. His mother had followed Christian and now stood in the door’s opening - all the while dismissing her personal handmaiden’s words of advice about staying inside - and witnessed how Christian sank on his knees and seemed to talk to something or someone only he could see. When Christian was asked about this by his mother all he had told her was that he was simply telling his father that he loved- and missed him. After this they had spend the rest of the night watching movies. All of the handmaidens were granted a night off, and even though they could leave, the majority of the handmaidens decided to stay with the royal family to share in their time of need. This was also the evening at which Christian learned that even when he has people serving him at his every whim, it is still important to be humble and know how to take care of himself.
Christian’s bond with his mother only got stronger and stronger as time went by. By the time he reached the age of sixteen, his mother had told him about something called ‘The Trials of the Elements’. Intrigued by the stories behind it he listened carefully as his mother told him all there was to know about the elements, their respective spirits and how they are connected to each other and - more importantly - to both his mother and himself. The queen also told him about how she had successfully participated in the Trials and how she can now control the elements as if they were extensions of her mind. Impressed by all of the revealed information about his mother - of which he had no knowledge prior to their conversation - he asked her if he too could participate. The feeling he got when he witnessed how his mother’s eyes filled with pride and joy was overwhelmingly nice and he couldn’t help but smile as she told him she would take him to the sea - Zandvoort aan Zee, specifically - to initiate the first trial; the Trial of Water. She didn’t tell him what the trial was about or what he would have to do; for she didn’t know that information either, when she participated.
Soon after the queen told Christian about the Trial of the Elements and after she promised him she’d take him to the sea, they actually went. Still having no knowledge about the Trial of Water, Christian chattered happily about everyday things like magic training and about how badly he wanted to attend the Arcadia Academy once he was old enough. His mother and her most trusted handmaiden listened carefully but still didn’t tell Christian about the Trial until they reached the sea. Telling Christian to take-off his clothes until all that still adorned his - surprisingly muscled - body was a pair of boxers, his mother remember how she felt when her father and mother had told her to strip down to her mere underwear. Christian, however surprised by this, listened to her and did just that.
After that his mother quickly told him about what he had to do to complete the Trial of Water; stay in the deep water; become one with its tide and current and when he would start to drown he was to welcome the water as if it was a part of him, If the Water Spirits deemed him worthy of the their raw elemental power, they would bring him back to life and carry him to shore; granting him their power. Obviously he was shocked at first; but determined to complete the trial. So he went in; and after two days he reemerged at the same spot where he went into the water. Streams of water adorned his body; acting like little rivers going all over his almost-naked, shivering body. He was embraced by his mother; her most-trusted handmaiden standing ready with a warm towel, which she wrapped around Christian at the first opportunity she had.
After he had gained the power of the Water Spirits he was more ‘open’ to spirits in general. As soon as he began to actively interact with the spirits of water he held the imaginary door open for those with malignant intent. He began to be bothered and plagued by evil spirits who kept him wide awake at night; whenever he did manage to fall asleep however he woke up hours later; sweat running down his body and his heart throbbing in his throat. With the evil spirits came the ever-presents shades; ever lurking and manipulating the shadows into strange and scary shapes; seemingly moving and alive in the corner of Christian’s eye; but when looked at directly; all he could see would just be a normal shadow.
This was also the time at which he went through the Trial of Air; having to spend two nights and one full day in a harsh storm; concentrating on his breathing. Not just ‘in’ and ‘out’, no, he had to learn how to truly breathe; how to feel its currents gracing the insides of his lungs; to feel how it filled him with life. He had to move gracefully; allowing the wind’s current to guide him through the storm; predicting every single gale before it hit him. And when it did hit him; he had to let it do what it has to do. He, on the other hand had to let the gale lead his movements; gracing his hands and arms in the strong current as he felt how the wind’s very ‘spirit’ touched him and filled him with life. Moments before the storm dissipated he felt it; the richness of a spirit that granted him their power. Now able to predict extremely strong gales and storms; he went back home, and told his mother, the queen, about what he had been through.
When Christian finally joined the Arcadia Academy he was a quick study when it came to magic;, however lacking at the physical training. In his first year he managed to use the Water- and Wind spirits. In his second year he completed the Earth trial, in which he had to sit on a big mountain; only surrounded by rocks and dust, having nothing to eat whilst he concentrated on the earth and its very essence. After days, his body began to break down due to the lack of food and water. At the moment he was about to lose his life; the Elemental Earth Spirits spoke to him; granting him their power and effectively saving his life.
In the third year he managed to successfully complete the Fire Trial; having to cope with extreme temperatures until his body slowly burned down; leaving him naked and vulnerable. At the moment his body would catch fire, the Elemental Fire Spirits spoke to him by extinguishing the cleansing fires; once again granting him their power to influence this element.
In his third year he also became involved with the Disciplinary Committee. Based on his combat abilities, leadership skills and academic scores he was chosen by the Student Council’s President to become the Disciplinary Captain.

Potency - N/A - It’s effect on people varies. For example; a person who is superstitious and afraid of spirits will be more heavily impacted by it and as of such class it as a type-A magic, however people with strong willpower or fellow spirit-mages - who are used to spirits - will be more resistant to it.
Scale of Mana Required - A
Processing Power of Magic - B
SPIRIT DRAIN: Christian focuses on either a evil spirit - which is prefered - or a normal, friendly one and effectively drains it of all its mana; leaving only fragments of the spirit’s manifestation. It fills-up his own mana reserves. However, usages of this spell can leave Christian filled with disgust and/or the memories of the spirit he drained. Effects of the memories from evil spirits may vary; depending on its severity.

Inherited Magic: After having completed the Trials of the Elements, Christian became capable of summoning the spirits of the elements at his own leisure. His Dutch Royalty grants him the innate affinity with this type of magic that is only usable by the Dutch; primarily their Royalty. Christian’s mother; Queen Amalia, is the strongest when it comes to the usage of this particular branch of magic.
ELEMENTAL SHIELD: Christian calls forth one of his elemental spirits to shield him from incoming physical- and magical attacks. Christian needs to meet the right conditions in order to successfully cast an elemental shield. For instance, he can’t form a shield of fire in rainy weather, a shield of water if there is no humidity in the air or a source nearby, a shield of earth if the surface on which he stands is made of metal or a similar material and a shield of air in a place where heavy and aggressive winds are already a factor.
Water: A shield made of the elemental spirit of water is quite literally a big wave of water that moves up from its source; effectively shielding Christian. It can extinguish fire-oriented magical attacks and divert ballistic projectiles from their trajectory.
Incantation: ‘Nerones, dona mihi praesidium’
Air: A shield made of the elemental spirit of air is literally a small ‘twister’, but locallized and focussed around Christian. It can stop earth-orientated magical attacks from hitting.
Incantation: ‘Atmos, dona mihi praesidium’
Earth: A shield made of the elemental spirit of earth literally manifests as a wall that raises from the earth, made out of the material on which Christian stands. It can deflect attacks until it breaks.
Incantation: ‘Gios, dona mihi praesidium’
Fire: A shield made of the elemental spirit of fire is literally a burst of flames that shields Christian from incoming water-oriented attacks and incinerates ballistic projectiles that are not made of fire resistant materials.
Incantation: ‘Ignae, dona mihi praesidium’
Potency - C for water, fire and wind. B for earth.
Scale of Mana Required - B - The cost increases with each successful hit against the elemental shield.
Processing Power of Magic - A
ROCK SHRAPNEL: By borrowing the power of the Earth Spirit; Gios, Christian commands rocks to levitate up into the air before allowing them to dance across his arms. By extending his hand towards his target, Christian can unleash a deadly barrage of rock shrapnels at the same capability of a bullet, and the rate of fire similar to a machine gun’s. The ability will leave a visible mark on the landscape.
Incantation: ‘Gios, audi vocem meam auxilium; dona mihi potestatem tuam essentia’
Potency - C - Continued firing of rocks will ultimately reach into a A-Classification.
Scale of Mana Required - A - Continued firing of rocks will cause the scale of mana required to bump up to a C-Classification.
Processing Power of Magic - B
GALEFORCE: Christian borrows the power of the Elemental Spirit; Atmos, and uses it to project a powerful blast of strong gales in the direction he is facing. As the gales increase their intensity - which is a lot easier in extremely windy areas - they become deadly. Christian needs to continuously chant the incantation in order to send out the gales. The gales will carry his voice for great distances and the incantation will cause strong headaches to those who are in reach of the ability.
Incantation: ‘Atmos: audiat clamorem meum: inundare consuevit sine fine dolorum meorum in corde meo, ut potiorem ira semper est praesens opus’
Potency - A
Scale of Mana Required - B - The longer he uses the ability and chants the incantation the stronger it gets and the heavier the drainage of his mana will be. It will reach a solid D-Classification after using it for a prolonged period of time.
Processing Power of Magic - D
RIPTIDE: Christian borrows the power of the Elemental Spirit; Nerones, and uses it to call forth extremely strong and dense pillars of water that reach up, arch over the ground and fall down on top of a unsuspecting target. The entire arch then collapses and increases it’s current; effectively pulling the target under. What it does then is using its current to keep it under water, pulling the target all the way back to the source of water where the extreme downward current will try to drown those who were grabbed. Several of the extremely strong and dense pillars can suddenly erupt from several different sources; and they will all pull under the specified targets. Several sources that can be used are sewer drains, water channels, hot water geysers (which also burn their victims), cold water geysers, underground springs, lakes, seas and oceans.
Incantation: ‘Nerones, exaudi orationem meam; mihi virtutem influendi excursus fac voluntatem meam ut cordis maneo, certa clara mihi propositum’
Potency - A - The ability is able to kill or hurt big quantities of people in a small amount of time; it also functions as a terrorization tool. The ability is also highly destructive; careless usage of it might result in unnecessary loss of life.
Scale of Mana Required - D - The more of the pillars appear, the more mana it requires to function.
Processing Power of Magic - D - The incantation is long and complicated; causing it to take slightly longer to cast the ability.
